Step-by-step instructions for self-correcting a network error without Internet access. If all attempts of the user were unsuccessful. Correction of virus errors of automatic connection

Let's analyze the problematic situation when the phone connects to Wi-Fi, but there is no Internet. It looks like this: next to the name of the wireless network it says "Connected", but when you try to open any site in the browser, you get an error Web-page is unavailable or 404 Not found... Chrome still writes in such cases. The same applies to other software - all kinds of programs that use the Internet connection for their work, or at least check for updates at startup, will also give an error connecting to their web server.

In this article, we will share in detail how to fix the internet problem on your computer, phone or tablet. Read carefully, follow all the steps and you will surely find the reason why you do not have an Internet connection with a working Wi-Fi connection.

Gathering information about the problem

Before making any changes to the Wi-Fi settings of your router, computer or phone, check the following points. This can make it easier to find the reason for the lack of Internet or narrow down your search:

  • Has the Internet been paid for and have you run out of funds on your account?
  • is there a wire access to the Internet from a stationary computer?
  • is it possible to access the Internet via Wi-Fi from other devices that use the same Wi-Fi router?
  • does the Internet connection problem remain when connecting to another Wi-Fi networks?

Depending on the answers to these questions, it may already become more or less clear to you what the problem is most likely. For example:

  • if there is no Internet at all - neither by wire nor by Wi-Fi, then the reason may be both the blocking of access on the side of the provider, and a malfunction of the router. Next, we check with the provider if everything is in order with the line and account, and then we check the router's performance.
  • if the Internet is on the PC via a wire, but not on any device via Wi-Fi, then the problem most likely lies in the wireless settings of the router. The same conclusion can be made if the Internet appears and works without problems as soon as you connect to another Wi-Fi network from the same device.
  • and if it turns out that all devices are in order, and only one does not have an Internet connection, then the problem is obvious in this "client".

Wi-Fi is connected, but the Internet is not working. What to do?

So, if your Wi-Fi is really "connected", but there is no Internet (sites do not load, Skype and Viber do not connect, a yellow network icon is displayed on the laptop with the notification "No Internet access"), follow these steps to fix the problem. The steps are listed with a probability factor.

1. Reboot the router

Sometimes the unexplained happens router crash ... At the same time, the local network and Wi-Fi are working normally, but there is no Internet access. This can happen when very long-term work router without reboots and when the provider's network changes. Just in case: it is written how to reboot D-Link remotely.

2. Reboot the device where there is no Internet connection (phone, laptop)

Sometimes on a smartphone (tablet, laptop) a certain crash (glitch) which can cause a similar problem. Visually, everything seems to be fine, but there is no Internet for no apparent reason. In order to exclude such a failure, restart the device.

3. Reconnect to Wi-Fi network

This step is very important, despite its simplicity and triviality at first glance. You need to forget the Wi-Fi network, and then connect to it again by entering the password (security key). This may solve the problem and restore the Internet connection, for example, if network settings have been changed user or virus.

4. Set the correct date on your Android device

Invalid date may be the cause of the internet problem. In this case, the sites will open, but Antiviruses may not work, Google play Market, etc. ...

5. Disable the proxy server

If your computer or Android device a proxy server is turned on, there may also be a situation when Wi-Fi is connected, but there is no Internet. Usually this problem occurs on Android.

6. Check the Internet connection settings on the router

Go to the WAN or Internet settings on the router. (). Check to be specified correct parameters connectivity , such as the:

  • type of connection with the provider (see the contract or on the provider's website);
  • login and password, if required (see the agreement);
  • whether the MAC address is correct (check in the agreement. If you reset the router, you may have to go to the office of the Internet provider with your passport and agreement and ask to register the new MAC address of the WAN port of the router).

If your provider uses a PPTP connection, and your router settings are lost and now IPoE (dynamic IP) is selected instead of PPTP, then of course the router will not be able to connect to the Internet. In this case, sites will not open on any device.

7. Change the wireless channel

Wireless equipment that is in the neighborhood and operates on adjacent channels can create interference your router. Try changing the Wi-Fi channel.

Better yet, check first which channels are freer. This can be done using the Android app or InSSIDer for Windows.

8. Install WPA2-PSK + AES encryption for your Wi-Fi network

The WPA2-PSK encryption algorithm is the most secure. And AES encryption will ensure high speed and security. Most devices, even not new ones, successfully work in WPA2-PSK mode with the AES algorithm.

