Dark night soul religious experience. Dark night soul. Rudiger Rade, margitis Darke "Dark Night" Soul. Healing from depression

"I mentioned the dark night of the soul ... After followed, questions were sprinkled where to get more detailed information.

I post the chapter from the book Pepper Lewis dedicated to this issue:

Says Guya: Solutions for a Little Planet

About a year ago, I experienced what I call the moment and the Year of Personal Awakening. Many positive changes that occurred in my life are directly related to this awakening. But now, exactly a year later, everything in my life leads me to confusion and confusion. I eat bad and sleep and i feel emotional instability and spiritual impassable.Sometimes some kind of anxiety arises and there are temporary attacks of depression. At first glance, nothing seemed to have changed, and I can't not ask myself, why everything is now worse, not better than before.

What happened? What still has changed? I recently told me about the so-called dark night of the soul. Can you describe this condition and say, isn't it happening to me? If so, is there any means from this? Over the years I have seen what impact your words are provided on countless readers. And I pray that they help me.

It is important to remember and recognize that spiritual awakens, like other standing (and unexpected) events, are not one-time ecstatic experiences, followed by a whole life of insane glory. They are of exceptional importance, superior to all ordinary and then continuously unfold inside and throughout the entire life of the accumulation of experience.

But how many such moments never last, they are Changes in consciousness with the transition from one state to the following. Besides what they are immeasurable for the growth of your soul and forever imprinted in your cellular memory, They also have an exceptional importance in terms of heaven. But they, of course, are not comparable to the grandiosity of the wanderings of your soul on the path of development, - the wanders that are commensurate with this universe.

Only when all these events are associated together, beauty and glitter of each individual pearl begins to accurately reflect the integrity that you are. The expansion of your consciousness occurs organically and continuously. It does not require all those moments when you experience short-term ecstasy, and in fact surpasses them.

You want to believe, you want no, and even if it contradicts modern opinion, the usual cases of the soul (and her personality) in her everyday worries, more than appropriate. God - unlike people - does not judge and does not even appreciate how many spiritual and how many worldly actions you do. How none funny but While you are looking for the meaning of your life, you already live them. This cannot be otherwise, because everything is always valid for purpose and never happens inconsistent.

An article about the origin of the monad, soul and twin flames.

Like it someone or not, but it is also necessary to recognize that the closest meaning is that you first practice the ability to be a person, and then the ability to be a mystic, a sage or spiritist. Thus, most of your experience should reflect this law. Because your essence currently lives in a conductor from a more dense light, called the human body, this law receives priority over others. At such moments, the principle of the universal law is becoming particularly important, because otherwise it could be quickly refuted.

This means that it is difficult not to capture the experiences that seem completely unusual. At such moments the soul rejoices, and the personality forgets about their problems and troubles. These joyful experiences remind you that there is always a great and small reality that exist side by side and as one. The soul does not limit himself with these experiences, but they still lead it.

Please note that for the soul these experiences do not have such a great value as for the person. This reflects the conditionality of a three-dimensional personality as opposites as good and bad, bright and dark, etc. The human person evaluates, judging and compares the opposites on his own experience, using them, if necessary, the dark night of the soul as a criterion, while the soul perceives them only Like differences in a wider context.

Dark night

Dark night seems to be completely human phenomenon, when a person, Dotola considered himself spiritual and therefore, non-perplex abstractions of everyday life, Forced to look at yourself in the second or for the third time.

Sometimes the soul (embodied form of personality) is even returned to the opposite to what she, in her opinion, moved to restore the necessary qualities that she missed or left behind. Your soul is interested in combining the whole and will not agree to the smaller. It is necessary to unravel everything. This is unraveling and constitutes a dark night, which is not excluded even for the right and perfect life.

It seems that when this inevitable drama is played, spiritually well-read and educated people and those who one or two lives at the feet of the teacher at the feet react particularly sharply to this natural law, throwing themselves on others or wounded themselves. Although this path is difficult and does not inspire confidence, the dark night still has its value for the soul. While the path is wide, you can imitate dedicated, but when it ultimately narrows, then only truly aspirations will be able to endure everything to the end.

What brought such a wicked personality of ecstasy, opens now otherwise - the gift is the same, but it turns out differently. Spiritual awakening becomes the result of the fact that small "I" decides to merge with the highest "I". They make it possible to perceive true reality, and not taken for reality illusion.

Suppose that from the mirror for the first time it is reflected and looks back to look at the reflection it called. Can you imagine how deep experience will it be for the highest "me" and what stunning - for a small "I"?

Small "I", unprepared to such an experience, sees the not opening great opportunity, but only the deceptiveness and insignificance of his life in which it believed. And the quality of the dark night, and its duration is determined by the distance between the small and the highest "I".

Now "spacious" the souls, or a purified heart, should see his way through the twilight of his human condition, until it can see in the darkness and ultimately - through it. Any limitation is a small "I" perceives in this state as final and decisive, losing the ability to creative and original expression. No matter how cruel it seemed to this transition, in the end, the soul and the personality merge together and once and forever they clearly recognize where the land of God and that he drives her.

It happens that on the spiritual path you suddenly cease to believe in the voice of the soul and ask yourself: maybe there are no spiritual mentors, and the voice of the highest I am the fruit of imagination? Find out where these doubts come from and how to eliminate them.

Removal of spirit

In this new era, when arriving like an avatar of insight and the ability to communicate with the Spirit turns hardly on a weekly phenomenon, dark night often manifests itself in the disappearance of these familiar phenomena.

Senior Teachers of the Spirit as the objective ideas of developed consciousness become central factors of help. When, obeying the high laws of the Spirit, they are removed, then leave a fragrant trail, which is very quickly replaced by a wall of impermeable darkness. Can something be replaced by such proximity and mutual love of the Spirit and to the Spirit? And very quickly arises the idea that only something that is not worthy of love can be rejected. And the torment begins.

People with a thin warehouse and people with a good intuitive organization are very hard to endure this spiritual loss; the absence brings a big bitterness, Because the presence was very pleasant. Removal is often also personal, and impersonal. If, for example, a dark night will come for the channel [Pepper Lewis], whose feather transfers the words of Guy, then, more than likely, will be silent and her feather.

In the desperation described here, much more people fall, which can be imagined, clinging to the deplorable results for the ego and stirring out of it caused and learned words. When spiritual connection is almost stopped, the small "I" remains to resurrect yourself from the dead. In desperation, it returns to his simplicity and innocence, sometimes even sobbing, like a child, not to leave it in Molub.

Small "I" should start as it were, because even those who think that they have nothing, extremely possess everything, and it is in this that they have to make sure again. The gods and teachers who are flattered by the Small "I" or the soul are not divine, so for such experiences of deprivation and grief often follows a more correct understanding of Divinity.

Those who consider themselves the most innocent and clean in their thoughts and affairs, transfer the night otherwise. These voluntary exiles in endless flour are forced to see a permanent series of not the most worthy people who receive remuneration for any trifle. They, who, in their own opinion, deserves the love of God and happiness more than others, it seems that they are in the last place - forgotten, mutually left.

The lost gift of speech from such a turnover of affairs and cannot cope with them, they begin to think badly and talk about generosity in relation to others and their well-being. Depressed by their own unlikely, they see bad signs every day and face trouble. It seems that the more good things they make, the more immersed in the darkness, from which they do not see the exit.

At this stage, many begin to believe that God really favors the darkness and those who think and cares about themselves about themselves. When a bad position is replaced by even the worst, there is a choice before them, to live them and get from life, like everything, or remove from society and live alone in a world that no longer accepts them.

During the dark night, the soul cleans himself, conscious of its own shortcomings.

Together with the person, she revises all their real and imaginary sins. Each particle and atom increases many times so as not to miss any detail. With such an increase, the small "I" cannot not see his insignificance and artificiality.

As the distance between the small "I" and the soul increases, the distance between the light and darkness increases, turning the goods of life for no more than in abstraction and distracting factors falling on a heavy burden on the shoulders, which are suddenly fragile and unreliable.

In this article, explain the difference between the state of fear and the state of love, why the instinct of self-preservation is outdated and that he comes to shift.

Infinite night

A person is typically regretful about what was inevitable, and look at his mistakes, instead of rushing to the unexpected and consider the good will of the eternal, and the evil - transient. There are, however, a large proportion of truth is that all created temporary and transit. This means that your essence that makes up the presence of your soul, eternal. Temporary is the aspect of permanent, but constant is not an aspect of the eternal. It is this truth (component of the Ecumenical Law) a small "I" (personality) and the highest "I" (soul) forget when immersed in a dark night.

The constancy is inherent in what lasts forever or for a very long time. It characterizes everything that never changes or should not be subjected to significant changes. The constancy is characteristic of everything physical. It can be attributed to Stonehenge and to your physical body. It is believed that Stonehenge stands for many thousands of years, and you can imagine that even more. He seems like an almost eternal structure, but since it was created with a certain goal, then someday when his destination will lose its relevance, he will cease to exist.

The same applies to your physical body. It seems durable and durable, because its existence makes sense. But someday when he has a higher purpose than today, you will want to leave it or recreate it in another form. In the meantime, because of its consistency and destination it belongs to you.

Eternity is not physical quality. She is infinite and, it became not affected by time. From this eternal material consists of your soul, so it is destined to find his own divinity. One of the ways to whom your soul is followed by the traveling side, runs through the experience of embodiments in human appearance. Permanent and eternal are associated with completely unique relationships. They obey the same laws, but one thing - with its physical manifestation, another - his opposite. Small "I" and the highest "I" are subject to the same laws, and although they complement each other, people often confuse the contrast between them.

