Innovative activity on the example of creating a plant for growing viable juvenile trepang. Trepang production - how the trepang is made

Trepang is an invertebrate animal with a unique healing effect that lives in sea water... Its beneficial properties have been widely appreciated in oriental medicine as a remedy for many ailments. Ancient Chinese practitioners used it as a drug to rejuvenate and prolong life. It was used for beauty and treatment of many diseases, in particular inflammation of various kinds, impotence, senile dementia and other ailments. The healing properties of the marine life were equated with ginseng.

Other names for trepang - "sea ginseng", "sea root", "sea cucumber"... Mentions of the wonder animal are found in ancient practices dating back to the 16th century. Nowadays, it has the scientific name "stichopus japonicus", but is known to most as trepang.

Indications for use

Preparations based on an invertebrate marine animal are actively used not only in traditional medicine, but also in the pharmaceutical industry. Trepanga is used for the production of preparations for the restoration of joints.... Japanese scientists have isolated a component from it that prevents the development of cancer cells. There is also evidence of the effectiveness of extracts of marine life in AIDS.

The folk remedy has a rejuvenating, restorative, health-improving effect on the human body. Trepang-based preparations are recommended for use in the following cases:

  • ulcers, inflammatory processes of the digestive tract;
  • hepatitis, liver cirrhosis, pancreatitis;
  • hormonal imbalance;
  • disorders of the genital area;
  • diseases of the supporting apparatus - arthritis, arthrosis;
  • diseases of the organs of vision;
  • avitaminosis;
  • BPH;
  • tumors of a benign nature of the uterus, mammary glands;
  • eczema;
  • pathology of the cardiovascular system;
  • circulatory disorders;
  • tuberculosis and others.

In folk medicine, preparations based on sea cucumber are actively used to treat cardiac pathologies, as well as to lower blood pressure. Means based on trepang are recommended to be used to increase immunity, after suffering serious illnesses to accelerate the recovery of a weakened body.

Beneficial features

The emperors of the eastern countries considered the sea cucumber a source of health, strength... They were sure that the regular use of dishes from it could prolong the time of their reign. Today it has been proven that the intake of a sea animal in food contributes to the renewal of cells and tissues.

Modern research confirms that the tissues of marine life contain many microelements, biologically active substances that have a positive effect on the human body. Traditional medicine recommends trepang-based remedies for almost any disease. In herbal medicine, it is actively used to treat diseases of the heart, blood, normalize metabolic processes, to increase vitality, and so on.

Trepang-based drugs have an immunostimulating, hepatoprotective, antioxidant, antiseptic effect, as well as:

  • provide cleaning of blood vessels by dissolving cholesterol plaques on their walls;
  • bind toxins in the liver and remove them from the body;
  • form a protective sheath of neurons, ensuring the transmission of nerve impulses;
  • improve metabolic processes in the body;
  • help to improve the quality of blood;
  • tones up, improves immunity;
  • rid the body of intoxication;
  • improve regeneration, rejuvenate tissues;
  • restore vascular elasticity, normalize heart function, blood pressure;
  • fill with energy, relieve fatigue, improve brain activity, sleep, help with depression, help improve mood.

The unique properties of the trepang lie in the fact that pathogenic microflora does not develop in the body of this animal. It neutralizes disease-causing bacteria inside its body, and also purifies water near its habitat. With the loss of any part of its body, the trepang does not die, but is actively restored and after a few months it reaches its original appearance.

Composition

Trepang has a rich composition... In terms of the amount of valuable ingredients, no other organism can compare with it. In the tissues of an invertebrate marine animal, there are biologically active substances valuable for humans:

  • Unsaturated fatty acids.
  • Iodine, magnesium, iron, manganese, phosphorus, copper, calcium.
  • B vitamins, in particular B1, B2, B3 and B12.
  • Prostaglandins. Hormone-like elements that promote the healing of wounds, ulcers, prevent blockage of blood vessels by relaxing smooth muscles.
  • Phosphatides. Very valuable and necessary for our body substances that are not synthesized in it on their own. Phosphatides are part of the structure of cell membranes and provide tissue repair in case of damage.
  • Methionine. The amino acid, which is part of protein structures, takes part in energy metabolism, helps in the transport of valuable substances, and reduces the severity of allergic reactions.