Wi-Fi is connected, but the Internet is not working: other causes of the problem

Weak signal

If the distance from the client device to the router is too far, there may also be such a problem: the device received an IP address, but there is no Internet. Therefore, first you need to check if the Internet appears when you approach the router (if it is possible to get closer). Then - if the problem is precisely the distance - somehow try to shorten it. If the router is yours, place it in the middle of the house.

Some organizations provide free Wi-Fi, but in order to be allowed on the Internet, you need to launch a browser, enter a password, or go through some other authorization procedure. For example, indicate the phone number and enter the code from the SMS. It is better not to contact such networks and do not enter any information about yourself in order to avoid problems. It is much easier to find another access point without such nuances.

If you've done everything and still don't have an active Wi-Fi internet connection, there is another option: set up a static IP address. This method is not a solution in the full sense of the word, but in some cases it helps to bypass the problem and gain access to the Internet. To do this, on your smartphone, call the properties of the connection to the Wi-Fi network, check the box Show Extra options and select Static IP:

I hope this guide helped you identify and fix the problem with the Internet connection and now all your devices are connected to the network, both by wire and wireless. Please write your questions and additions to the article in the comments.

The scary moment when your computer connects to Wi-Fi, but the Internet does not work. Unfortunately, there is no single solution to this problem, as the error may be related to the settings of the operating system or the router.

We have compiled step by step guide to help you fix the problem.

Where to look?

If you are faced with the problem "no access to the Internet" then you need to look at:

  • Router
  • The device with the problem

If the Internet does not work on all devices connected to the Wi-Fi network, then most likely the problem is with your router / modem. You can also look at the Ethernet cable to make sure it isn't broken or twisted.

If the Internet does not work only on the computer, while other devices connect perfectly to the wireless Wi-Fi network, then the problem is with the Wi-Fi adapter of the computer or again with the router that cannot connect to the computer.

To fix the "No Internet Access" problem, you can follow the following nine steps. So, let's begin.

1. Restart your computer and router

Yes, I know it sounds silly, but most problems are solved with a simple reboot.

A good reboot is the solution to many problems with software and network connection. Turn off your router (s) and wait 30 seconds before turning it back on. In addition, you must restart your computer to ensure that it is also working properly. When all devices are restarted, try connecting again.

2. Check the signal indicators on the router

It is possible that the problem is with your internet connection and not with your computer. To confirm, you need to check the LED on the router and make sure it is on.

Ideally, the LEDs on the router should be on in green and the Wi-FI indicator should be blinking. If you are unsure about this, please contact your internet service provider's customer support.

3. Use the built-in troubleshooter

If your ISP claims that the internet is working properly, then there is most likely a problem with the WiFi adapter on your device. This can be easily fixed with the built-in troubleshooter that is available by default on Windows.

Windows' built-in network troubleshooter can solve or at least report most network problems. Right-click the network icon in the taskbar and select " Troubleshooting". Windows will start looking for the problem and how to fix it. If the system cannot fix them, it will let you know what the problem is. After that, you can find a solution on the Internet, or ask in the comments below, we will try to help you.

4. Flush DNS

Sometimes a bug in the DNS cache can lead to problems accessing websites and you might think that the internet is down. In this case, you need to flush the DNS.

Click on the menu " Start"And enter" cmd". Next open command line as administrator.

A command prompt window will open where you must enter “ ipconfig / flushdns»And press the enter key ( Enter). This command will clear the DNS cache.

5. Change the wireless mode on your router

If your computer can access the Internet, when you connect the Ethernet cable directly, while through Wi-Fi internet does not work, then the problem may be wireless.

The routers support multiple wireless modes. For example, you may have seen characters such as 802.11 b or 802.11 b / g or 802.11 b / g / n etc. So, b, g, n and ac are different wireless standards. B is the oldest WiFi standard that covers a smaller area and offers lower data rates, while AC is the latest WiFi standard with wider coverage and 1Gbps network speed.

Generally, most people use wireless mode 802.11 b / g / n /... But sometimes old devices (especially old smartphones) do not work with this mode, so they connect to Wi-Fi, but there is no internet.

One of the ways to fix this problem is to enter the router's control panel through a computer, then find the section Wireless mode... It is usually found in the settings wireless network (Wireless), where you set the name and password for the Wi-FI network. Next to wireless mode, you will see a drop-down menu, click on it, select 802.11 b and save your changes. Now restart Wi-Fi on devices that could not connect to the Internet and check if the problem was resolved. If the internet still doesn't work, try 802.11g wireless mode. If you are still out of luck, then look for a solution to your problem further.