This low-touch contrast contributes to the separation, which is most often observed during the darkest night. Conscious of his eternity the soul rejoices the dark night as the possibility to reconsider what it is most of all confident. She tries to extend their journey and looks at a dark night only as a predestal hour. And the personal "I," thinking that he has only one life, is afraid of oscillations and even delays.

Personality sees in the dark night the result of an inaccessible exam - the exam in which it was tested and considered unworthy. She is waiting only for his deserved punishment for their sins, but it is just a just representation of human nature.

Light restoration

Dark night lasts exactly as much as sins are detected.

If a person is able to see no more than a series of eternal moments in spiritual awakening, then the dark night will not last longer than the night actually, you know? Spiritual awakening is the reason for joy, but this is not a reward that is given only on day (or for a year), and the next day or year is selected. But even if so, there is nothing wrong with to arrange a luxurious feast once, and the next day I can be content with easier food. The day is replaced at night as inevitably, as the night is replaced by the day, and this is how it is impossible to better apply to everything that happens to you.

Confusion, confusion and anxiety prevail when a separation is felt with the greatest force. If you are separated from breathing, you greedily catch the air on the breath and breathe hard. If you do not think about your physical condition, then the need of your body in nutrition will not be satisfied, and if you are afraid that you do not have the courage to show perseverance and overcome obstacles, your body will not be resting and will not have a rest who brings sleep.

Emotional stability is the result of confidence in the next moment and to the next event, while depression arises as a consequence of persistent, but impracticable claims of a small "I" to control. Without the interaction and awareness of both hemispheres of the brain, it is impossible to achieve equilibrium.

Spiritual equilibrium will restrict when strict beliefs replace the recognition of new opportunities.
The dark night of the soul is a phenomenon associated with spiritual awakening, and this phenomenon does not need to be afraid. Dark night does not necessarily follow the spiritual awakening or precedes him, for both the other essence are only aspects of the expansion of the soul. Nevertheless, take care of those who promise you a path that leads from your own center and lead to someone else's, for such a path often leads to various suffering and pain.

Be patient, passing through this, and surround yourself like-minded people.

Move carefully and slowly, since your path during this cycle can remain unclear.

Sick yourself a little, if you can not without it, but do not ride in pity for yourself.

Teach yourself to see in dim light to be able to help others achieve the same if you are asked about it.

If what is happening with you today returns you to such moments that seem to be crashing directly from your past, admit them as such. Look at them straight and honest. The Sun (Son) returns to the classroom, and the light will soon throw out its shadow. Following the bog, do not make sharp movements. Complete your fate until you have enough buoyancy to get to the shore. You can disparate, but you will not be defeated.

Your only sin is in the oblivion of laws, according to which nature dominates in the third dimension. These laws apply to human nature. The means is in memories and forgiveness, where necessary. The light is never absent, but is often determined by the shadow.

Later addition from Guy:

Favorable readers, both in the body, and in the spirit, these words are designed to you and the child inside you, still believing in the division, which is nothing but the fear, but still real - at least in the sense, What is really felt. He goes out of yesterday's days, but just stands in your today and will try to follow you and your tomorrow.

Remember that when you develop a new way, sometimes it turns out to be slow. The new, slower way is better than the kind of old, where there are no new types and horizons. If you are most worried that you do not know, in what direction to go, then start with the Valley of the World.

In search of the shortest path to Shambalu, many missed this oasis to later return to their own trails when they most wanted to be on her healing meadows. Maybe I will come to you there, and we sit together there, because it is my home.

Journey through the night sea

The dark night of the soul can be felt like something amorphous, having no meaning, forms or directions. To cope with her, try to symbolically express this experience of the soul, remembering that many people came across a dark night on their way and could survive it. Great stories and myths of many cultures and peoples can also provide you with substantial support, providing rich images of the human struggle, which inspires us and leads to an understanding. One ancient story spilling light on the experience of dark night is the story of a man who swallowed a huge fish. The hero, or rather, the anti-hero - he is a victim of circumstances - just calmly dwells in the womb, while she carries it across the ocean waves. Since this story is associated with the sun coming in the West, traveling under water to the east in order to go there in the morning, this plot is often called the "journey through the night sea." This cosmological excerpt is used as a metaphor of our own dark nights, when we are trapped in the depressed mood or external circumstances, feeling that there is little depends on us and that the only thing we can do is to inactivate and wait for liberation.

Imagine that your gloomy mood or an external source of your suffering is a huge living vessel in which you are sealed. This vessel moves, heads somewhere, gradually leads you to where you need to come. Perhaps you do not like the situation in which you are, but a more positive look at her, no doubt, may be helpful. Perhaps at this very moment you are in your own journey through the night sea.

Sometimes in your darkness you can feel like something ripening in you and that you are preparing for a new life. You are moving somewhere, even if there is no obvious progress at the external level. I came across the therapeutic sessions with many men and women who had no idea what was happening with them, except for the feeling of disorders from the joys of normal life. Everything they felt was a monotonous, unsubstantiated bulk. Nevertheless, most of them still wanted to continue therapeutic sessions, a week for a week, until finally, step by step, slowly began to manifest the meaning. Some people from the very beginning intuitively felt something creative in this work.

Whale, of course, very much reminds the uterus. In your ability to live and your uncertainty, you are similar to a born baby. Darkness is natural, it is one of the processes of life. It may have a certain promise, an intuitive guessed that life continues, even if you currently have no understanding of where she leads you. This is the time of waiting and the time of trust. My attitude to these situations as the therapist is to not rush with conclusions or even understanding. It is just necessary to be in this process and at the appropriate time to allow him to open up to you that until time is hidden in it.

Hero Sun and Sea

The classic travel history in the night sea is the Old Testament Book of the Prophet Ions. The Lord commanded an ion to go with a sermon to people of Nineveia, mired in atrocities and sins. But Ion tried to avoid the call of the Lord and sailed on the ship to the far city of Farsiis. At sea rose the strongest storm, threatening drowning the ship. As a result of the thrown lot, the sailors found out that it was the ion that was responsible for the raging element, because he tried to leave his destination. To save themselves, they threw him overboard at the suggestion of the ions, and a huge fish swallowed him. He was in the whale whale for three days and three nights before he was thrown onto the land. Then God appealed to the Ion again, and this time he fulfilled his will.

During your dark night, you can experience the feeling of the "ocean around", similar to swimming in the sea or immersion in the water of the mother's womb. The sea is your enormous life potential, but it can also be your dark night, which will make you refuse before the well-achieved knowledge. However, it is precisely this dark night that it often helps to go beyond the heroic development of ego-consciousness, to discover the previously unknown parties to the very cultural heritage, which was created for years. Traveling around the night sea returns you to your pristine essence, not a heroic, which is easily exploded and proceeds to condemnation, but to your original I, to you as the sea of infinite opportunities, to your more multifaceted and deep being.

You can also so much to influence the modern habit of seeking moving forward at all costs that you can depreciate the periods when at the external level you seem to roll back. However, regressing in some sense means returning to its origins, to retreat from the usual line of struggle for existence, to revive the gods, spirits, spirits and natural elements in its memory, including your own clean nature, which you were at the very beginning of the path. You return to the womb of the imagination, where your pregnancy can be restored. In a sense, you are boring every morning and always die by the end of the day to plunge into the healing waters of the night.

The great Indian theorist of art and the theoretologist Ananda Kumaravami once said: "No creature can achieve a higher level of nature, without stopping to exist on the previous one." In the dark night, something of the you created ceases to exist - your ego, your I, your work, your meaning. You can find in that darkness the key to your power source, to a big soul that makes you those who you are, and keeps the secrets of your existence. It is not enough to rely only on the brilliant possibilities of your intelligence and learning abilities. It is necessary to become susceptible to the transforming energies of the natural forces, which are in mystical darkness.

A bright example of such a trip through the night sea is the last year of the life of the English thinker of St. Thomas Mora. He was a lawyer, theologian and highly educated person convicted of death by King Henrich VIII for refused to officially recognize the status of the divorce of the king. Make it at that time meant to break a religious law. Mora was kept in a small basement of the London Tower, in the room with white walls and without any furniture. When I visited this room personally, she reminded me of the womb, which became a specific metaphor of that terrible vessel, in which Mor was concluded during the year. Even today, being in this room, you can feel inside the huge monster, and here in this morning space, it honed my ideas and my consciousness.

Mora's family, especially his favorite, unusually intelligent daughter Margaret, tried to convince him to agree with the desire of the king. In one of his letters, Margaret written by the sea in conclusion, he actually expresses the thought of the ions: "I humbly pour God about grace, which will allow me to subjugate my mind to his great fishery, so that after the storm of my brown time on earth, his great mercy could Lop me in reliable asylum of blissful skies. " He wrote Margaret that he could not sleep at night, thinking about the possible painful end that he would meet. He felt "pain and heaviness" in his heart. And yet, in the midst of this nightmare, he felt deep calmness, because his mind was clean. Although no one could understand his position in relation to the king, he felt deep confidence and rightness in his religious views.

I do not know the best example of the life of the usual, full of love of a person who in the midst of a terrible storm broke around, was able to resist the accusation of his enemies and calmly support his friends and family to such a difficult hour. Thomas Mor is an image of ions, which took time in solitude to realize that he was intended to do. It walked against everything he wanted, and against all his heart attachments. But as a result, he gained incomprehensible internal pacification and rooted in his views and faith. He used the time spent in the dungeon to deeper his beliefs and life principles.

