Linoleum, when properly laid, will not accumulate dust and fungus under it. It must be laid on a flat surface, glue and solder the skirting board adjacent to the wall (or use a rubberized skirting board). Linoleum should be chosen commercial class with increased durability.

Self-leveling floor

A self-leveling floor made of a self-leveling mixture of cement, sand, gypsum is epoxy, polyurethane, white, gray, transparent, with a 3D pattern.

Ceiling decoration

Stretch ceiling

The stretch ceiling is not afraid of moisture, it is easy to follow it, it can be glossy and reflect light, it is presented in a wide range. For a small toilet interior, it is better to choose a single-level canvas.

Panels

MDF or PVC panels are suitable for an economical finish. There are seamless panels with visible seams.

Dye

The paint for the interior of a small toilet should be chosen in light shades (white, gray, sand, ruddy, blue). The paint is applied either water-based or water-based (acrylic and latex) with antifungal additives.

In the photo on the left, the walls and ceiling are painted with the same paint, which creates the effect of continuing the wall. White lighting reflects off a white surface and adds space.

Drywall

A plasterboard ceiling hides 5-7 cm of the distance of a small toilet, but also hides an interfloor slab or ceiling irregularities. You can make a niche from drywall, a backlit wave. It can be repainted and thus change the interior of the toilet.

Selection of plumbing and furniture

Plumbing in a narrow toilet should be small, not clutter up the space and remain functional.

Sink

For convenience and hygiene, you can install a sink in a small toilet, which does not take up much space. The sink can be angled and placed above the cistern, square or rectangular. Mixers are also available in small sizes. The sink is hanging, corner, with a bedside table.

Toilet bowl

The toilet can be installed in the classic version - in the center against the wall, or in the corner. Compact toilets-installations do not present any difficulties, look miniature, do not take up much space. There are floor, hanging, corner.

The color can be standard white, black, red, blue. If the interior of a small bathroom is thematic or monochromatic, then the accent can be made not on the wall, but on the color of the toilet bowl. For example, a red toilet will match a red, white, black toilet interior.

Furniture

In addition to plumbing, it is better to refuse placing a washing machine and cabinets in a compact toilet. You can limit yourself to a wall cabinet or shelf, a niche for storing paper and cleaning products.

Lighting and decor items

Lighting

Lighting should be primary and local. For the main lighting, lamps built into the ceiling with a frosted glass shade or small spotlights are suitable. Sockets and switches must be drip-proof. Decorative lighting can be along the ceiling, along the plinth of any color.

Color solution

Color ideas do not depend on the size of the room, as any color has several shades that are suitable for a narrow or small toilet.

White

White color in the interior of bathrooms is more common than others, it makes the toilet lighter and more spacious. Combines with other pastel and bright shades: black, herbal, scarlet, beige. The emphasis can be made on color installations. Milky and ivory shades are similar.

Black

The black interior is combined with white fixtures. Combines with gray, scarlet, amber colors.

Black and white

The black and white interior of the small toilet is combined in contrast. The ceiling and floor can be white, and the walls are tiled in black and white herringbone or in a checkerboard pattern. Combinations and proportions vary in different ways.

In the photo, snow-white plumbing and glossy black decorative tiles create an organic look for the interior, where cold lighting plays an important role.

Green

Green color reminds of nature, combined with coffee, white, beige, gold.

Yellow

The yellow interior of a small bathroom does not overload, fills the room with warmth, is combined with cornflower blue, black, purple.

Gray

Beige and brown

Blue

Blue is popular in combination with blue, white, emerald, black. Tiles, toilet, lighting can be blue.

Modern

The modern style is created by ergonomic plumbing fixtures, gray, white colors, minimal decor and functional layout.

Classic

The classic interior of the toilet is guessed in beige and gold colors, decor with paintings, plain walls, soft lighting and gold fittings.

Pictured on the left is a small bathroom with tiles on the floor and a wall-hung sink with classic-style gilded fixtures.

Loft

A loft-style toilet is most often plain white or gray, sometimes with brickwork, simple small lamps, and a matte floor.

Provence

The interior of the Provence style toilet is white-green, white-purple. Wallpaper can be selected with a picture of flowers or stripes. The cabinet above the toilet is made in olive style and painted in pastel green.

Scandinavian

The interior of a Scandinavian toilet is all about simplicity and minimalism. White plumbing is combined with a light wood-like floor, brick-like ceramics and small flowers in pots.
