Bright Christmas holiday

Bright holiday of Christmas!
There is no happier celebration!
On the night of Christ's birth
A star lit up above the earth.

Since then, through the centuries
She shines for us like the sun.
Warms the soul with faith
To make the world a better place.

Gives sparks of magic
Bright holiday of Christmas!
Peace comes to every home...
Merry Christmas!

The Christ Child is born

There are countries where people have never known
No blizzards, no loose snows;
There only non-melting snow sparkle
Peaks of granite ridges.

The flowers there are more fragrant, the stars are larger,
Brighter and more elegant spring
And the feathers of birds are brighter there, and warmer
There is a wave of the sea.

In such a country on a fragrant night,
Whispering laurels and roses
The desired miracle happened firsthand:
The Christ Child was born.

Miracle Times

Those were the days of miracles
The words of the prophet came true:
Angels descended from heaven
The star rolled from the East.

The world of redemption awaited -
And in the poor manger of Bethlehem,
To the song of praise of Eden,
The wondrous baby shone
And thundered through Palestine
Voice in the wilderness…

holy night

Holy night! How do you shine
On our life path!
You strengthen our strength
And teach us where to go.

Messenger of another world
You are the Star of Bethlehem
From the gloom of the desert
Led me to the Living Key!

Let's forget grief and sadness

Let's forget
And grief, and sadness!
Baby Jesus was born today!

He was born at night, in a deep cave.
He was surrounded only by birds and animals!
Yes, angels, yes postuhi and magi!
And that means people, and that means us!

Standing on the sidelines and quietly watching
What a miracle in Saint Bethlehem!

Fluffy snow at Christmas

Fluffy snow
Covered the dense forest
The earth fell asleep in a quiet sleep,
The vault of the heavens darkened.

Today is a break from work
Forget all worries...
The first star will light up -
And Christ will come to us.

It will come down to every family
Bring peace and tranquility
All the goodness to show their
Have a feast for the kids.

Christmas

Today will be Christmas
The whole city is waiting for a secret,
He slumbers in the crystal hoarfrost
Waiting for the magic to happen.

Blizzards took over him
Similar to a dream.
In cathedrals, the flutter of candles and singing,
And incense silvery smoke.

There will be miracles
So easily, in the crowd of passers-by,
And suddenly they look like music
Human voices will become.

Here comes Christmas again

Here comes Christmas again
The triumph of heavenly forces:
On this day Christ came
To save our world from evil.

Glory to Him forever
The conqueror of darkness.
Congratulations with all my heart
With this great joy.

bethlehem yard

Boy-God in a manger was born
Among donkeys, lambs.
And lit up with a star
Bethlehem courtyard and garden.

And the gray donkey thought,
Looking into the baby's eyes:
“He came with goodness and faith,
Compassion and kindness!”

A lazy puppy
Peeped from the kennel
How the magi came from the East,
They brought their gifts.

miracle of miracles

Suddenly flew to the tree
A flock of bullfinches
The tree turned red immediately
From living fires.

On her hairy branches,
Instead of tinsel
Hoarfrost will shave off the net,
Snow globes.

And the crown - the star shines,
Miracle of miracles!
Christmas, friends, meets
Primordial forest.

On this day, anything can happen. Poems for Christmas carry only kindness and joy. Such works can tell the kids about the history of such a magnificent holiday. It is so rich and exciting that the child will not be able to tear himself away from such a story. After all, it all looks like a lovely fairy tale. Also, it is worth noting that thanks to such poems you will tell your child about the faith that is inherent in every person. Faith is the strongest feeling that a person has throughout his life. You can tell your child that if you believe in a miracle very strongly, then miracles will happen to him at every step. It is this feeling that helps a person move on, even if at the moment everything is very difficult. The child can be taken to the church and told in detail about the icons that are in it. Children love art, and icons are unsurpassed masterpieces that are very rich in their history.

Christmas is celebrated in winter, when the whole earth is covered with snow-white snow. It sparkles in the sun with multi-colored paints, which is very fascinating to look at. This holiday means that you need to decorate your home as brightly and beautifully as possible. Also, you can tell your child why the tradition of a coniferous wreath on the door began, and also why exactly 12 dishes should be on the table. It all looks like a fairy tale. The child simply will not be able to tear himself away from your story. Thus, you will tell the little man a piece of a very important story that everyone should know. The kid will be happy to learn poems for Christmas and tell them to everyone he meets, wishing him all the best.