A lesson that can be learned from this story of life is that no loss will be fatal, and obstacles insurmountable as long as you follow your destiny in a deep connection with your inner vision and your values. Until the very last minute, Mi fought the temptation to refuse his choice, but a deeper awareness of his views in prison allowed him to preserve his values. He could have fear and sadness, but at the same time kept the clarity of the vision.

As in the case of other examples from this book, Mor was an unusual person in unusual circumstances, and physically he could not survive. You can also once be in the midst of the wrecking life drama, albeit on a smaller scale. But there, in the middle of your own storm, you can detect how to keep your vision is clear and allow your night travel to determine your life.

Day and night

Think about the dark night as part of organic life. Avoid her anyway that constantly choose only artificial food, which will never deteriorate. As a living person you have to feel a huge range of different emotions and go through a completely different life experience. Throughout your life, some parts will grow and flourish, and some kind of fading and damp. Being sad, combustible, struggling, lost or deprived of hope is a natural part of human life. Sedlala crest of the wave of your dark night, you become more, moving towards the one who you should be.

To feel good, you should shine, but this shine should not be artificial. It may arise from a deeply hidden place in your soul, dark and gloomy, but possessing its own special light. Thomas Aquinas suggests that the central element of beauty is its shine, but other famous thinkers - Bajler, de Garden, Beckett, Sexton - include in beauty and dark radiance, which French psychoanalyst Julia Kristev calls, following an ancient tradition, black sun. Imagine that in the center of your creature is the Black Sun, dark radiance, which is less innocent and more rich, rather than naive superficial sunlight. This is one of those gifts that your dark night will prevent you.

Humphrey Bogart was one of those actors who wore the Black Sun, whose dark radiance manifested itself in his heroes. In childhood, his parents were alcoholics and dependent on morphine, spending most of the time away from her son, while his guardian was beaten. Later, becoming an actor, he played hard detectives and murderers, transforming his sadness and his nervousness into an artistic image that brought him a great success. His insightful biographer Eric Lex argues that Bogart had an amazing ability to "create spectators a feeling that there is something more under the surface layer." He made his heroes Sam Sphida and Philip Marlow at the same time "desired and distant, too cynical and too noble to be true." I do not want to bring Bogart as the perfect result of the dark night, I rather want to show on his example, as a person can make something good from his hard experience. Bogart once played a major role in the film "King of the Underground World", in which the beautiful image of his fate was embodied. I think he was so well played the role of representatives of the social bottom in his films, because he himself was on the emotional day in childhood.

Both as in childhood and in the period of service of the film studio system, Bogart lived heavy dark nights. Paradoxically, but it was exactly the darkness of the character, created by his torments, made it successful, moreover, she made him a man, not only overcoming his enslavers, but also eclipsed them.

Under the influence of the formative force of your own darkness, like a captive ion, you can become a sun rising over dark waters. You are constantly revived, always plunging back to the sea. Your dark night may seem inert and devoid of any rhythm, but in the depths of it there is a barely distinguishable movement. TS. Eliot describes the movements of life and death, light and darkness, like the Chinese vessel, eternally moving in its immobility. Movement in your darkness can be difficult to feel, but, nevertheless, it is. Perhaps you are not moving forward, but even in slow rhythm you still move. And so, being in a closed vessel, in which your life is enclosed in immobility, you live your destiny, and in this, oddly enough, there is a special beauty, a pulse of life that can be felt, only being in the dark.

Special Night Sea Language

Being in the depths of your dark night, you can discover the secret hidden from modern people: the essence of things can be expressed only aesthetically - in the story, painting, film, dance, music. Only when the ideas are poetic, they reach depths and express genuine. In its unusually original essay, Ralph Waldo Emerson says that the poet "is located on the step closer to the essence of things" and "turns the world into a transparent glass." To be a poet, it is not necessary to write poetry, but you need to gain sensitivity to the word, image or symbol. This will allow you to go beyond the modern habit of attaching value only to the facts. You can form yourself in the field of art, in great stories and symbols of world religions. Bogart managed to express the camera to the camera that was filled with anxieties and anger. You can also do this when you find your own self-expression. Let it be just a good interesting story told by friends. You can discover talent to some particular expressive tool - in art, craft, even in sports.

After a century after Emerson, another master of the word of New England, Wallace Stevens, described the poet, perhaps even borrowing the image of Emerson, as "a man of glass, able to assemble us together from millions of diamonds." Inside you lives this ability to be a poet of your own experience. Your dark night can help turn you into a person out of glass, transparent and clean. You need to learn to "collect" your experience in images that will be able to transfer your personal truth. I do it when I write books on those themes that I personally come across. Many people create wonderful songs, poems and stories. And someone for this uses less obvious - for example, the garden grows.

Everyone around you expect that you will describe your experience only through your own or medical terms. In modern society, we believe that psychological and medical languages are best expressed by the experience through which we pass in the period of the Dark Night. You have depression or phobia, you have an alarming disorder or bad genes. But the insightful thinkers of other times and places said that good, creative, sensual and strong words play a major role in living your dark night. Think about such an opportunity: for your soul it will be much more useful to find a bright image, tell a good story or simply talk about your dark night, using the strength and beauty of words and expressions.

The poetic language is most suitable for the tour in the night sea, because the usual way to speak is the method of heroic. As a rule, we are talking about progress, growth and success. Even the "healing" can be inaccurate to describe what is happening in the sea of the change of soul. The language of popular psychology is inclined to be simultaneously heroic and sentimental. You solve your problems and target personal growth and integrity. An alternative to this can be a deeper idea of who you and through what you are going. This look may not heal you and do not give a sense of integrity, but it can give you a greater understanding of life.

Your quality quality is very significant. During your dark night, try to talk with stories or images. Resist the temptations to move to explanations, protection and interpretations. Use metaphors and symbols. For example, many people suggest that they feel like a volcano, ready to explode at any time. This is a very strong image, but they are often abused. Find your own images that most accurately express what happens to you. One woman told me that every day she was hard to believe that the sun would rise again. I never forgot this simple image, because he is so clear and clearly conveys anxiety about whether life will continue.

One of the best examples of using the poetic language during periods of anxiety and despondency is Emily Dickinson. Her letters tell about different losses and tragedies in her life, and almost every letter contains a brief poem and one or two sentences that express the essence of what happened to her. For example, when her friend whom she loved most of all in the world, she died, she wrote to her cousin:

And everyone who is lost by us

Takes part of us

As if the sickle of the moon tide

You do not need to write poetry, but you can learn from Emily Dickinson to describe your experience in a language that can grab the very essence of your experience and link it to some common meaning with your whole life. Dickinson's words about her loss speak with all of us. Have you ever felt the way if some kind of particle were given to the mercy of unknown feelings, like the moon associated with the tide and the tide of the waves?

Modern speech is often simple and pragmatic. You may also use the cliché to describe the original and deep experienced experience. An alternative to this may be the discovery of strong, finely describing feelings of words. You can also experiment with different forms until you find the style that most of all will allow you to express what you want to say. Can you create an original letter form like Dickinson? Can you find a poetic expression that will tell about your experience much more than ordinary words?

The poem Dickinson is not so easy to understand, but it is because they open us not all. They are keepers of mysterious experience. You may need the same language: words that will keep your thoughts and your experience, not to say too much. Poetry is the language of the sea; He keeps you in the healing waters of life, tying you with your unique experience.

Sea as a source

Many poets and artists created their best works in periods of emotional darkness. Even if you do not see artistic talent in yourself, you still in some sense are an artist and the Creator of your own life. You create your own history and your own ways of self-expression. I think about this sacrament when I sit in the chapel of Rotko in Houston, which the artist filled with completely black paintings for meditations, or Teit Modern in London, surrounded by it cut into memory, unearthly, colored abstractions. Biographer Rotko notes that immediately after the experience of impact, in his sixty, suffering from the aneurysm, he was able to return the struggle and emotional depth of his work, and this in the end contributed to the birth of a tangible artistic advantage. " Dark night sometimes by shocking way Returns you back to life and gives you such an advantage that you need to fulfill good work.

One Sunny Spring Day when I visited London, I sat in the Rootko's room and felt the power of his huge, smirling, colored paintings. At that moment I knew that I was in the presence of a person who really lived. He learned the brightness and darkness, and this knowledge that became part of himself, glowing with his canvases. Thanks to him, I could restore the feeling of my own darkness and depth, it was like his gift to me. Some artists and actors leave you with a feeling of disappointment, because despite their technical perfection, they lack the personal depth needy in order to create genuine art. I find that as I try to let into my soul the inner state of such artists like Rotko or Samuel Beckett, who is my ideal of the honest and seeing the essence of the writer, I miss their acuteness of internal vision and their trained muscles of imagination, but Yet some part of their dark power penetrates my words imperceptibly.

In your darkness you are in the whale whale without any opportunity to do anything, just just afford to carry yourself. In fabulous stories about the womb, the hero, swallowed by a huge sea monster, loses his hair from a strong heat inside, which is a symbol of deep transformation, like a monk who shaves his head, taking the transition from everyday life to the life of the sacred. Monk and baby, devoid of hair, predecessors of any man and women who return to the state before birth during the night of the soul.

When you feel that your dark night is at night pregnancy and return to the oceanic, be calm and react to these events accordingly. Watch and surprise. Take the human embryo as a model. Take the wilt pose, emotionally and intellectually. Stay in silence. Floating in your darkness, as if it were the waters of the mother's womb, and throw attempts to find a way out or understand the meaning of what is happening.

