And already on the spot organized by the United units, where, for obvious reasons, often there was often no agreed and clear interaction between the commanders and personal separation. Add here not the newest equipment and, most importantly, is a severe political, economic situation in the country at a turning point of history. And then, our people, however, as always, showed courage and heroism. The feats of soldiers in Chechnya are affected by the level of concentration of forces and courage.

In January 1995, tank workers under the command of Senior Lieutenant Achpashev covered motorized rifle parts and knocked out militants from fortifications in urban battle in Grozny. The key position of militants was the building of the Council of Ministers of Chechnya. Igor Achpashev, applying fire and tactical actions, broke through his tank to the building, destroyed the main fighter points of militants, provided the road to the landing group and motorized rifles. But the shooting of the militants stopped from the grenade launcher, Dudayevtsy surrounded the tank. Ahpashev continued the battle in the burning tank and died as the hero - the sleeve was restored.

Lebedev Alexander Vladislavovich, 1977-2000

Senior intelligence officer of airborne forces. Born in the Pskov region, grew up without mother, her father raised her three children. Rybak Alexey Leonidovich, 1969-2000

Maidanov Nikolai (Cairgeldy) Sainovich, 1956-2000

Senior pilot, commander of a transport and combat helicopter regiment. Born in Western Kazakhstan, in a large family. The army worked on the elevator, on a brick factory. After passing the term service, he entered the Higher Aviation School in Saratov. Nikolay Maidanov participated in hostilities in Afghanistan in the eighties. There, in Afghanistan, the young pilot of the Maidanov began to apply a special tactical tactics of helicopters.

Maidanov used "aircraft" overclocking techniques for a helicopter, and risky as it should throw a flying car down. Tagin Vladimir Aleksandrovich, 1974-2000

Forces were not equal: First, there is one machine, then the other ... The militants took shooting into the ring. Hinged behind the big stones, individual members of the group were defended at about an hour, rarely shot, saved cartridges. This is a group of policemen, practically bumping the road, gave time and helped to raise servicemen at the station. It was a terrible fight - the place of the sleeves, the funnels from the grenade, the snow in the blood ... later, captured under the argument, the militant told how they were defended near the burning tank our soldiers. And as the last of the survivors, Vladimir Tagin, when the cartridges ended, the whole bloody, with a knife in his hand, rushed into the last fight with militants ... The fighter told that he was a terrible and brave, like a bear, this Russian.

Vladimir Alexandrovich Togin is buried in Khabarovsk, at the Central Cemetery. The title of Hero of Russia received in 2000, posthumously.

I wrote only about some heroes, they all awarded a high rank posthumously. All of them are my contemporaries and could, like me, and the rest, live, love, work, educate children. And the children of these strong spirit of people would also be strong. But then their life turned. I will not half aim about what was fought and who it was necessary. Each of them in a certain situation, when they had a debt, honor, friendship, love for his homeland, did not strengthen and did not hide. For me, all of them are primarily men who are capable of acting, strong and courageous, capable of protecting their mothers, children, their land. This is or there or not. We need to talk more about themselves and about their exploits to the new generation of boys.

When I wrote this material, I felt alternately, the pain for the broken young life, then the pride for the fact that these men are my contemporaries, inhabitants of my country, brave and strong people.

The hardest battle lasted about a day. The commander Dmitry Vorobyov showed his subordinate an example of courage and courage. What time did it manage to fight back with the support of artillery. At night, ammunition began to end, the situation became critical, the militants went to the next attack. And then the commander accepted the decision of the breakthrough to the bridge with the group. The powerful rally of artillery introduced militants to temporary confusion, Vorobyov raised his fighters into the attack.