6. Automatic acquisition of IP and DNS

If your smartphone or computer connects to a different Wi-Fi network, but does not work with your wireless network, there is a possibility of a DNS or IP address conflict. You can check this by pinging your router via cmd. If you get a time out response, then most likely an IP address conflict.

Ideally, you should configure your network settings to automatically obtain the IP address and DNS provided by your ISP. This ensures the least amount of conflicts. However, sometimes assigning a static IP address or changing the DNS server can help resolve problems with Internet access. Conversely, if you are using a static IP, then it would be wise to get the IP automatically. In short, try changing your settings and see if you can fix your internet connection problem.

To obtain an IP address automatically in Windows, press the keys Windows + R and enter " ncpa.cpl"In the Run dialog box that opens. When you click " OK”, All your network connections will open. Right click on your network and select " Properties»In the context menu.

Now select " IPversion 4", and press " Properties"Under it. In the next dialog box, select an option: " Obtain an IP address automatically" and " Obtain DNS server address automatically". Restart your computer and check your Internet access.

7. Problems with the network driver

Sometimes the problem with accessing the internet is the old network driver. To update network driver on the computer, press the keys Window + R and enter " devmgmt.msc". You will open the window " Device Manager».

In the menu on the left, expand the " Network adapters»And right click on your network. Now select the option “ Update Drivers”, And you will receive two options for updating the driver: manually and automatically (online).

Try connecting your computer to your router using an Ethernet cable to access the Internet. If the connection is established, click " Automatic search updated drivers”, And Windows will automatically find and install the correct driver.

In case you cannot connect to the Internet via an Ethernet cable, you will have to manually download the latest driver from the manufacturer's website from another device, and then transfer it to a computer without Internet access. Then select the option “ Search for drivers on your computer"To manually install the latest drivers.

8. Reset router to factory settings

This is a pretty tough option, but in most cases it will solve all router problems. You can reset your router to factory settings. This fixes the problem with Internet access. It also means that you will have to reset the basic settings, password and other network parameters.

You can reset your router to factory settings by pressing the reset button on the router itself. Usually the reset button is hidden inside a tiny hole, so you'll need a ballpoint pen or toothpick. Press and hold the button for 5-15 seconds until all lights start flashing.

9. Call your ISP

If none of the methods helped solve your problem with Internet access, then you should let your ISP. They will hold a consultation by phone, and if there is such a need, they will send the master to your home.

Summarizing

As I said before, there is no single way to solve the problem with access to the Internet. The above tips should help you fix most of the software related problems. However, if the problem with accessing the Internet is related to the hardware of the computer - for example, a broken network card or router - then you will have to turn to experienced specialists.

One of the most common situations that I have to face in my practice is when a user has the Internet connected, but does not work. Why is this happening?!
The first thing to start looking for a solution to the problem is to reboot all devices associated with access to the Internet - a router, a computer, etc. Very often this is the result of a small malfunction in one of them and is solved by a simple restart. If it doesn't help, read on!

So, the Internet does not work for you. How are you connected to it? As a rule, in most cases, the connection is organized via a Wi-Fi router, then see if its Internet access indicator is on or not. For example, on D-Link routers, it is made in the form of a globe, but on most devices it is simply signed as the Internet.

Does not burn? Check the router settings and, if everything is in order with them, call technical support your provider.
But if the indicator is friendly, it means the connection is successful. Check access from other devices - from a tablet, phone or laptop. So you can find out from which side it is worth looking for the cause of the problem. Such cases, when a router connects to the global web and at the same time does not distribute the Internet to connected devices, happens once in a thousand. Usually they are associated with a malfunction in its operation and are treated by resetting the settings to the factory settings, followed by a complete reconfiguration. More often it happens that there is no access from only one of the computers, while everything works fine for others. Then you need to look for the "root of evil" already on it.

If you are connected to mobile internet via a USB modem or WiFi module connected to the USB port, then try disconnecting and reconnecting it. Doesn't help - switch the gadget to an adjacent free port. Windows will reinstall the drivers and it will be possible to check again whether access has appeared or not.