There is something like Zen in this advice. Sunlar Suzuki, in his usual simplicity, teaches "Samadhi of one action." He suggests that it is necessary to limit its activity and concentrate on what is happening at this particular point. So you can express yourself. Do not roam chaotic there and here. Suzuki says that when you bow out, you just bow when you sit, you just sit. I would say that when you are on a trip to the night sea, let it capture you. Do not try to finish it. Do not try to understand what is happening. Do not attempt to overcome this condition. You will not intervene in the natural generic process, so do not fuss and do not do unnecessary movements while traveling the soul, able to give you more humanity and open your genuine fate. Be in the "darkness of one action".

Whale whale.

Remember what was the first step towards the fact that ion was in whale whale? He refused to speak with careless people. He performed as an antiger, a simple person who does not feel able to become someone big than he is now. Here we see another well-known topic in this popular story: Dark night saves you from jams in your little life. She makes you a hero. She freshes you to your fate and before becoming aware and responsive member of your society. In the womb of your mother you became a man. In the womb of your dark night, you become a soul.

Whale whale is SunyatuNutrition. Ion is sitting in the whale of China practicing Dzazen, meditating like a monk. He sits not literally, but figuratively. His status as an antihero is strengthened and becomes very intense, and at the same time he is increasingly approaching his fate. He is similar to the Bekketov character who has no control over the situation and, nevertheless, moving in an unknown direction, even staying at the same time. He also looks like a person in therapy. "Why do I continue to come?" - People ask, because changes are often uncomfortable and not striking. You are sitting at the therapeutic session a week for a week like a Chinese vessel, imperceptibly moving.

In a dark place you can ask basic questions. Who you are? What is this world? What kind of family do you come to this world? What are your origins, your earliest experience? Deep inside, what do you want? What are you afraid of? In the whale whale, you have a chance to start anew. The sun fish goes back in the east. You make a new morning of your life.

In the biblical history of Ion, sitting in the whale whale, sings the song to the glory of the Lord. His words will seem familiar to everyone who has ever suffered from dark night's darkness: "We aroused me water to my soul; The abyss made me. " There is only one psalms that can be singing during a dark night: a song that praises darkness. This is a song that John the Cross sing, this is what Mark Rotko places on his cloth, and that Anna Sexton, a provincial housewife, who has become a poet, writes in his verses. The way you say, how you live, how you express yourself - this is what is of paramount importance when you come across your dark night. If you sing against darkness, a way that rarely choose genuine artists, you can be in a dead end forever. But if you can find any way that is suitable for your talents and temperament to express your situation in poetic, you will sing the Psalms to the Lord, who will be your highest darkness.

You do not need to be a professional artist to do it. During his dark night you can speak with extraordinary clarity and passion from the depths of your senses instead of the usual, surface state. Many times I saw people found a new way of interaction with their feelings and thoughts from the dark. This self-expression is necessary for experience and any possible transformation.

The society also prefers to sing about his melancholy instead of declare it directly. A lively sad song penetrates us and fascinates us, even if it describes the memories of sadness and loss. Whatever the impulse nor pushing us to create or listen to a sad song, this is the same impulse that asks us about the poetic expression of our dark feelings.

Spirituality of depth

The language of psychology may not tell you a lot about the darkness, and therefore it may not be enough to completely go through it. Pursuing exclusively therapeutic goals, psychology often too narrows experience. Her mission is to facilitate your suffering. But it is not configured by philosophically or theologically help you find the meaning in the dark. And therefore it is not enough.

Religion also often avoids darkness, hiding behind banal and false beliefs. Nothing is more inappropriate than the weak religious plump in the face of the harsh, threatening the life of darkness. Religions are peculiar to the tendency to send light and demonize the darkness. If you turn to the spiritual to find only positive and safe, then you actually use spiritual to avoid the dark beauty of life. Religion easily becomes defense and avoidance. Of course, this is not a genuine purpose of religion, and the religious traditions of the world filled with perfectly formulated wisdom are your best source of direction in the dark. There is a genuine spirit of the Spirit and there is an empty religious shell. Understand and feel the difference. After all, we are talking about your life.

An attempt to escape from the darkness infantilizes your spirit, because the dark nights of the soul are designed to initiate you into spiritual maturity. You should be extremely attentive in the field of religion, because, despite all its beauty and the essence, it can be full of traps. Even those who penetrate the religious paradox seem to be aware of what they do, and from this sensitive seeker of spiritual wisdom becomes only more difficult. You must also use intelligence at every step of your path.

The spiritual life is at the same time deep and transcendent. She should not remove you from your daily tasks, but should offer you a more wise way of interaction in all its complexity and versatility. It should help you become a person character and insight, emotionally persistent and intellectually demanding to the same extent as loving and compassionative. It should give you an insight into the deepest questions and problems, and open your vision that goes beyond everyday affairs. Religion often does not help explore the depth and gives only a vision, but then the transcendental opportunities lack depth, and in the end they are more painful than help.

One of the most powerful votes of religion in the face of death, and at the same time, another compassionate and talented man talking from prison is Dietrich Bonheffer, a theologian and pastor sentenced to death for his participation in a conspiracy against Hitler. In his latest letters from prison, he is trying to describe the type of religiosity, which was completely opposite to his still look: "The world who became adults," he writes, "more badly, and perhaps for this reason, a paradoxically closer to God, than the world Before his age. " What he does in mind, I think so this is that in the former times religion called for God as a strength outside of life, which can solve our problems. Today, Bonheffer says, we need to meet with our problems directly, and, having lost the possibility that God with His Divine Connection goes to us from heaven, we discover the authentic meaning of religion, susceptibility to the secrets that are opening to us. Bonheffer wrote it closer towards his dark night of the soul, which was not at all, according to many eyewitness, depressive. His faith was alive, but at the same time he turned the idea of religion himself. He was another one of those people who won his battle spiritually, although losing physically. He was hanged by the Nazis, but his letters to this day inspire many to the new and "highly honest", if using his own words, a way to be religious. He wrote from his heart of his darkness, and inspiring radiance and extraordinary energy was present in his thoughts.

Vocation of ions

The resistance of the Ions of the call of the Lord can be considered as resistance to another will, which rises from the inside of us. Most of our solutions include internal dialogue. Should I choose this or other job, stay at home or go on a journey, marry or be alone? Circumstances can resolve this issue, but often we tear between the two sides of the problem, hearing two votes within themselves, each of whom is trying to convince in their right. Since ancient times, an internal impulse, which can simultaneously be guides and knocking down the path, was called Daimon (demon).

Ancient Greeks used this word to describe any nameless spirit affecting someone. Plato spoke of love as a daimon. Later, Jung described him as an autonomous spirit that suggests a significant impact on our internal life. Existential psychotherapist Rollo May often wrote about demonic, describing it as a strong push, similar to a sexual impulse or a feeling of hunger. He spoke about the fact that Dyonon did not capture a man, he needs a dialogue. You need to talk with people about it and perhaps even how Jung did, communicate with the Daimon himself. For me, Dyon is a strong impulse inside a person or in an external world, which pushes it towards any action. You need to spend some time with this demonic strength before you open what to give him a creative place in my life.

When you feel the internal impulse to make an important turn in your life, you awaken your daimon to this. When you find unexpected power in your head or in your work, this Dyonon strengthens you. When you want to go in one direction, and something strongly pushes you in a completely opposite, then this other voice is Daimon. This is an ancient idea, but it also lies in the very core of the works of Greek Mystic Heraclita, K.G. Jung, U. Buitsa, Rollo Mea and James Hillman. You live with your Daimon when you take into account your wildest passionate desires, even if they are shooting with your habits and standards. You need a dialogue so that you can create a viable connection with this complex, but extraordinary creative force.

The best result of interaction with this force can be the fact that over time you can better know your wildest passions. You will begin to realize the voices that speak in the depths of your imagination. You will separate angels from demons, voices of fears from votes of hope. And you can come to the point in which you will feel harmony with you, because you will be in a dialogue with other entities. The psychologist can call them fantasy figures and warn you that you do not give them too much reality. But despite the dangers, you can lead them to equilibrium and carefully consider them.

Everyone may feel the inner motivation to the fact that there is a controversy with reasonable and intentional. The situation is quite common when a person asks for himself something one, in the depths of the soul desperately wanting absolutely opposite. In his early years, John Kitts wanted to become a doctor insanely, but the poetic daimon inside him won. Marilyn Monroe wanted to be an actress of dramatic cinema, but the spirit of sexuality and physical beauty stood on her way. Today she is still, in any case for older generations, is the figure of the cultural myth, rather the "goddess" rather than actress.

Heraclit said that Dyonom is fate. The spirit inside you, which often moves against your will, may be the most power that leads you to your destiny. Kitts and Monroe could consciously decide who they could be, but something more powerful inside them gave them the opportunity to take a much more significant place in the world. The same is true for all of us: hopes and plans that we have in relation to themselves may be anything in comparison with our capabilities. We must allow the other side of us to have their own space in order to make us who we could become.

Dyonon also plays a significant role in relationships. In therapy, for visible love triangles and complex relationships, I often saw something deeper than the problem in the relationship itself. The question was not how these two people can be happy with each other, but what are they fighting with? What is their fate, in a broad sense, which they are so desperate trying to avoid? I see in their marriages the truth of the geraclita sayings. They avoided the demonic, which was brightly revealed in their collaboration, and therefore they said "no" with their fate.

Today, people are often looking for the right and healthy way to be in a relationship, and they forget about the importance of their personal calling. They are trying to mix their lives more with each other rather than living the life in which two personal destinies are getting around. I knew one man who spent years trying to be in a successful marriage. And at that time he neglected all his talents and spent his life to work, which had greatly lagged behind his capabilities. He came to me during strong soulful suffering when his next marriage gave a crack. In the end, when he was in fifty, he accepted a radical decision to finish his education and engage in his career. To his amazement, his current marriage became stronger and happy. He had his own life, and therefore he was able to create happy mutual relationships.

