The water entering the Sirio must not contain any solids and / or other substances that could clog the non-return valve built into the device. To prevent this from happening, it is recommended to install special filters on the pressure line of the pump.
To limit the number of restarts caused by minor leaks (typical for most systems), install a small accumulator after Sirio (1-2 liters). The pressure in the tank must correspond to the specified settings of the device.
This will also help ensure smooth operation in systems with high water consumption (eg dishwashers, washroom drains, etc.).
Under no circumstances should a non-return valve be installed between the Sirio and the pump or between the device and the source of consumption, as this leads to malfunctions in the system. If the unit is used with submersible pumps, it is possible to install a check valve upstream of the inverter, provided that the valve is at least 3 meters away from the inverter.
It is also necessary to install a non-return valve on the pump flow pipe in order to prevent it from draining when the pump is turned off.