Unfortunately, we have begun to forget that miracles exist and happen. Such holidays allow you to remind yourself that you should not lose faith and rejoice at every little thing. Such poems are filled with love, kindness and faith in beauty. Thus, the child subconsciously distinguishes between good and bad. Also, on such a holiday, you can tell your child that you need to help people with at least a word. You need to share your joy and cheerful mood with others and help everyone who needs help.

You should tell your child about the importance of being a kind and sympathetic person. After all, good deeds always come back doubly. Tell your child that someday he will also need help, and there will be such a person who will want to help him. The modern world has changed somewhat, and people have begun to forget that kindness is the most important factor in human relations. You need to tell your baby that Jesus once sacrificed his life for the sake of all mankind. He gave each of us a chance at life. You need to be grateful for this, and try to bring good to everyone around you. It brings people together and helps to gain faith that everything will be fine.

Of course, for a child, the main factor in the holiday is preparation and gifts. Help the kid to decorate the house as he likes. Spend as much time with your child as possible on this day. Of course, you are working and trying to give the child the best, but you forget that attention and as much communication with parents as possible is very important for a little man. Spend the whole day together. Put everything aside and dedicate it to your family. Play snowball fights with your child, build a snowman, decorate the house, learn poems for Christmas together.

Go with your child to neighbors and relatives. Have the child recite the rhymes you have learned. Tell him that on such a day all desires and dreams will come true, if you really, really want it. Tell your child that you need help preparing for the holiday, he will be very happy to help you with this matter. And also, he will be very proud of himself for helping you in difficult times.

The feast of the Nativity of Christ is approaching. Poets from different countries have long dedicated their lines to this extraordinary day. Today we recall some of the most famous poems about Christmas.

That night the earth was in turmoil

A. Khomyakov

That night the Earth was in turmoil:
Shine of a big, outlandish star
Suddenly blinded the mountains and villages,
Cities, deserts and gardens.

And lionesses watched in the desert,
How, full of wondrous gifts,
The chariots moved silently,
Camels and elephants were important.

And in the brow of a large caravan,
With eyes fixed on the sky,
Three Magi in intricate turbans
Went to bow to someone.

And in the cave, where they did not go out all night
Torches, flashing and fumes,
There they saw lambs in a manger
Sleeping beautiful Child.

That night the whole creation was in agitation,
The birds sang in the midnight haze,
Proclaiming goodwill to all,
The coming of peace on earth.

God's tree

G. Heine

bright star rays
The blue sky is shining...
- Why, tell me, mom,
Brighter in the sky of stars shine
On Christmas night?
Like a tree in the mountains
Lit this midnight
And diamond lights
And the radiance of radiant stars
Is she all decorated?
- True, my son, in God's sky
On the night of the present saint
Christmas tree lit for the world
And full of wonderful gifts
For the family, she is human.
Look how bright the stars are
Shine the world there, far away:
Holy gifts shine in them -
For people - goodwill,
Peace and truth are for the earth.

Christmas

G. Longfellow

Around the Christmas haze.
Bells are ringing in the darkness
And with them in harmony the Words sound:

I felt like that day
Life in cities and villages
Combining, the call sounds:
"Peace on earth and happiness to all!"

The night is quiet

A. Fet

The night is quiet
On firm ground unsteady
The southern stars tremble.
Mother's eyes with a smile
Quiet looking into the manger.

No ears, no superfluous eyes,
Here the roosters crowed -
And for the angels in the highest
Shepherds praise God.

The manger quietly shines in the eyes,
Illuminated face of Mary.
Star choir to another choir
Hearing quivering pricked.

And above Him burns high
That star of distant countries;
With her are the kings of the East
Gold, myrrh and Lebanon.

Christmas

I. Kashevar

How cold it was that night
When He was born.
The whole world was in darkness and cold,
Like in water, immersed.

Shepherds called to each other
Fearing in the mountains of wolves,
In a deaf gorge on a halt
There was a caravan of Magi.

Let the blizzard circle all night
And falls asleep.
But in a manger, as if in a cradle,
Lays the Baby to the Mother.

For the first time air on earth
He breathed in with all his chest,
For the first time an ember in the ashes
Flashed into his eyes

And everything was quiet so that He -
Lord of the High Forces -
Here on earth Your first dream
Tasted as a child.

There are countries...

S. Nadson

There are countries where people have never known
No blizzards, no loose snows;
There only non-melting snow sparkle
Tops of granite ridges...

The flowers there are more fragrant, the stars are larger,
Brighter and more elegant spring
And the feathers of birds are brighter there, and warmer
There is a wave of the sea...

In such and such a country on a fragrant night,
Whispering laurels and roses

Christmas

Sasha Black

In a manger I slept on fresh hay
Quiet tiny Christ.
The moon, emerging from the shadows,
I stroked the flax of His hair ...

