Pentair's K520 Series AquaMatic composite valves are designed to control flows when processing deionized water, as well as acids, caustic chemicals or heavy gases, i.e. those environments that cause accelerated corrosion of metal valves.
The K520 series valve closes or opens by applying hydraulic or pneumatic pressure to the upper diaphragm chamber. The control pressure must be equal to or greater than the pipeline pressure. The valve opens, releasing pressure from the upper chamber of the diaphragm, while line pressure under the seat opens the valve. The unique Aquamatic ® Y-design minimizes pressure loss in the valve. The K520 series valve body and cover are molded from glass-filled thermoplastic Noril. The separation of the chambers of the working and control fluids ensures reliable and hermetically sealed shutoff of the flow. The double ring gasket on the rod prevents leaks between the cavities of the working and control fluids.
K520 Series valves are available in four various sizes, from 1/2-inch to 2-1/2-inch. The variety of connectors available makes the valve compatible with 3/8" to 3" pipe sizes.
Application:
Water treatment.
Irrigation systems.
Chemical dosing systems.
Sandblasting equipment.
Liquid level control systems.
Washing and bleaching installations.
Steam production.
Desalination plants.
Recovery systems.
Equipment for molding plastics.
Fertilizer spray systems.

End connections of various configurations have connection diameters from 20 mm to 72 mm (optional).

GE Water & Process Technologies (USA) is an industrial leader in the production of special valves, controllers and switchgear of the AquaMatic series for controlling fluid flows in various industrial installations.

AquaMatic series products are reliable, easy to maintain and have low operating costs.

The AquaMatic device includes the following elements:

  • diaphragm valves,
  • stager,
  • controller,
  • injectors.

Aquamatic valves Available in a wide range of connection sizes from 3/4" to 6" in metal or corrosion-resistant materials. Designed to ensure closure of water flows.

They feature high flow rates with low pressure losses.

Advantages:

  • the recommended valve control pressure is equal to the water pressure in the pipeline;
  • the diaphragm does not come into contact with the liquid;
  • internal parts are changed without disconnecting the valve from the pipeline;
  • the ability to control the valve with an isolated pressure source;
  • the ability to control the valve with air pressure;
  • The shape and material of the membrane ensure a long service interval.

Stager AquaMatic- rotary pilot valve of multiport design, designed to control diaphragm valves.

Replaces the three way solenoid valve. The control medium is liquid or air (does not require electricity).

Used in conjunction with AquaMatic valves wide range additional products, such as switchgear and controllers, which are selected in accordance with the Customer's requirements. Switchgears control the opening and closing of each valve, and controllers operate them. These devices automatically control the operation of valves in technological scheme water purification.