Consciously, a person may insist on certain marriage or partnerships, but another will, deep inside him or a couple, may want the exact opposite. This struggle with deep inner call becomes the cause of a huge number of suffering and many dark nights associated with love and relationships. You think that you know what is better and what should be, but life itself secretly works in another direction. A long struggle, which usually has simultaneously internal and external directions, becomes dark at night.

The dark night of the soul can cause a long, difficult competition between one will and the will of another, each of which acts inside the same person or pair. Even when the exterior life is settled, and the couple got married or settled, the struggle can continue. You can learn that this incessant dispute is not necessarily destructive and often actually gives a new life relationship. And, as Jung says in his essay about marriage, you can understand that you married the Daimon of your partner to the same extent that it is on it, and that she also tied their fate with your inner essence. All this makes marriage and relations with such captivating, but not easy.

Call transcendent

You can be blind to those things that will give you the feeling that life is worth it to live. You can suppress the source itself leading to the deepest satisfaction. You can be too trusting by taking cunning answers of the world, giving artificial satisfaction. Therefore, you need to dig deeper. Discover yourself who you and who you want to be. Do not let the illusory promises of commercialized life to lead you away from your genuine goal. Instead, be yourself.

This is the destination point of the night sea travel - to be born by itself. In this journey you are again in amniotic fluid, in the Alchemical substance. You are traveling towards your own life. You are preparing to your destiny. Promise exciting, but danger of great. You must avoid becoming part of the crowd and instead use your chance to be born individuality.

Ion did not think that inside him already there is something that will help him know his fate. He tried to avoid her, sowing for a ship, removing him from the city of the Lord. But in the end, this ship led him to whale whale, which became the uterus of his formation. His escape turned the conductor to self-awareness.

Peer deep into your fears. Pay close attention to your defense. See where and how you avoid the deep demands of your being. Maybe now you will see cosmic wisdom in your dark night. You need to change your course and re-open your direction. You must surrender and take the most energy movement of your self-realization.

Ion urged the Lord to talk on his behalf, which is an absolutely opposite point of view of what is clearly or hidden in all media means today. This is a point of view that contributes to your birth as a person. She offers you an alternative to the absorption by our manipulative culture.

Your dark night makes you think about alternatives. It will lead you away from the active life of submission to someone else's goals and tasks. She offers you your own approach to life. You can stay with her alone and decide for yourself who you and who you want to be. She can give you the strength to firmly root in its original existence. You can be born again, not as part of the ideology that requires you to surrender, but as a unique, given to you by God, discovering the life for yourself for you.

No need to say that emphasizing self-realization and individuality, I do not oppose the fraternity and community. The society flourishes when it consists of genuine individualities adopted for their own contribution and their ideas. You are in whale whale to get to Ninevia to become part of the world to add an important voice to his overall song. People are waiting for your inclusion in society. They need you, and you need them. But before that you will need to go through your dark night, which is both your pain, and your deliverance. This is the greatest obstacle that you will get from life, but at the same time this is the best tool to enter what fate prepared you.

Jasosy is the source lies in the edge of the peoples.

R.M. Rilek

The shadow of death, suffering and the muks of hell is felt particularly acute, and it comes from the feeling that you will leave God ... And in the soul there is a terrible premonition that it will always be ... The soul sees himself in the very center of the diverse forms of evil, among the pitiful imperfections, devastated, thirsty of understanding and abandoned in darkness.

San Juan de la Cruz, "Dark Night of the Soul"

"When the transformation process reaches the highest point decisive, its last stage is often accompanied by strong suffering and internal overalls. Christian mystics called this state" Dark Night of the Soul ". Outwardly, it resembles a disease that psychiatrists are called depressive psychosis or melancholy. Her signs: Depression up to despair; a pronounced sense of self-restlessness; acute self-construct is completely hopeless and cursed; the depressing sense of paralysis of the mind, the loss of the will and self-control force, resistance and braking in relation to any actions. Some of these symptoms may appear in a less pronounced form and on Previous stages, not reaching, however, the tensions of the "dark night soul"

Mystics of the last century saw in it the way to "pure vision": "Because the path of suffering is much more reliable than the path of joy." They considered bitterness of depression, as a means to leave the world behind themselves and break into shining equilibrium and harmony. This is a shock like "gates of great despair, gates discovering the path to the new Being." Depression or "Dark Night" is at the same time destruction and rebirth.

* I am convinced that a person who did not taste the bitterness of despair, has not yet known the meaning of life *.

Serena Kierkegan

Paradoxically, along with the delight of the realization of our Divine Communication, strong feelings of depression, madness, hopelessness and loneliness, which can last for several months or years in a row can occur. All this happens when we pass through this cleansing and our ego begins to lose its influence on us.

Dark night is part of the spiritual path. It transfers us to hidden areas of our nature and can spill on the surface many of our shortcomings. Then their presence can be realized and will allow you to clean our personality from them. All this can be quite painful and keep a person in a state of emotional failure and helplessness. Life in everyday reality, as a rule, can become a very difficult and challenging task. Hope and plans are crumbling, and this is further immersed in depression, but at the same time a person gains freedom - yes, perhaps he is not given to be in the only future planned to them.

But if he finds courage to look around, he will see that he has much more opportunities. And it is likely that the planned path is not the best way for his soul. And it would be nice, it would be time for random and contemplation, but most often a distorted depressive thinking that constantly chasing the thoughts about hopelessness, about his own worthlessness, does not allow to realize the situation. Naturally, in order to start something new, the forces are needed, and for this, depression must pass. You have to wait. Sometimes very long ...

* For when I am dismissed, then I am strong. * Apostle Paul

In this new era, when incoming insights and the ability to communicate with the Spirit turns hardly on a weekly phenomenon, dark night often manifests itself in the disappearance of these familiar phenomena.

When, obeying the high laws of the Spirit, great teachers - sources of spiritual assistance - are removed, then leave a fragrant trace, which is very quickly replaced by a wall of impermeable darkness. Can something be replaced by such proximity and mutual love of the Spirit and to the Spirit? And very quickly arises the idea that only something that is not worthy of love can be rejected. And the torment begins.

It seems that when this inevitable drama is played, spiritually well-read and educated people and those who one or two lives at the feet of the teacher at the feet react particularly sharply to this natural law, throwing themselves on others or wounded themselves.

Although this path is difficult and does not inspire confidence, the dark night still has its value for the soul. During the dark night, the soul cleans himself, conscious of his own shortcomings while the path is wide, you can imitate dedicated, but when it ultimately narrows, then only truly aspiration will be able to endure everything to the end.

* Accept this suffering, for you learn from it. * Ovid.

Some of the mystics believed that the human soul would be better if he himself would not interfere with the process of exiting depression: "A man in a dark night knows that his illness can only heal the Lord. And therefore, he does not allow himself to disperse the darkness by artificial lights, he must wait until the Sun of the Lord of Lodge goes. Otherwise, the disaster "Night" would not make sense "

* Being in the light, it is impossible to see anything in the dark. Staying in the dark, you will see everything that is in the light. * Guan Yin-Tzu

As the distance between the small "I" and the soul increases, the distance between the light and darkness increases, turning the goods of life for no more than in abstraction and distracting factors falling on a heavy burden on the shoulders, which are suddenly fragile and unreliable.

And if now you are depressed - your actions, thoughts, the worldship are not as usual, not like those of the people. And it suppresses even more, causing dive even deeper. But look around, look at the people who surround you. Many opportunities to be a person Many of them are replaced by a single opportunity - to be normal, to be "like everything." It often succeeds, and every year, the voice of a true me sounds all quieter, the uniqueness is incompected, this is completely normal depression, the depression of self-praise, when the person performs violence with one goal to be normal. Remember - depression (from the word depress - suppress). Wherever we obey the will of the circumstances, instead of building our own life, where we do something on the template, for the earset of money, where in favor of a purely manipulative demand we cease to perceive our own needs - we live in a completely normal depression.

If the dark night entered your life, do not give up! All life is only a chain of events and crises requiring us to make certain decisions. With the right output from the crisis - we move to a new stage of development, when trying to simply dismiss it - we turn back in place or at all rolled back. Depression is probably one of the most severe crises that a person is experiencing throughout life. And if you, despite all the precautions, were in this state, try to use this situation for yourself. When the madness ends when it finally releases and signs the act of surrender, comes accepting and confidence that God is part of you. The ego will have a much smaller impact on your life, and the light will illuminate new goals and adventures of spiritual life. Your path will be illuminated by the influence of divine synchronous events, and your real missions of this life will unfold in front of you, putting everything in place, as a magic wand.

* Do not be afraid of suffering. You have a strong soul, and therefore they suffer stronger others and try to avoid it in every way. But suffering leads to heights and the whole world thanks to him becomes better. * Ivan Efremov

The phenomenon, known as the dark night of the soul, is experiencing many of the spiritual seekers in their.

This phenomenon can be a painful and frightening process, but at the same time liberating and helping.

Luke cleaning

The words "night" can mislead. In fact, this is a process. I doubt that someone wanted to experience process of purification All right away. Duration and intensity is determined by the degree of necessary cleansing.

Think about it as a cleaning of the bow. Each layer that you take off, makes your eyes get toales. You stop for a while to come to yourself, and then remove the following layer.

At some point you reach the core and are in the center of yours. This is the hardest last part of the process. You collect all your strength and abilities to meet face to face with your main problem (or problems).

Your Higher I will not allow you to access the core while you are not ready.