The bull breathed in the face of the Baby
And, rustling straw,
On a flexible knee
I looked around, breathing a little.

Sparrows through roof poles
They rushed to the manger in a crowd,
And the bull, clinging to the niche,
The blanket was wrinkled with his lip.

The dog, sneaking up to the warm leg,
Licked her secretly.
Everyone was more comfortable with a cat
In the manger to warm the Child sideways ...

Subdued white goat
Breathed on his forehead,
Just a stupid gray donkey
Helplessly pushed everyone:

"Look at the Child
Just a minute for me!”
And cried loudly
In pre-dawn silence...

And Christ, opening his eyes,
Suddenly parted the circle of animals
And with a smile full of affection,
Whispered: "Look quickly!"

Christmas

I. Brodsky

The star shone brightly from the sky.
The cold wind raked the snow into a snowdrift.
Rustling sand. The fire crackled at the entrance.

The smoke was like a candle. The fire curled up.
And the shadows got shorter
then suddenly longer. Nobody around knew
that the account of life will begin from this night.

The wolves have arrived. The baby was fast asleep.
Steep vaults surrounded the manger.
The snow swirled. White steam swirled.
The baby lay, and the gifts lay.

God is with us

V. Solovyov

In the darkness of centuries, that night has already receded,
When, tired of anger and anxiety,
The earth in the arms of the sky rested,
And in silence God was born with us.

And much is impossible now:
The kings no longer look at the sky,
And the shepherds do not listen in the wilderness,
How do angels talk about God?

But the eternal that was revealed that night, -
It is unbreakable by time
And the Word was born again in your soul,
Born before the manger long ago.

Yes, God is with us - not there, in the azure tent,
Not beyond countless worlds
Not in evil fire and not in stormy breathing,
And not in the sleeping memory of centuries.

He is here, now, in the midst of random vanity,
In the stream of muddy life anxieties,
You own the all-joyful secret:
Powerless evil! We are eternal: God is with us!

"And why are you, my stupid baby,
Nose pressed against the glass
Sitting in the dark and looking
In an empty frosty haze.

Come with me there
Where the star shines in the room
Where bright candles
balloons, gifts
Decorated Christmas tree in the corner!

“No, soon a star will light up in the sky.
She'll bring you here tonight
as soon as Christ is born
(Yes, yes, right to these places!
Yes, yes, right in this frost!),

To praise the Christ child.
And I have already seen the shepherds through the window!
I know where the barn is! I know where the ox is!
And the donkey walked along our street!

Star
(Christmas carol)

In the wide sky
In a starry bright round dance,
A wonderful star shines.
Everywhere she will cast a ray,
Where human grief groans, -
In villages, groves, cities.
The beam reaches the light
And peasant women, and queens,
And to the bird's nest.
He will slip into a rich house,
And not blowjob poor hut
The beam is magical never.
Everywhere brighter joy shines,
Where that stellar beam trembles,
And the trouble is not terrible there,
Where the star shines

carol

Kolya-kolya-kolyada -
Troubles - "No!", And happiness - "Yes!"
Happy New Year, Merry Christmas:
We wish you peace in the house,
And health, and goodness,
And warm heart!
Kolya-kolya-kolyada -
To troubles - “No!”, But to happiness “Yes !!!”

Christmas story

The holiday is based on the biblical story about the birth of the Son of God from the Virgin Mary.

During the reign of Augustus, a census decree was issued, according to which every citizen of the empire had to return to his hometown. Joseph is a descendant of David, so he must have been in Bethlehem on the days of the census. In anticipation of the birth of their son, Joseph and Mary were forced to make a perilous journey. The journey was long and dangerous, especially since it was time for the young woman to give birth.

Arriving in Bethlehem, the young couple did not find a place in any decent house. All they were offered was an old barn. It was there that the greatest of men appeared. The Savior of mankind came into this world quietly and inconspicuously.

However, this event did not go unnoticed. The sages of the East have been counting an important date for years. When the time came, they went a long way to make sure their calculations were correct and present gifts to the wonderful baby. The shepherds also came to congratulate Joseph and Mary on the birth of their son, the Star of Bethlehem showed them the way to the barn.

This story is one of the central Christmas poems for children that can be read online from our holiday selection.

About Christmas for children

We celebrate Christmas on January 7th. This is an important holiday for all Christians. The birth of Christ is considered one of the major religious events.

This great holiday is usually celebrated in the family circle. On Christmas night, all believers go to churches and offer fervent prayers to God for their loved ones.