Trepang infusion with honey is a popular natural product... Due to the use of beekeeping products, the beneficial properties of the sea animal are enhanced at times. The extract in liquid form allows you to deliver the healing ingredients of sea ginseng to all organs and systems.

Mode of application

Depending on the form, the remedy is taken according to a certain scheme:

  • Trepang on honey... 1-2 tablespoons daily a quarter of an hour before breakfast for 3 weeks. The break between courses is 10 days.
  • Extraction for alcohol... 1 dessert spoon 3 times a day with meals or half an hour after meals. The duration of the course is a month, the break is 10-20 days.

It is also recommended to take preventive courses during the outbreak of epidemics to prevent diseases. With the correct use of folk remedies, you can improve the work of many organs and systems, strengthen the body's defenses, restore vigor and energy.

Contraindications

In addition to useful properties, the use of trepang can be harmful. Folk remedy is not recommended in the following cases:

  • pregnancy, lactation;
  • individual sensitivity to individual ingredients of the product.

Trepang with honey is used from 5 years old. Alcoholic infusion is contraindicated in children under 12 years of age.

Since trepang reduces blood pressure, the remedy is not recommended for hypotension. It should be taken with caution in case of hyperthyroidism. Before using a folk remedy, you should consult a doctor.

Pharmacological properties

Vitamins:
Trepang tissues contain almost the entire set of water-soluble vitamins: WITH, group B, PP, folic acid. Vitamin A F 3 times more than in fish. It is well known that it inhibits the formation of cholesterol, and its deficiency leads to infertility and kidney disease.
Provitamin A- one of the main vitamins that affect the good condition of the skin and mucous membranes, promote tissue regeneration and wound healing, is necessary to maintain normal vision and growth processes, and enhance immunity.
Vitamin B1(thiamine) - indispensable for the normal functioning of the digestion (assimilation of proteins, carbohydrates and fats for energy production) and the nervous system (affects mental abilities, for which it is called the "pep vitamin").
Vitamin B2(riboflavin) - participates in all types of body metabolism, growth processes, regulates the state of the central nervous system, is necessary for vision and skin health.
Vitamin B5(pantothenic acid) - plays an important role in metabolism, hemoglobin synthesis, adrenal and thyroid function. It is necessary to resist physical and emotional stress, improves concentration, resists aging and wrinkles.
Vitamin B9(folic acid) - ensures the stability of the nervous system, the productive work of the brain, the digestive system. It is necessary for the construction of new cells of skin, hair, immunity. Vitamin C(ascorbic acid) - helps to maintain healthy skin, teeth, bones, muscles. Strengthens the walls of blood vessels. Strong antioxidant.

Minerals:
Of the 40 elements of the periodic table found in trepang, the most important for the human body are represented in the largest amount:
Calcium- participates in the formation of bones, teeth and internal tissues of a person, the activity of the nervous and muscular systems, affects the heart rate, blood clotting.
Phosphorus- catalyzes the energy metabolism of cells, ensures the functioning of the brain, liver, kidneys and other organs.
Zinc- activates the hormones of the pituitary gland and the functions of the gonads, supports reproductive function, ensures normal blood formation, taste and smell.
Copper- participates in the process of hematopoiesis, metabolism, antioxidant.
Selenium- a powerful antioxidant, used for the prevention of cancer, increases the body's defenses (stimulates the formation of antibodies). Helps maintain and prolong sexual activity (lost with ejaculate).
Iodine- the most important element of the thyroid gland (iodine in the tissues of the sea cucumber is contained in an organic bound form, which makes it accessible for human perception), increases the body's defenses.
Cobalt- an extremely rare element - important for the prevention of malignant anemia.
Iron- is a part of hemoglobin, participates in redox processes.
Manganese- influences the condition of connective tissues, assimilation of calcium and phosphorus, promotes proper sugar metabolism.

