One of the most important questions that schoolchildren and their mentors have when preparing for Olympiads, including such interdisciplinary and complex ones as, is what problems exist and how to solve them. You can try to solve all kinds and types of problems that exist, but this is a rather long and ineffective path. Olympiads are creative tests, and not an exam - mandatory, therefore tasks can only combine well-known techniques and approaches to solution, but, in general, Olympiad tasks- always a subject for thought and out-of-the-box thinking which you need to develop in yourself. The main thing is to think, then to do.

The collection below for preparation and self-study for the Olympiads was compiled by leading experts in matters of the Olympiad movement and includes the following materials:

Chemistry program high school(grades 10-11) differs from the basic school program (grades 8-9), primarily in the study organic chemistry and physical chemistry (mainly chemical equilibrium and chemical kinetics), which are not in the new basic school standard. Besides, inorganic chemistry is given at a more in-depth level than in basic school. Stoichiometric calculations are no longer the main element of the content of problems, as in grades 8-9, but serve only as an auxiliary tool for solution.

The Moscow Olympiad for schoolchildren in chemistry is one of the oldest in Russia. Conducted since 1938...

Students in grades 8-11 can take part in it, regardless of their place of residence. The first (qualifying) stage takes place remotely. The second - in person in Moscow, Krasnoyarsk and Voronezh.

The full-time stage includes two rounds: theoretical and practical. To perform successfully, you must take part in both. At the same time, not everyone participates in the practical round, but only those who are invited based on the results of the theoretical round. A month before the second round, each participant is offered a topic for an essay. Practical tour involves defending an abstract and solving experimental problems.