The night before Christmas is called Christmas Eve. The name of this holiday is explained by the fact that in the old days this evening they cooked sochivo - wheat broth, which was seasoned with honey and nuts. The dish is lean (like all the dishes of the festive table), but unusually tasty. On this day, believers did not eat anything, and only with the appearance of the first star did they sit down at the table.

On Christmas Eve the whole family got together. The hostess prepared 12 Lenten dishes. On the Christmas table there should not have been anything meat, dairy and fat. The number of treats on the festive table corresponded to the number of Apostles. It was not customary to drink alcohol that evening.

Before eating the festive dishes, everyone had to say a prayer. On this wonderful evening, it was customary to talk only about good things, recalling the events that preceded the birth of the Messiah.

On the night before Christmas, even the children did not go to bed. They went from house to house and sang short Christmas carols. In return, they received treats or money. Adults also took part in Christmas performances. They dressed up as biblical heroes and went from house to house showing the Christmas story.

At Christmas, it is customary to put nativity scenes in churches. A nativity scene is such an exposition on which the holy family is represented. Mary is sitting, bending over the baby Jesus, Joseph is standing next to them, and in front of them are the wise men from the East, presenting gifts to the born Messiah. In the background are the shepherds who were the first to come to congratulate the young couple.

Christmas is a wonderful holiday that reminds us that there is always a place for a miracle in life. Sometimes events that take place quietly inconspicuously can have a great resonance in the future.

Merry Christmas!

Fairy tale Christmas shines
Unites with great faith,
The soul rejoices, but the heart trembles,
There will be a feast with a dear family.

There will be gifts, attention, congratulations,
And here is one of them I give in verse,
I wish you strength and patience on this holiday,
Do not know sadness and what fear is,

May the Lord bless you with many
Good and joy, success for all things,
Let him not be very strict with you,
May happiness in life be your destiny!

O wonder of wonders! It's done!
The Creator of the worlds Himself descended to earth,
And the Word of God became incarnate
From the Virgin to the age of ages!
We are celebrating the birth
Savior Christ.
And our heart is at ease
And happy lips!
Praise God for that mercy
which he gave us,
When in distant Bethlehem
He became a man.

Here comes Christmas again

On this day Christ came
To save our world from evil.

Blessed Virgin, Most Pure
Accepted the sorrow of the holy crown!
The heart beats for the son frantically -
The will of the Father is foreordained!

You, the Universe, Mother and Intercessor
She held the baby to her chest
And prayed to give strength to the Redeemer,
To carry everything that lies ahead!

Mother of God, Virgin, rejoice,
On the night of this holy celebration!
For centuries in the heart of everyone will remain,
Your image and the baby Christ!

Magi are coming from the East to Palestine
They bring gifts to the King of kings.
Friends, let's put aside the whole routine
And all the affairs of ordinary days.
Let's follow the example of magicians
And bring gifts
Great Creator and God,
Creator of the worlds!
Let our gifts be
Good deeds!
Do good to all God's people -
Give them warmth.

seventh date of january
So rich in goodness and faith,
We can't get away from her.
Her soul is infinitely glad,

Number of the birth of Christ
And he gave us salvation
I hasten to congratulate you
All the best in a poem!

The night subsided, and in the sky someone stars -
Like lamps, it lights up.
In the church, the choir sings without stopping,
This night is mysteriously holy.
People, forget your tears!
Now joy - Today Christ was born,
Today, the shepherds with the Magi listen,
The maiden's hands embrace the all-embracing,
The incapable is accommodated by a manger with hay,
God the Creator from Mary incarnated!

It's my birthday today
The Lord Christ.
To him the praise of singing
Mouths are filled.

Our children's hearts
Living house for the Spirit -
Like the manger of Bethlehem
We give to Christ.

Like green Christmas trees
We want to live forever
And, saved by the Lord,
Always serve Him.

Soon, soon Christmas
Just hurry up -
There will be a celebration in the house,
The tree is sparkling!

Prepare our outfits
For a wonderful holiday.
We will all be very happy
Celebration of Heaven.

On this day, cheerful, bright -
Laughter and songs! Whole cart
Children will bring gifts
Good Santa Claus!

And on the wall is a calendar
Smiling strangely.
He has October
Sad does not end.

Soon, soon Christmas
Just hurry up -
There will be a celebration in the house,
The tree is sparkling!

The joyful holiday has come -
People, have fun
open up your heart
Smile boldly.
For this holy night
There is no grief, no trouble,
Keeps everyone warm
Light of the Divine Star!

Boy-God in a manger was born
Among donkeys, lambs.
And lit up with a star
Bethlehem courtyard and garden.