The good news is that you encountered the worst. Nothing from the fact that you have learned before during this process will never be so strong as this initial pain you have experienced.

You were strong enough to resist her once, so you are even more able to let her go now. As soon as cleansing, the pain goes forever.

Death ego

Essentially, the dark night of the soul is the death of malicious ego. I say "malicious," because the ego, in fact, is not bad and in need of destruction.

The ego gives the illusion of the department so that we can explore creatures other than the united field of love from which we happened.

The ego in its current form, however, is overly dominant. We live in egocentric era.

The cult of the ego is celebrated through our worship of celebrities, glory, wealth, superficial beauty and strength. Narcissical behavior is often rewarded in this ego-leading environment.

The external world is the result of the projection of our malignant collective state. It goes without saying, the ego is unfavorable to the process of awakening and enlightenment.

It sees the wake-up process as a threat to its existence, and, in many ways, it is correct. As soon as you start remembering your divine originThe attractiveness of the ego decreases.

Ultimately, understanding of his divinity is what breaks the power of the ego over you, and it begins to disappear. From the point of view of the ego, it means death.

It is not going to give up without a fight. The key is not to resist the ego. But the failure to him is not easy.

In fact, your ego will do everything that in his power to return to the former power, but your higher I know better.

Existential crisis

When we wake up from the shadow of our sleepy life on Earth to the unlimited, shapeless, eternal nature of the soul, the forms and thoughts on the thoughts of our life begin to dissolve.

The basis of human existence itself is crumbling, which leads to existential crisis faith.

Symptoms include:

 • deep self-analysis and longing;
 • misunderstanding of the meaning and purpose of life;
 • the feeling that life is meaningless;
 • isolation, sense of loneliness, cutoff from others;
 • craving for death;
 • the feeling of emptiness, no joy.

Your existential crisis can cut you from others. You yourself fight in your internal battle. This is akin to depression, except that it has a spiritual, not mental character.

The ego struggles for their lives, and thus it resists the cleaning process. Remember, however, these symptoms are due to the desire of the Ego to survive.

The soul knows that everything makes sense, joy and beauty. After you replace your ego to your soul, life becomes bright again.

Fire cleansing

When the territory of your ego is revealed, your external world will reflect your internal processes. All that does not serve your Higher Good, disappears.

Although this stage may seem destructive and painful, in reality it helps to destroy the power of the ego over you, forcing him to abandon everything that he is so expensive.

It looks like an old proverb that says: "Beware of a man who has nothing to lose." This man is absolutely fearless.

When you lose everything that is valuable for your ego, its fear-based remover relaxes.

Please note that I am not promoting that you should lose everything. I just explain what sometimes happens during the process.

For example, if you face a person with loss (divorce, loss of work or bankruptcy), know what happened to weaken the power of the ego over you.

The more dramatic loss, the faster the process of cleansing. As soon as you get free from the ego-fear, you will free more space in your home of the soul for love, wisdom, beauty and joy.

Resurrection of Phoenix.

At a certain point, the situation may seem gloomy and hopeless, but, as old wisdom says: "Darkness is thickened before dawn." I compare it with immersion in dark depths.

You feel as if you never see the light of the day again, that everything is lost. Then suddenly your feet touch the bottom, and you are able to push off the ground and get impulse move back to the light.

You have almost passed this teaching turn, and when you pop up on the other side of the dark night, you again acquire the joy and beauty of the world.

You are Phoenix, which has passed. After you get rid of ego-fears, you will be born again as a free, happy, highly vibration version of yourself.

Dark night soul: ways out of depression

1. Think of high prospects.

Understanding that darkness, fears and ego are all illusions. You are a child of love and light. Your real experiences are just a dream that dreams of your soul. She wants you to better understand love and light, but it is impossible without contrast.

From the moment of understanding that the ego is not real, try to change its nature from a narcissistic dictator in a small frightened child. Then, when it happens, love and nature will take a place of fear or take control over it.

2. Do not resist.

Do not resist this process. The more resistance, the more painful symptoms. Remember that all you are resisting, persistently saved.

Do not give your own ego anything against yourself. Simply follow the flow. Remember: the ego fights for his life.

Instead of searching, how to destroy it, love him and learn him to trust your spirit to keep you safe. The ego can vote.

3. Do not bind.

Let go All that no longer serves your highest good.

It doesn't matter how terrible it may seem until you allow a scary, based on the ego elements, to leave your life, nothing new, raising the Spirit, cannot come into it.

Think about it as a cleaning of the house. You lead your ship in the dark to pave the way to the light.

4. Contact spiritual mentors.

Enjoy the support of the spiritual spheres.

Call on your spiritual mentors: a soul of families who have gone loved ones, angels, ascended masters, totem animals, the mother of the land, the Father Sun, the creator, God and the goddesses, anyone, with whom you resonate.

Be open assistance in any form.

5. Look for related support.

There are many others who are now experiencing or recently survived the dark night of the soul. Ask your spiritual mentors to find these people or help them find you.

Then pay attention to the messages you get intuitive. If the stranger stops talking to you, he or she can be yours Native soul.

6. Give yourself a loving care.

You need additional love and tender care right now. Be your own best friend.. Talk to yourself carefully and with love.

Release debts and commitments that deplete you. Install healthy borders for others. Eat healthy food, drink plenty of clean water.

Rest when tired and practicing exercises on attention, such as yoga, tai chi, qigong.

Energy medicine can also help alleviate the severity and duration of symptoms. First of all, never forget that you are precious child of Divine.

The shadow of death, suffering and the muks of hell is felt particularly acute, and it comes from the feeling that you will leave God ... And in the soul there is a terrible premonition that it will always be ... The soul sees himself in the very center of the diverse forms of evil, among the pitiful imperfections devastated, thirsty understanding and abandoned in darkness.
San Juan de la Cruz, "Dark Night of the Soul"

Failures are not evidence of illusory weakness or insolvency, it is a catastrophe ego. This is their spiritual meaning.

Stanislav Grof.
Dark night soul (passage)<

The following pages will describe some of the most common critical and having difficulties of experiences that come to the surface from a complex and intricate inner world of personality during the transformation process and which we are familiar with both our own experience and reports of other people. We hope that we do not discourage the reader in that we will start to understand now in these hard experiences. The dark night of the soul is just one aspect of the spiritual journey, and there are many others, much more pleasant.
The purpose of our study of this topic is, firstly, in order to express an unusual sequence of states during the transformation process. Although there are many exceptions, but most people who are experiencing a spiritual crisis still have to be immersed in dark areas and pass through them before they have achieved the state of freedom, light and peace. For those who take such a path, positive sensations are often represented later more significant and intense in contrast with those heavy experiences with which they had to encounter earlier. Just as the sunrise is perceived especially bright and instant hope after a long winter night, so joy seems particularly strong after pain.
I remember this, you can ask the following question: what are those dark areas through which a person may have to go through? What are they like? And what kind of conflicts may arise there?
For some people in the spiritual crisis - both in his dramatic and softer forms, is the task of living another day, the task to keep the ability to act in the usual way can be a serious challenge. Normal, apparent simple activity, which is part of everyday life, can suddenly become a predicising or causing depression. Often, individuals in the crisis are filled with internal experiences, which are so saturated with emotions, power and energy power, which is difficult to separate live and bright images of the inner world from external reality events. In such situations, it is often difficult to maintain a concentration of attention, and this can cause great difficulties in people who are experiencing a crisis. The cause of panic can be both fast, frequent changes of states of consciousness. Unable to function in its usual way, people in such a situation feel their impotence, inefficiency and guilt.
One woman so described her problems: "I could see and understand that there are things to do at home, but I had such a feeling that there is a certain wall between me and these things that I used to perform without any effort. I I remembered that I need to go out to make some job in the garden, and knew that this activity could be useful. However, I had such a feeling that if I leave so far, I could explode. On all those artistic and creative Projects that were so pleased before, it was too difficult to focus too much. And even the game with my children seemed to me too complex task. The only thing I could do at this time is something to take care of myself. "
Among the most severe and disturbing states with which they usually have to face a person who worries a spiritual crisis, you can call a feeling of fear, the feeling of your own madness and concern death. Although these states are often the inevitable, necessary and central parts of the healing process, they may become frightening and predominant, especially when there is no support from other people.
Of the revealing gates of the unconscious to the surface, a wide variety of depressed emotions and memories are broken. When a person faces specific memories or experiences from personal or non-passionate, transpersonal, regions, he can have experiences associated with fear, loneliness, madness and death. A person can converge memories of experienced severe diseases that threaten the lives of cases or other disturbing events from infancy and childhood. Also, biological birth with all its complex, chaotic and dynamic manifestations may be recovered.
A person can also face the experiences of fear, loneliness, madness or death during transparsonal states arising from the collective unconscious or even from the regions of a universal scale. Transpersonal areas contain both bright and dark elements; Fear can also cause those and others, "positive" and "negative". Someone can fight a monstrous mythological demon or survive a new battle that was in another era - a sense of anxiety and fear in such situations is inevitable. The fact that the feeling of fear sometimes occurs when the individual moves in the field of light and beauty, can puzzle. In the next chapter, we will discuss the challenge that is contained in the "positive" reality.
Many people spend years with the feeling that their familiar world is well organized and that they have complete power over their lives. When they discover that they do not fully control the trajectory of their being, they can experience a sense of emergency freedom. But it happens that people are frightened, especially if they completely identify themselves with their permanent loads of life. They will ask themselves: "If I don't control my life, then who? And whether he is, she or it is what manages my life, - quite deserving confidence? Can I give myself a certain unknown strength and know What will this power take care of me? "
Failing to the fear of loss of control, the mind and "ego" become very sophisticated in their efforts to cling to anything; people who are in such situations can create complex refutation systems, convincing themselves that the way of life they lead is completely remarkable and that there is no need for any changes, or that the changes they feel are simply illusory . These people can try to intellectually interpret the states of mind that they are worried, creating sophisticated theories in order to explain them. Or they may try to simply avoid these states at all. Sometimes the feeling of anxiety becomes defense: when a person clings for his feeling of fear, it can quite successfully protect it from too fast growth.
There is another form of loss of control, far from so gradual and more dramatic. Being in the spiritual crisis, a person may feel overwhelmed by powerful episodes of experiences, during which he completely loses control over his behavior. In such situations, the individual can explode from anger, poured with tears, trembling hard or shriek - as it has never done this before. Such an unimpeded release of emotions can be extremely liberating, but before it happens, a person can survive an extremely strong fear of the power of his feelings and resistance to this force. After such an explosion, the individual feels frightened and shakes what he allowed him to manifest his expression with such force.