Triterpene glycosides- the activity has been investigated against a very wide range of viruses, bacteria and fungi. It is due to the fact that glycosides are localized on the membranes of damaged and foreign cells and disrupt their normal function.
Cardiac glycosides- substances that have a selective effect on the cardiovascular system. Strengthen the contraction of the heart and lengthen the period of rest of the heart muscle. Reduces blood pressure by dilating the walls of blood vessels. As a result, the elasticity and permeability of the vessels is restored, congestion disappears, shortness of breath and swelling disappear.
Steroid Glycosides- inhibit the division of tumor cells and inhibit their growth. The formation of strong complexes from these glycosides and cholesterol leads to structural damage in the membranes of rapidly growing tumor cells.
Other fractions of glycosides- they optimize the energy supply of functional organs and systems: like insulin, they enhance the transport of glucose from the blood to the cells of the body, which reduces its concentration in the blood serum and stimulates the biosynthesis of proteins (the restoration of cells and tissues, efficiency, mood, memory, intelligence depends on this).
Mucopolysaccharides and chondroitins- strengthen connective tissues, help relieve inflammation of skeletal muscles, musculoskeletal system, including osteoarthritis, arthritis, ankylosing scondylitis. A set of acidic mucopolysaccharides, isolated from the connective tissue of sea cucumbers, have anti-inflammatory properties in various diseases, promote the formation of bone tissue, prevent tissue aging and atherosclerosis, and are effective antitumor agents.
Lipids. They intensify the redox processes in the body, reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood, participate in the action of hormones, calcium and energy metabolism.

Composition: trepang, ethyl alcohol. The alcohol content is not more than 20%, triterpene glycosides not less than 20 mg%.

Mode of application: adults 1 teaspoon daily with meals. Medical practice recommends taking it on an empty stomach to increase the effectiveness of the drug (preferably 15-30 minutes before a meal). Duration of admission is 20 days. It can be used for the prevention of infectious diseases in the autumn-winter period.

Contraindications: individual intolerance to the components, pregnancy, breastfeeding. It is recommended to consult a doctor before use.

Trepang species

There are 2 types of sea cucumber: sea cucumber growing in an artificial environment and wild, living in a natural environment.

It is not worth explaining that the mollusk growing in the real sea is of great value. Such an individual receives more nutrients, trace elements from its environment, which means that more of these substances are contained in the meat of a wild individual.

The water where the Sea Cucumber is obtained is always clear within a radius of several meters from its habitat. The mollusk itself is absolutely sterile; no pathogenic viruses or bacteria have ever been found in its cells.

How trepang is obtained

The extraction of sea cucumbers at the legislative level is allowed within a specified time frame. Considering that the Sea Cucumber can live at a depth of 150 m, catching it requires special equipment: boats, diving equipment. They find trepang right at the bottom of the sea. In calm weather, they can be caught closer to the shore on the rocks covered with algae.

Immediately after the catch, sea cucumbers are placed in seawater tanks, in which they are transported to production for further processing. At the same time, we strictly monitor that the time of catching and processing does not exceed 4-8 hours. This is one of the points that allows you to preserve all the beneficial substances of Sea Ginseng.

How is trepang made with honey in Vladivostok

Before processing trepangs are washed, freed from the viscera and thoroughly washed again for 2-4 hours. Then they are cut into large segments and filled with Far Eastern lime honey in a ratio of 60% trepang to 40% honey.

For production, we select only high-quality honey from reliable producers. At this point, the fermentation process takes place. As a rule, it lasts 8-10 days. It is very important during this period to thoroughly mix the trepang with honey every hour.

After 10 days, trepang and honey are twisted in a ceramic meat grinder. Ceramics does not destroy vitamins and minerals, unlike a metal grinder. We take this fact into account in order to produce high quality raw materials.

Trepang mixed with honey is poured into polypropylene food containers with a volume of 50-100 liters. Six times a day, for 7-8 days, trepang on honey is thoroughly mixed. Then it is infused for 30-40 days, during which time the useful extract of trepang is enhanced by the medicinal properties of honey.

A mandatory production standard is compliance with a temperature regime of + 2- + 4 C. In compliance with the same temperature, the finished trepang on honey goes from Vladivostok to Moscow. On the basis of the trading platform, products are packaged in containers from 0.210 l to 2 l. and sent to buyers.

*Keep refrigerated

Production of Trepang tincture on alcohol

To prepare the tincture, after catching, cleansing and twisting, trepangs are poured no longer with honey, but with 40 degree purified ethyl alcohol, luxury class. In the proportion of 60% -65% alcohol solution and 40% -35% trepang.

Then the resulting mixture is poured into containers and mixed once a day for 7-8 days. It is infused for 60 days at a temperature of +2, +4 degrees. It is also shipped from Vladivostok to Moscow, where it is packed in 0.5 liters, 1.0 liters.