And the gray donkey thought,
Looking into the baby's eyes:
“He came with goodness and faith,
Compassion and kindness!”

A lazy puppy
Peeped from the kennel
How the magi came from the East,
They brought their gifts.

Star (Christmas Carol)
In the wide sky
In a starry bright round dance,
A wonderful star shines.
Everywhere she will cast a ray,
Where human grief groans, -
In villages, groves, cities.
The beam reaches the light
And peasant women, and queens,
And to the bird's nest.
He will slip into a rich house,
And not blowjob poor hut
The beam is magical never.
Everywhere brighter joy shines,
Where that stellar beam trembles,
And the trouble is not terrible there,
Where the star shines

On this day we speak
About the birth of Christ.
On this day they cannot be silent
Our children's lips.

And hearts want to praise
Not silent for a moment.
Praise God with us!
Don't be silent - He is great.

Christmas
With the whole family this evening
Let's gather at the table.
Mom will say:
- Candles maybe?
Let's light it up for the holidays, shall we?
Let's turn off the electricity
We'll do without him.
And solemnly decorate
Shared dinner
On Christmas.
May the fire be cheerful
galloping
Over a crimson candle
A candlestick
Quietly crying
Stearic tear.

Short congratulations in verses Merry Christmas

During this holy season, I want to wish you all
so that happiness can be seen in every house,
so that laughter flows like a stream - pure children's laughter,
May love and virtue overcome sin!

Merry Christmas, wonderful
Congratulations from the bottom of my heart!
In the expanses of heaven
The asterisk floats in silence.

Despite the winter cold, the soul is warm,
because in distant Bethlehem the sun has risen!
God descended to our land, became a man,
and gave to His faithful creatures the key to Life.

It snows at Christmas
falls like the grace of God.
Snow is falling - and magic
it might happen that day.

Here come the wise men from the east, they bring gifts to God.
Bring your gift to the Newborn Christ!
Help everyone who is alone now, warm, caress, calm down,
and in the depths of the frozen soul peace and love will settle again.

Christ is born - praise! Christ has come - welcome!
And glorify the Infant with an angelic song!

Beautiful poems for Christmas

Beautiful snowflakes fall from heaven
Frost paints our cheeks pink
On the 7th of January, people congratulate everyone,
Today the sun is a hundred times brighter

For the day of Christmas is before us,
Our beloved holiday, our holy holiday,
We read prayers in hands with candles,
And let heaven hear us with you.

And from myself I add hunting,
More health, success in everything,
So that in the joy of a loved one there would be care,
And let only happiness knock on your house!

And we're celebrating Christmas again
And we decorate the Christmas tree with a garland,
And we look out the window with anticipation,
And such a day - both warm and rainy.
And instead of snowfall - again rain,
A sad beggar knocks on the window ...
Well, where is the snow, ruddy frost,
And the ice is sparkling? Where? At least a little!
Nature is crying... But tell me why?
Not from the fact that a rich Christmas tree
No called orphans and old people?
With the sick, the poor, we are indifferently chopping.
Our God was born in a beggarly manger,
In a cave, among poor cattle...
And we? Where are we? We are with Him or at the door
The jubilant King Herod?

THERE ARE COUNTRIES
S. Nadson

There are countries where people have never known
No blizzards, no loose snows;
There only non-melting snow sparkle
Peaks of granite ridges -
The flowers there are more fragrant, the stars are larger,
Brighter and more elegant spring
And the feathers of birds are brighter there, and warmer
The sea wave breathes there -
In such and such a country on a fragrant night,
Whispering laurels and roses
The desired miracle happened firsthand:
The Christ Child was born.
Holiday for adults and children
Songs about Christ are not all sung,
This is not the last verse about Him,
And His radiant precepts
They will not be extinguished among the sons of men.
He, like us, walked under the starry sky
And I talked to people more than once,
He is now both children and adults
Understands. Understands us.
On this holiday we will celebrate again:
Our Savior and Friend was in the world,
To give happiness to adults and children,
Save from sin and eternal torment.
Those who have not yet lived in the world,
Also those who have lived many days,
Sing, brothers and sisters! Sing children!
This is a holiday for adults and children!

Christmas
Winter day. Treasured holiday.
Let the January frost be angry, -
He, like a disguised prankster,
He came to visit us again.

The doors were flung open,
There was a fuss.
Everyone who believes and does not believe
Praise the Christ boy.

Elders, straightening their shoulders,
They grunt approvingly.
day and night twisted candles
They burn before the image.

Lives before our eyes
Russian fairy tales magic.
Everything rejoices and plays -
Hello holiday - Christmas!