LONELINESS.

Loneliness is another essential component of the spiritual crisis. It can be stated in a wide range - from a vague and indefinite sense of separation from other people and from the world to deep and complete absorption existential alienation. Some of the sensations of the inner isolation are related to the fact that people during the experience of the spiritual crisis face face to face with the unusual states of consciousness, which differ from the everyday experiences of their friends and family members, and they never heard someone to describe something Similar. However, existential loneliness seems to be something that has very little common with any personal or other external influences.
Many people experiencing the transformation process feel their isolation from others because of the very nature of those experiences faced. Since the inner world becomes more active at this time, then a person feels the need to temporarily distract from everyday activity, being concerned about his intensive feelings, thoughts and internal processes. The significance of relations with other people can fade, and a person may even feel the violation of connections with the sensation of one who he is. When this happens, a person is experiencing completely absorbing his sense of separation from himself, from other people and from the surrounding world. For those who are in such a state, the usual human heat and support are not available.
A young teacher told us about the feeling of loneliness, experienced by him during the spiritual crisis: "Although I used to go to bed at night in bed with my wife, I felt a complete and unconditional loneliness. For my crisis, my wife provided me with great help and tried to create comfortable conditions for me. But during the period, when I felt loneliness, everything that would be done, did not help me - no tender hug, nor any degree of support. "
We often heard individuals who are experiencing a spiritual crisis, said: "No one passed through it before. I am the only one who feels it!" Such people not only feel that this process is unique and unique for them, but also convinced that no one in history experienced anything like that. It may be because they are so convinced of the specificity of their experiences, that only a certain confidence in the therapist or teacher is capable of sympathetic and helping them. Strong emotions and unfamiliar sensations of such people are sometimes so far away from the previous existence that they can easily assume that they are abnormal. They feel that something is happening with them something wrong and that no one can understand them. If such people turn to those psychotherapists who missed them, then the feeling of intensive isolation is only increasing.
During the existential crisis, a person feels his conclusion from his deep essence, from the highest strength, from God - and a man, be as if it depends precisely from that something that is outside of its individual resources and provides it with force and inspiration. The result is the most devastating type of loneliness, total and complete existential alienation, which penetrates into all the human being. It was expressed in the words of one woman who worried the spiritual crisis: "I was surrounded by great loneliness. I had such a feeling that every cell of my creature was in a state of complete loneliness. I presented myself standing on a rock, pierced by the wind and looking into the Black Sky. , Typing by the feeling of unity with God, but only in front of me was only black. It was something more than human abdomen; this feeling was total. "
This deep sense of isolation can come to many people, regardless of their personal history, and this is often the main component of spiritual transformation. Irina Tedidi, a woman from Russia, who studied at the Sufi Masters in India, wrote in his book "Fireless Abyss":
"The Great Palmistry was here ... A strange, a special sense of complete loneliness ... It could not be compared with any of those states of loneliness with which we are faced in our daily life. Everything seemed dark and lifeless. Nowhere, never in anything There was no meaning or purpose. There was no God, who could be praying. There was no hope. There was nothing at all. "
This feeling of limiting insulation was expressed in the lonely prayer of Jesus, crucified on the cross: "My God, why did you leave me?" People who were in such a state trying to explain their fundamental feeling, often lead the example of Christ at this hardest moment of his life. They cannot find any connection with the Divine, and instead are forced to endure a painful feeling of humiliation by God. Even when such a person is surrounded by love and support, it can be filled with deep and painful loneliness. When a person descends into the abyss of existential alienation, then human warmth, however it would be larger than it, nothing can change anything.
Those who face an existential crisis, not only feel their isolation, but feel their perfect insignificance, like useless dusting in huge space. The whole universe seems absurd and meaningless, and any human activity seems trivial. These people can perceive all of humanity as immersed in an insignificant, similar to the mouse. Existence that does not have any benefit or meaning. When these people are in such a state, it seems to them that there is no cosmic order, and they do not have any contact with spiritual power. It seems to them that there is no way out of their insignificant state.

Insulating behavior

The man during the spiritual crisis may try to be "other" for a while. In our culture of the established rules and a rigid calculation, a person who begins to be internally change may not seem quite healthy. He may once show his fortune, starting at work or at the dinner table to talk about his new ideas or discoveries - for example, about his feelings related to death, or ask questions about her birth; can talk about memories associated with long hidden details of family history; On the unusual prospects for solving world problems or the fundamental nature of the Universe.
The abstractness of these problems and the obstacle with which a person talks about them can lead to the fact that colleagues, friends and family members will begin to experience alienation from him, which will only increase the already having a sense of loneliness. A person may change interests and values, and he may no longer want to participate in any activity. Or, for example, it may no longer attract an idea to spend the evening with friends for a bottle, which will lead to what he can produce an unpleasant impression on others.
People in such a situation are experiencing very unusual feelings related to the nature itself of those experiences through which pass. They may feel growing and changing unlike the rest of the world, so frozen in immobility that no one can follow them. Or these people can captivate such activities that are not supported by their relatives. A person can suddenly be interested in prayer, to meditation, to some esoteric systems, such as astrology or alchemy, which will seem strange for family and friends and will only strengthen their desire to turn away from such a person.
People in the transformative process can change their appearance dramatically. They can handle their heads or, on the contrary, grow hair; Can express attachment to clothing clearly different from the norm. A number of examples of this can be found in the psychedelic culture of the sixties and the seventies, when many had spiritual insights, but did not express them in ways acceptable to society, but preferred to send these insights to the formation of a separate "countercultitude", with characteristic expressive clothing, decorations, Long hair and even brightly colored cars.
Other examples can be found in various religious groups. Dedicated to Zen Buddhism can handle their heads and live in demonstrative simplicity.
The followers of Rajnish Guru not only carry the clothes of a certain color, but also put on rosary with a portrait of a teacher in the middle, called Mala, changing their usual names on Indian-style names. The followers of orthodox judaism often wear ermolki and long beards, leading a strictly religious lifestyle. Those who are counting themselves to the community of followers of spiritual practice will be tolerable to such forms of behavior or even encourage them. However, those who adopt suddenly decide to follow such obviously expressive forms of behavior, for some time will be in a situation where they will be deprived of any support, and can feel even greater isolation.
For many of those who experience the spiritual crisis, the transformation occurs without such sharp external manifestations of its alienation. But there are also obvious changes in behavior. For some, such new behavioral methods are a temporary stage of spiritual development, and for others they can become a permanent part of their new lifestyle.

The experience of the "madness"

During the spiritual crisis, the role of the logical mind often weakens the multicolor, rich world of intuition, inspiration and imagination begins to prevail. Common sense becomes a limiting factor, and genuine revelations begin to come from something that is outside of intelligence. For some individuals, these travels in the field of vizier experience can be spontaneous, exciting and creative. But more often all this, clearly connected with those states that are considered normal, leads many people to the conclusion that they go crazy.
The weakening of rationality is the natural part of spiritual development - often leads to the disappearance of old restrictions of traditional thinking, and this can sometimes serve as an alternation of the emergence of a new, wider understanding and greater inspiration. At the same time, what disappears is actually not an ability to reasonably reason - although sometimes it can also be that - but only those restrictions in the knowledge that hold a person in a state of compression and inability to change.
At a time when this happens, consistent thinking seems impossible sometimes, and the person is experiencing a mental concern that his conscious mind is subjected to a pressure released from the unconscious. Suddenly, strange and disturbing emotions can occur, and rationality, once that was so familiar, it turns out to be useless in attempts to explain what is happening. This moment in spiritual development can be very frightening. However, if the individual is really involved in the process of self-discharge, then all these concerns will soon pass, and this moment itself can be a very important phase of transformation.
Some spiritual traditions offer an alternative vision of "madness" of this kind. "Sacred Madness", or "Divine Madness" knows and is recognized as various spiritual teachings, and it is considered them different from ordinary madness, perceived as a form of intoxication Divine, which gives a person an emergency ability and spiritual instructions. In such traditions such as Sufism and the culture of America Indians, sacral figures of fools, or jesters, are the embodiment of this state. The consistent seats, the prophets and mystics are often described as inspired by that madness.
Divine madness was described by the Greek philosopher Plato as a gift of the gods:
"The greatest blessing comes through the madness, Tai, as if madness and in fact the message of heaven. This is in a state of insanity of the priest in Dodfa and the priestess Dodona achieved that they were grateful to Greece and the state, and individual people. When these priests are in Sassie mind, they can very little or even nothing at all ... Therefore, insanity and is a divine gift coming by the grace of the gods. "
In the culture that exists on Okinawa island, such a condition is called Kamidari. This is the period during which the spirit of man suffers, the time of testing, when a person cannot act rationally. The community supports such individuals, recognizing that their unusual state is a sign of proximity to God. In addition, this person is worshiped as a Divine Mission - maybe a mission of a healer or teacher.