Diagnosing Internet Connection in Windows 10

If the Internet is connected on your computer or laptop but does not work and you are sure that the reason lies in incorrect settings, then it is worth performing a few simple operations. Let's start by pinging some popular site. To do this, press the key combination Win + R so that the "Run" window appears:

In the "Open" line, type the command cmd... Click on the "OK" button to open the command line window. We type the command:

ping yandex.ru

If you don't like Yandex - you can specify Google instead. Press the "Enter" key and see the result. If everything is in order, then you will receive approximately the following response from the server:

If you get a response like this:

Then we type another command:

Ping 77.88.8.8

This is the IP address of Yandex's public DNS server, which is always available. Alternatively, you can ping the server from Google - 8.8.8.8. If the PC has access to an external network, then the answer should be like this:

If the host pings by IP, and the sites do not open at the same time, then this usually means that the Internet is connected but does not work due to the fact that the DNS server address is not registered (or incorrectly spelled out) in the network card settings. I will tell you how to do this below.

If you see the following answer:

Then it's worth checking if the router is available. To do this, you also need to ping it. You can see which IP-address is used on it on a sticker located usually at the bottom of the case. Usually it is either or. I have a D-Link router and it uses the second option:

If the router pings, but the host is not on the Internet, then the reason is most likely again in the router or in its settings.
But if the router is also unavailable, this is a reason to delve into the configuration of the network adapter on the computer. But before that, try disabling your antivirus and firewalls, as very often they are the cause of most of the network problems.

It didn’t help and the Internet is still connected but doesn’t work ?! Well, then press the key combination Win + R again so that the "Run" window appears and enter the command ncpa.cpl.
If everything was done correctly, then the network window should appear. Windows connections 10:

Right-click on the connection icon and select "Properties" from the menu. In the window that appears, double-click on the line "IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4)" to get into the protocol parameters:

Here we try to set the automatic receipt of addresses and again check the access to the global web.
Doesn't work anyway? Then we tick the box "Use the following addresses":

You need to register an IP address from the subnet of your router. If it has an IP of 192.168.0.1, then set the computer to 192.168.0.2. If 192.168.1.1 is used on the router, then the PC will have 192.168.1.2. Mask 255.255.255.0. As a gateway, you must specify the address of the router. List it as your preferred DNS server. Alternative DNS server can be specified from Yandex 77.88.8.8 or from Google - 8.8.8.8.

As a rule, after this, Internet access appears. If none of the advice helped you, then I am afraid that it is necessary to call a professional specialist who can determine the cause of the problem and can eliminate it. Good luck to all!

By default, from a laptop or computer when using a Wi-Fi connection, the Internet and the network should connect automatically. The user does not have to think about what and where to include, as when working with a wired Internet.

Here, one of the main advantages of this connection is the ability to turn on from the first second, without waiting.

But it also happens that it was not possible to automatically connect to the proxy server. What it looks like and what to do simple beginner in the internet community in this case. The reason for this problem is hidden in the settings for connecting to the proxy server. You could change them:

  • accidentally - by a combination of keys, or in case of a sudden blackout (in the absence of an uninterruptible power supply), etc.;
  • due to a virus - very often settings fail due to an incompletely removed malware (software).

What do proxy connection errors look like?

The complexity of such problems is that with the Internet connected, which will look like it is turned on in the command line, and even torrents will work and Skype may work, but it will become impossible to start working in any window. It will open but not load. Everywhere it will be written that there is no connection to the proxy server.

The signature can be in English, in Russian. Only one tab or different browsers may not open. Or maybe such an error occurs in all browsers.

There is no connection to the proxy server, which just means that somewhere the automatic connection to the network is broken, which does not require human intervention.

No connection to the server

An important note - automatic connection problems have nothing to do with the operating system (OS). Therefore, there can be no problems here. The difference will be small only in fixing such a problem on different operating systems -7, or 8, or 10.

In this case, the main thing is not to hysteria, not to say that repairs will cost a lot of money. And it is not necessary, in a fit of imbalance and with a hot head, to start with:

  1. Reinstallation of the browser (s);
  2. Reinstalls the entire OS.

Fixing a connection error using the Chrome browser as an example

To fix proxy connection errors in any browser, the first thing a user should find is simple Settings.

After clicking the button, a window with settings opens. However, not all of them may be displayed. Therefore, the user needs to look at the window, and if there is nothing with the signature of the proxy server, click the Change proxy server settings button. Then the user will see on the screen a window in which you should already choose to change the Internet settings.

It will automatically open on the connection parameter (if not, you need to select it) and then click the button - Network settings.