How is Trepang Extraction made in Vladivostok

We want to note right away that Extraction of trepang - a very valuable product, since its production technology allows you to activate all the medicinal properties of sea cucumber even more! Therefore, it is not taken with tablespoons, but only 1 tsp. 2 times a day, and this is enough to improve the health of an adult with a course admission!

The caught trepang is washed, cleaned and rolled through a ceramic meat grinder. The resulting mixture is poured with 70-degree alcohol and infused for 3 months, strictly in a dark place, at a temperature of +2 +4 degrees.

After 3 months, everything is wrung out. Far Eastern lime honey is added to the squeezed trepang, and the resulting mixture is infused for another 3 months with regular stirring. The hood is being prepared in a dark ventilated room at a temperature of +2 +4 degrees.

After another 3 months, the trepang is squeezed out again and the resulting concentrate on honey is thoroughly mixed with the concentrate on alcohol, which was obtained earlier. The resulting extract is infused for another 3 weeks and only after that is it ready for sale and use!

You need to store Trepang extractor in a dark, cool place (refrigerator). Do not leave the hood in direct sunlight!

The shelf life of the hood is 24 months.

The trepang extract is unique in that it uses a 2-stage concentrate, alcohol and honey. The fact is that some vitamins interact better with honey, and some with alcohol, so you get the most valuable trepang from Vladivostok of the highest quality !!!

We wish you health, youth and longevity. You can order from us right now Trepang extractor to appreciate its healing effects and many other beneficial properties!

One of the first residents of the Skolkovo Far East Fund, the Marine Biotechnopark company, begins to introduce its laboratory developments into real innovative production. Genomic selection of sea cucumbers, which the Marine Biotechnopark team has been engaged in for more than one year, turned out to be applicable not only for writing scientific dissertations, but also for a promising, profitable business. RIA PrimaMedia publishes (with minor abbreviations) sk.ru material on genomic technologies in trepang breeding, Far Eastern innovations and the prospects for Russian mariculture.

"Sergei Maslennikov, Director of the Ostrovnoy Marine Biotechnopark Research and Education Center, Far Eastern Federal University, Senior Researcher at the Institute of Marine Biology. A.V. Zhirmunsky FEB RAS, calls holothurians, invertebrates such as echinoderms (trepangs are called their species used for food), a gift of fate for Russia and an ideal food for people of all ages.

It is an essential component of a healthy diet, a natural stimulant, low in calories, high in collagen and amino acids. To preserve youth and health longer, it is enough to eat one sea cucumber once a week or two, - lists the advantages of the delicacy, Candidate of Biological Sciences Maslennikov.

The first to draw attention to the beneficial properties of sea cucumber in ancient China, in the kitchen of which it has been used for a couple of millennia.

Trepanga is easy to store. The easiest recipe is to boil it in sea water and dry it. Once in China, trepang replaced money, they were paid taxes, '' says Sergei Maslennikov. Now he is writing a popular science book about sea cucumber to stimulate the demand for a tasty and healthy product in Russia.

Nowadays, almost all sea cucumbers caught in the world are eaten in three Asian countries: China, Japan and South Korea. The Far Eastern sea cucumber (Apostichopus japonicus) harvested in the Primorsky Territory, and other gifts of our seas, as the interlocutor of Sk.ru assures, are the best in the world: the most delicious, clean and healthy. Gourmets, who compared the taste of Russian and Korean trepangs, state that ours are of a better quality. Far Eastern solid, Korean has a much more liquid consistency (it is believed that the harder the trepang, the better it is).

Trepang has useful properties that "rejuvenate" the body. Photo: Photo archive of RIA PrimaMedia

Conditions for growing aquatic organisms [organisms living in the aquatic environment - approx. Sk.ru] we have perfect. In the same Yellow Sea, the water is dirty, there are practically no free waters. In addition, this is not the "native" water for most aquatic organisms, they prefer a lower temperature. Seaside scallop, sea cucumber, mussels, seaweed are readily bought in Asian markets (however, they pay at a minimum, since our products are not certified). By the way, the healing qualities of our seafood are immeasurably higher, - says Sergey Maslennikov. He was once invited as an expert to the detained poaching ships, and the scientist could see there cardboard boxes for the caught products with a typographic inscription in English "Crab. Caught and boiled in Russian waters." This is a brand that is well known and appreciated all over the world.