Collision with symbolic death

Concontunch with manifestations of death is the central part of the transformation process and the component of most spiritual crises. This is part of a powerful development cycle, in which what is really dying is an old way of being, which inhibit the growth of the individual. From this point of view, each in one form or another dies many times throughout his life. In many traditions, the idea of "dying to death" is fundamentally important for spiritual development. Calculating the fact that death is part of a continuous sequence of life, relieves a person from fear of death and reveals in front of him the possibility of the experience of immortality.
In the XVII century, the Christian monk Abraham from Santa Clara wrote: "A man who died before his death, not dying during death."
The description of the meeting with his own death is given in the book "The game of Consciousness" by Swam Muktananda. He brightly describes not only the experience of dying, but also movement to revival:
"I was terrified by death. My prana (breathing, life force) stopped his movement. My mind could not function more. I felt my prana leaves my body ... I lost all the powers of my body. Like a dying, whose mouth opens, And the hands are stretched, I published a strange sound and fell to the floor ... I completely lost consciousness. I came to myself about an hour and a half, and it seemed to be funny to speak myself: "I did not die so long ago, but I'm alive again!" I got up, feeling deep peace, love and joy. I realized that I experienced death ... Now I knew what to die, and death ceased to be terrible for me. I became completely fearless. "
Meeting with death can manifest itself in various forms. One of them is a confrontation with its own mortality. The one who avoids those associated with death will most likely have difficulty acquiring deep internal experience, which shows the person that his life is transient and that death is inevitable. Many people unconsciously retain the child's idea that they are immortal, and when they face tragedies of life, they reject them with the usual statement: "It happens with other people. This will not happen to me."
When the spiritual crisis cites such people to a essential understanding of their mortality, they begin to experience extreme resistance. They will do anything, if only to avoid what scares them: perhaps, they will try to suspend the process that originates with them by means of hard work, excessive sociability, short and random relations or by taking overwhelming drugs or alcohol. In conversations, they can avoid the theme of death or try to make it up, moving to relatively safer conversation topics. Other can suddenly realize the process of aging, both their own and other people close to them.
Some come to an unexpected awareness of the fragility of life, as in the case that describes one patient, teacher by profession: "For some time, I treated with frivolousness to the idea of my own mortality. I were familiar to some ideas of Christianity and Buddhism about the continuity of the entire existing, but I never took it like something related to me directly. Then the day came when the Spaceship "Challenger" exploded. I watched it on TV and saw the seven astronauts mad for goodbye and rose into a spacecraft, which He became a deadly trap. They had no opportunity to know that these are the last minutes of their lives. At that instant, they were all confident in their lives, which soon worried. Watching this terrible drama, I seemed to have experienced it myself. The truth was written by philosophers: Our life Efemerne, and we all actually have only a moment of the present. Not the past, no future - only the present.
Such a discovery can empty people who are not inclined or not ready to face their fear of death, but it can also become liberating for those who are ready to take the fact of their mortality, since the complete adoption of death can free them in order to enjoy every moment of life.
Another type of such experiences is the death of a limited way of thought or lifestyle. When a person begins to change, he can find it necessary to discard some restrictions that impede its growth. Sometimes it happens almost in its will, by means of very regular therapy or spiritual practice, which forces a person to consciously free himself from old restrictions. It happens that this is generally happening by itself, as a natural part of the development of this person.
However, for many people who are experiencing a spiritual crisis, this process is rapid and unexpected. Suddenly they feel that their comfort and safety disappear, as if they received a certain impetus in an unknown direction. Familiar methods of being not seem to be suitable and replaced by new ones. The individual, with which such a change occurs, feels unable to cling to any manifestations of life, is experiencing fear and cannot return to the old behavior and old interests. A person can feel that everything that he was once was, what was the attention showed, now dies. And this process is irreversible. Thus, a person can be absorbed by a huge longing in his dying old essence.
The state of liberation from various roles, relations, from the world and itself is another form of symbolic death. It is well known to various spiritual systems as the first goal of domestic development. Such an exemption from the old is necessary in life with an event, and it naturally happens at the time of death - at the time when each human being fully understands that we will not be able to carry with them the material things that we own, our terrestrial roles and all of our Relations with the world that we leave. The practice of meditation and other forms of self-examination lead seekers to a collision with these experiences even before the moment of physical death occurs. Such experiences give people freedom to be able to fully rejoice in everything that have in life.
Poet TS Elliot wrote:

In an effort to have what you do not have,
You will have to go along the path of liberation from the possession.
In the desire where you are not,
You will have to go along the way that you are not yet.

In Buddhism, attachment or addiction to the manifestations of the material world is considered the root of all suffering, and the refusal of this attachment is the key to spiritual liberation. There is a similar idea in other traditions, and I was also expressed by Patanjali in yoga sutra: "The lack of every indulgence at the moment when the seeds of attachment to suffering were destroyed, pure being is achieved."
More or less radical extension regularly occurs during the spiritual crisis process, and if this happens, it can lead to strengthening stress and confusion. When a person begins to change, his attitude towards his beloved people, to activities, to the usual roles in life also begins to change. A man who believes that his family belongs to him, suddenly discovers that attachment to his wife and children only brings him greater pain. It can also get an insight that the only constant thing in life is changes and that he may lose everything that he thought belongs to him.
The discoveries of this kind can lead to the realization that death ultimately equalizes everyone, and even if a person denies her reality in his life, all the same will once need to give her tribute. During passing through these experiences, individuals have to be subjected to a painful state, the inability to engage in everyday affairs to which they are attached to what they seem to perpetuate their suffering. The process of deducting from attachments by itself is a form of death, the death of affection. In some people, this impulse to the abundance is very strong, they begin to be afraid that in this way they are really preparing for those who hung over them.
In the individuals at this stage of spiritual self-reflection, the incorrect representation often arises that the completion of changes occurring with them will mean a complete departure from the bonds meaningful in their daily life, and this will enhance this new need for internal absence of external manifestations of dismissions. Such people may experience a strong inner need to be released from all limiting their conditions, and if they do not have a revelation that this process of deduction can be completed completely at the inner level, they are mistakenly starting to transfer it to their daily life. In the sixties and at the beginning of the seventies, many of those people who reached this stage with the help of experiments with changing the consciousness with technicians and psychotropic substances, also showed it in external forms of behavior, really leaving their family and social roles, thus creating a countercultitude, Attempting to embody their newly open understanding.
At one of our seminars, a lawyer was attended, who achieved the same critical moment during his spiritual journey and, referring to us, asked with despair: "Does this mean that I should leave everything for what I worked all this time? I love My family and your work. I have been married for twenty years and is very tied to my wife. My legal practice flourishes, I like to do what I do. But everything inside me tells me what I have to come to quit it all . Maybe I'm close to death? What should I do? "
After discussing this, he acknowledged that there is no need to abandon his quite good and productive lifestyle and that the process of his spiritual disclosure does not lead him to physical death. On the contrary, he reached the usual and quite natural stage of the abundance, at which he had the need to abandon emotional attachment to some important elements of his life. He turned out to be able to understand that everything that needs to die at this stage is only his limited, making it the most clamped attitude towards the roles familiar to him, and that the inner discarding them can highly release him in order to function more effective.
An important way to experience symbolic death during the transformation is the death of the "ego". During the process of spiritual self-refining, a person moves from a relatively limited method of being to new, greater conditions. Sometimes for the completeness of this shift it is necessary that the old forms of existence "died", opening the way for the manifestation of a new "I" of a person; "Ego" must be destroyed before it becomes possible a new, wider "I". This is called the death of "ego". In fact, this is not the death of that "ego", which is necessary for functioning in everyday reality; This is the death of old personality structures and ineffective ways of being in the world, which is necessary to achieve a happier and more free existence.
Ananda K. Kumaravami wrote about this: "There is no such creature that could achieve the highest level of being without the cessation of its usual existence."
The death of the "ego" can occur gradually, for a long period of time, and it can happen suddenly and with a huge force. Although it is one of the most useful and most healing moments in spiritual evolution, it can be perceived as a catastrophe. During this stage, the process of dying can sometimes be very realistic, as if it is no longer a symbolic experience, but a real biological catastrophe. As a rule, a person at the same time cannot yet see the on the other side of what is perceived as the total destruction of the "ego" and what is a wider, comprehensive feeling of its true entity. The following lines from Phoenix D. Lawrence reflect the nature of this empty, but transforming process:

Would you like to be squeezed,
purified to limit crossed out of life
did you get anything?
Do you want to be anything else?
Immersed in oblivion?
If not, you do not want to change truly.

When people are immersed in the death process of "ego", they often feel so crowded with these experiences and empty that everything they have or what they were, seem to be squeezed at the point without any hope of any update. While all identification in these individuals are destroyed, they lose their confidence in their place in this world, in the fact that they are indeed parents, employees and generally effective human beings. Old interests are inappropriate, ethical beliefs change, friends go away, and the person himself loses the confidence that it can effectively function in everyday life. In the inner world, they can experience the gradual loss of identity and feel that their essence on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels is destroyed by an unexpected force. Such people may feel that they actually die, suddenly faced with their deepest fear.
Using therapy, spiritual practice and other forms of self-examination, it is possible to complete the symbolic process of dying at the internal level. A person can die internally, while remaining alive and healthy.