After that, in a new window, the user should check the box for automatic detection of parameters and press ok to fix the connection.

And then the apply button is pressed and you can check the error correction. Mozilla works in a similar way. But the end of the procedure is slightly different. Through Settings, there are Advanced, then Networks and there you select Configure. Be sure to select the item WITHOUT PROXY. It will be better this way.

Fixes via browser properties

After the user has corrected the network disconnect settings in all browsers, you need to refresh the connection through Windows. For this, the following sequence of actions is performed:

  1. Browser properties are selected via Start and Control Panel.
  2. In the new window that appears, the automatic connection to the proxy is selected again (the window will be one-to-one, as when corrected in Google Chrome). And changes are accepted.

Checking your internet connection

And now you can try to correct the automatic connection to networks using the tools available in the OS. To do this, select Start, then Control Panel and Network Control Center.

Network Control Center

Then you need to select - change adapter settings. Then there you will need to move the mouse to the shortcut "connect by local network"and select properties after right-clicking.

In the connection to the local network, in the Networks tab, check the box or select the line Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP / IPv4)... And, as always, click OK.

Then you need to make this line active with the connection, stand on it, and click the Properties button, which is just below. A new window will appear. Both IP and DNS addresses must be automatically selected in it.

Just in case, you can also run the following phrase through the command line - ipconfig / flushdns. But this requires administrator rights.

Correction of virus errors of automatic connection

The situation will be worse if the automatic settings have failed due to a failure, blackout, or an incompletely cleaned virus. Then the computer will have to be "cured". Settings due to a virus can fail in two cases:

  1. After checking with antivirus;
  2. Due to a virus caught.

You can fix such errors with the same antivirus. But the program should be simpler so as not to intrude into the settings, for example, this AVZ.

In this program, you should select the restoration of system settings through the "File" and put all the checkmarks, exactly as in the figure below. Then you should click to perform the marked operations.

After that, you can load the browser again and try to see if the Internet pages open.

As for the anti-virus programs themselves, in this case it is better to use disposable scanners, without permanent installation on the computer. It can be:

  • Kaspersky remontal tool;
  • Dr.web

Registry cleaning - as an option for fixing auto-connection to the network

Another option to fix automatic connection is clean up registries.

In the operating line of the OS window, type HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ WindowsNT \ CurrentVersion \ Windows \

In the window that opens, you need to check the folder or file Appinit_DLLs. There should be nothing in it!

In version 10 of the OS, this file will be named AutoAdminLogan.

Everything possible options fixes of connection to the proxy server are enumerated. If all else fails, then you should call the wizard. It means that something more serious has happened to the computer than the settings that have flown off.

Connection failed error message - what to do?

Another problem with connecting to networks and working in in social networks... Very often, when loading sites on the Internet, an annoying window appears with the following content:

Connection failed error

The same error is very often referred to on the network as the connectionfailure error. Such inaccuracies should be remembered when searching. This is just that magical option, when you can enter some sites, but on others it beats out just such a mistake. There are probably no reasons for the virus. In most cases, this problem is caused by:

  1. Blocking firewall (denies access to the site or sites);
  2. Communication problem (there is no connection with the site yet);
  3. Antivirus automatically banned this site;
  4. The settings have been changed with your internet service provider.

To solve the problem with the firewall, you will have to turn the brandmauer on and off. In the case of blocking sites due to the enabled antivirus, you will have to disable such blocking on the antivirus. This is how it might look on Avast. All you need to do is update your antivirus to remove blocking links.

Updating signatures

And if there is no truth in any of the proposed options, then all that remains is to call the provider and find out if preventive work is being carried out somewhere. And there is such an option that they cut the wires in the yard or the user did not pay for the services.

Configuring network access and disconnection on Windows 7, 8, 10

Connecting a computer or laptop to the network can be done in two ways:

  • through a wired network;
  • over a wireless network using Wi-Fi.

But besides these nuances, there is also a type of operating system that needs to be taken into account. And if the seven and eight with modifications are similar to each other, then the top ten may have their own difficulties.

How to connect an Internet connection via wire cable and via a wireless network for Windows 7, very detailed and available officially published on the Windows website. You need to connect version 8 to the Internet in about the same way.

Thus, the user will not be confused and not lost if the computer suddenly starts cursing about inaccessible pages. It will be enough to first try all of the above methods on your own, and only then go to the workshop.