Trepang is expensive - in Vladivostok a kilogram of boiled-ice cream delicacy costs 16 thousand rubles - and it is delicious. In restaurants in the capital of Primorye, you can try "skhlyanka", that is. trepang stew. Another popular recipe is trepang in honey. In Asian countries, this marine life competes for price with bluefin tuna, one of the most expensive fish in the world. In China, the cost of a kilogram of dried sea cucumber, according to Sk.ru's interlocutor, reaches 6 thousand dollars.

The project implemented by Sergei Maslennikov within the framework of the Skolkovo Foundation (the Marine Biotechnopark company is a resident of the biomedical cluster in the field of Biotechnology in Agriculture and Industry) is aimed at developing a technology for obtaining highly productive trepang lines based on modern genetic breeding methods. In particular, it is planned to identify genetic markers for the separation of individuals and, as a result of crossing and selection, to bring out lines with positive qualities (survival, growth rate, productivity).

Holothuria, also known as sea cucumber, or trepang, does not differ in appearance from its congeners. Photo: Photo archive of RIA PrimaMedia

As the researcher explains, trepangs have no external differences: visually, the male is indistinguishable from the female, the adults from the juveniles. Trepangs even have such a phenomenon as negative growth: the invertebrate can lose weight and shrink in size regardless of age.

Only genomic technologies allow to select high-quality individuals. Our Skolkovo project is dedicated to their application for finding good manufacturers. Crossbreeding of elite breeders will allow obtaining trepang fry with good survival rates, - says Sergey. - Both in nature and with artificial breeding of trepang, there is a massive death of fry. If more viable individuals are selected, the severity of the problem can be significantly reduced. Obviously, the more the sea cucumber survives, the more profitable the breeding business will become.

The project should go into the practical stage closer to autumn, when Maslennikov's partners will complete the construction of a trepang breeding plant on the coast of the Sea of Japan in the Khabarovsk Territory. In total, in Primorye, which is considered the birthplace of domestic mariculture (the country's first mariculture farm was created in 1972 in the Khasansky District of the Primorsky Territory), according to the head of the Marine Biotechnopark, there are now several dozen companies operating with varying degrees of success in breeding trepang and other seafood delicacies. But, firstly, large companies among these enterprises are an absolute minority, and, secondly, the scientific approach and extensive experience in the field of mariculture are on the side of Maslennikov and his partners. Sergey Maslennikov has been engaged in breeding aquatic organisms both theoretically and practically for many years.

If our partners have several times higher survival rate for fry, they will quickly outperform competitors. Other manufacturers work for luck, according to the principle "it worked out - well, it didn't work out - God bless him." We base our business on a calculated risk, says Maslennikov.

The Marine Biotechnopark company became a resident of Skolkovo at the very end of December 2015. Sergei has not yet had time to use all the services provided by the Far Eastern office of the Fund. But he appreciates the ones he has seen: "I really liked the programs for the protection of intellectual property organized by the Skolkovo Intellectual Property Center and the Foundation's representative office in the Far East on the basis of FEFU. It was a very useful and necessary experience." The interlocutor of Sk.ru connects high expectations with the opportunity to use the Skolkovo research infrastructure: laboratories, equipment, etc.

The project related to the genetics of the sea cucumber will be followed by work with other marine organisms, Sergei Maslennikov hopes. "We regard the Skolkovo project as an attempt to prove the effectiveness of the use of genomic technologies in mariculture. There are many examples of the successful use of this approach in agriculture, but in mariculture there are practically no examples yet." Research in this direction is going on in several countries, in particular, in Norway and the USA. Moreover, it is noteworthy that they are attended by Russian biologists working abroad.

Taking into account the fact that both technologies and specialists are Russian, and close by is the world's largest seafood market, Asian, we should start working in this direction as soon as possible, ”Maslennikov urges.

The Chinese, with whom he conducted preliminary negotiations on this topic, are ready to cooperate, and they have strengthened their plans after the news that the Skolkovo Foundation is opening a representative office in the PRC.

Relying on its scientific potential and favorable geographical position, Primorsky Krai can, using the renewable resources of the sea, create a unique basis for the sustainable development of the region. Confidence in this is the starting point of the project to create a network of marine biotechnology clusters, biotechnoparks. Sergey Maslennikov and his colleagues have been working on the implementation of this undertaking for about a decade and a half. The project involves the Institute of Marine Biology and the Far Eastern Federal University.