Today we are all heavily dependent on the Internet. And when it doesn’t work, panic immediately begins, the heart sinks and life seems meaningless. Maybe you find it funny, but for some it really is.

The user is especially lost when the Internet is connected but not working. Today I will tell you why this happens and what to do if this happens to your network.

Why is the internet not working?

If you have an Internet connection, but it does not work, the first step is to find the cause of the problem. To do this, you need to reboot all devices that are associated with access to the Internet. This refers to a router, computer and so on. Most often, such a reboot completely solves all problems with the Internet, and it starts working properly. If after restarting the router and the computer, you did not receive the expected result, proceed to the next "treatment" procedures.

Today, most often the Internet is connected via a Wi-Fi router. If you also have it, then you need to check whether the Internet access indicator on the router is on or not. For those users who use a TP-Link router, the internet signal is marked with a globe icon. On other routers, this signal is most often signed "Internet".

If the indicator is off, you need to check the router settings. If everything is normal with them, then we call the technical support of our provider and ask why there is no Internet, maybe just repairing the highway or network.

But, if the indicator is on, then there is a connection and the provider is not to blame. Check internet access on other devices. It doesn't matter what it will be - a phone, tablet or other laptop. That way, you can figure out which direction to dig next to solve the problem. I will say right away that the case when a router is connected to the Internet, which is obviously good for a worker, but at the same time does not distribute it to other devices, is considered a very rare case. The reason for this problem lies in router failures. It is not difficult to fix it. You need to reset all the settings to the standard ones and reconfigure it again, remember that after the reset, all settings will fly off and the Internet may not work until the router is configured correctly!

There are often cases when only one device or computer cannot connect to the Internet using a router, and all the rest can easily go out to eat. In this case, you need to look for the reason directly on this device.

If you are connected to the mobile Internet via a USB modem or a WiFi module plugged into a USB port, then try disconnecting it and reconnecting it. If that doesn't work, try using a different port for your connection. Perhaps reinstalling the driver will help you fix this problem.

Checking your Internet connection in Windows

In the case when the Internet is connected on your PC or laptop, but does not work, and at the same time you are absolutely sure that the reason for this is incorrect settings, then you need to follow a series of procedures that will quickly solve your problem.

You need to start reconfiguring by pinging any popular site. To do this, you need to press the combination "Win + R". This will bring up the "Run" window.

In the field for entering text, you need to enter the following "cmd" and click on "OK" .. If you are not a fan of my site, you can write google. After that, click on the enter button and wait for the result. If all is well, the server will send you something like this:

If the response from the server contains the line "During ping, the host could not be foundpec-komp.com. Check the hostname and try again ", then you need to type another command, for example" ping .8.8.8.8 ". This is the IP address of the public DNS server from Google, which will always be available. If the computer has access to the external network, then the answer will be the same as in the picture above, but with different numbers after "answer from ...".

If the ping passes by the IP address, but it does not open in the browser, then most often this indicates that there is an Internet connection, but the network does not work due to the incorrect configuration of the network card, namely, the address is not registered or is spelled out incorrectly DNS servers. How to fix this, I will tell you a little later.

If you see a different response from the server, then you need to check access to the router. We will also check using ping. You can find out the IP address of the router on the sticker that is glued to back side his body. Most often, the IP address of the "192.168.1.1" or "192.168.0.1" routers. The first address is registered on my router, so I got the following answer:

If the router pings, but there is no Internet host, then most likely the reason lies again in the settings of the router or in itself.

But if the router is unavailable for server requests, then there is a reason to get into the settings of the network adapter on the computer. But, before doing this, disable your antivirus and firewall, if any. Sometimes it is these two "comrades" that cause problems with the Internet.

If after that the Internet does not work, although there is also a connection, press the "Win + R" key combination again, but now in the "open" field we write "ncpa.cpl."

If you have registered everything correctly, then the Windows network connections window will open. In it you need to find your active connection and right-click on it, then select "properties." In the window that opens, look for the line "IP version 4 (TCP / IPv4)" and click on it twice to open the protocol parameters ...

Check "get IP-address automatically" and "get DNS-server address automatically". Click ok and check the result in the browser.

If this does not help, then mark the point "Use the following addresses" with a dot. You need to register the IP address from the subnet of your router. If it has an IP of 192.168.0.1, then set the computer to 192.168.0.2. If the router uses 192.168.1.1 , then on the PC it will be 192.168.1.2. The mask is 255.255.255.0.