The main obstacle to the development of the coastal zone is unjustified centralization and monopoly in regulating access to resources, primarily to the coastal sea area. We have been observing the pernicious nature of this policy for 25 years. The essentially agricultural coastal mariculture is managed by a federal agency, the Federal Agency for Fishery. It is necessary to transfer all management of both marine and freshwater aquaculture to the local level and to demonopolize research in this area, Mr. Maslennikov is convinced.

According to him, potential "investors [in the marine biotechnopark - Sk.ru note] stand in line and wait for everything to be ready." At the moment, a feasibility study has been prepared for the creation of large projects for marine aquaculture in the coastal waters of the Russian Far East. The results are presented at many venues, including the Eastern Economic Forum.

The marine biotechnopark is aimed at obtaining high-value biological raw materials, its integrated processing and integrated water area management, the scientist explains. The network of biotechnoparks will be able to provide new growth points for the development of the coastal economy and the consolidation of the population in the territories of the Far East. The production potential of the territories and water areas allows reaching the volume of about 3 million tons of products per year (marine biological raw materials, invertebrates and algae) and the creation of about 1 million jobs, the ideologists of the project calculated.

Of all aquaculture activities, marine production is the most profitable business; in terms of the generated profit, mariculture may well compete with microelectronics.

Mariculture is one of the fastest growing sectors of the world economy. In addition to the growing population and the stabilization of world fish production, this is facilitated by the high quality of marine organisms as food. Unlike land-based foods, most seafood has no so-called consumer risks (mad cow disease, foot and mouth disease, avian flu, etc.). Marine products contain complete yet easily digestible proteins, rich in trace elements and essential fatty acids, while being free of cholesterol. All this contributes to the increased demand for seafood from consumers and, as a result, the development of production. So, after the salmon boom in developed countries, there was a surge of interest in mussels, when over several years the consumption of cultivated organisms increased significantly.

Sergey Maslennikov estimates the world seafood market at $ 170 billion a year; Russia is far on the outskirts of this market. “We say that the Russian Federation is a great maritime power. This is not entirely true. In fact, we have been giving added value to anyone for many years instead of producing, processing and earning ourselves.A great maritime power is our neighbor China, which annually receives up to 50 million tons of aquaculture through aquaculture and coastal fishing. This is more than ten times higher than all fishing and aquaculture in Russia combined. The scale of mariculture and freshwater aquaculture in China is so significant that it is easily distinguishable on satellite images of the territory and coastal waters of the PRC. The latter thesis can be easily verified using Google Earth. " This is partly due to history: the development of aquaculture in ancient China was inextricably linked with rice farming. In addition to the PRC, mariculture is actively developed to one degree or another by all countries of East Asia (Vietnam, Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, etc.). East Asia accounts for over 90% of the world's aquaculture. Russia has all the prerequisites to take a worthy place on this list, Sergei Maslennikov is convinced.

All sea areas off the Russian coast of the Sea of Japan and the south of the Sea of Okhotsk are in favorable climatic conditions for the cultivation and reproduction of the most expensive commercial aquatic organisms in the domestic and foreign markets, says the biologist. - The list of objects for breeding and reproduction can be presented as follows: bivalve molluscs (scallops, mussels, oysters, anadara, spisula), echinoderms (sea urchins and holothurians), crustaceans (commercial crabs, craboids, shrimps, chilims, mantis shrimp) and macrophytes ... The most popular species, for which breeding and reproduction technologies have been developed, are the seaside scallop, Pacific mussel, giant oyster, and seaweed.

Two species, the seaside scallop and the giant oyster, are among the top ten world leaders in shellfish cultivation. The Far Eastern sea cucumber and king crab are among the most expensive commercial invertebrate species. Japanese kelp is the most highly productive species of plants cultivated on Earth. The yield of Japanese kelp reaches 200-300 tons of wet weight per hectare, which corresponds to 50-65 tons of dry weight. According to FAO, the volume of industrial cultivation of Japanese kelp in the world exceeds 4.5 million tons per year. Thus, we can say that the coastal waters of the Russian Far Eastern seas have an extremely beneficial set of species for cultivation and reproduction. "
