Such a connection does not take much effort, and office glue, entering into a thermal reaction, does not emit harmful fumes. Therefore, it is well suited for processing industrial and other products.

Table vinegar

This is a "grandfather" technology that has stood the test of time. All you need to prepare is a certain amount of wine vinegar or citric acid. In some moments, you can prepare a gentle preparation, and dilute in a ratio of 1 to 10. If the object is covered with smoke on the inside, then the mixture is poured inside and put, high heat and brought to a boil. The metal is very soft, and under the influence of a harsh abrasive, its surface is severely damaged... A rough, scratched surface, in turn, will become more dirty.

There are many ways to combat dirt and discoloration of aluminum pans without using harsh abrasives, even when it comes to carbon deposits that have accumulated over several years. The most popular and effective solutions and methods of working with them are described below.

Removal of darkening with acids

Simple browning on the surface of an aluminum pan can be removed well with acids. Here are some simple options:

  • Acetic acid (better than 6%). The stains on the metal are wiped with a sponge dipped in vinegar, after which the dishes are well rinsed with water.
  • Apple. The fruit is cut in half and problem areas on the pan are wiped with a cut.
  • Lemon acid. Citric acid powder is poured into a saucepan, water is poured into the same (1 cm above all darkening). The solution is boiled for 15–20 minutes, after which it is drained, and the pan is wiped with a regular sponge. On average, 1 sachet (10 grams) is used per liter of water.
  • Also, kefir, whey or pickle from canned cucumbers / tomatoes can act as an acid. These liquids are poured into a saucepan for about 1 hour, then drained. Next, you should walk over the metal with a soft sponge with an ordinary dish detergent.

Of the methods given in this section, the simplest and most effective method of cleaning with vinegar can be considered. The concentration of acid in vinegar is higher than in other foods and is constant. Consequently, the process will take less time, and the quality of cleaning will be higher.

Important! For cleaning aluminum pots, do not use concentrated acids, in particular vinegar essence. This can severely damage the cookware. Also, you cannot leave any acids on the surface of aluminum for a long time, as there is a risk of getting the opposite effect: the dishes will darken.

Soda, salt and ammonia

A mixture of baking soda, salt and citric acid (1/1/1) can be used to remove burnt food from the bottom of the dishes. The indicated ingredients are poured into the pan and filled with water so that the carbon level is blocked. Boil for 20 minutes, then drain and finish cleaning with a plastic sponge. This method is suitable for fresh, uncomplicated dirt.

Another tool for removing carbon deposits from aluminum is a water solution of grated laundry soap and ammonia. The level of effectiveness is about the same as that of a mixture of baking soda, salt and citric acid.

  • Water - 2 liters.
  • Laundry soap - 1/3 piece.
  • Ammonium - 1 tbsp. spoon.

How to clean with silicate glue

The most effective way to clean aluminum pots is to boil in water with silicate glue, soda ash, and laundry soap. This mixture will cope even with long-term carbon deposits, against which even brushes for metal are powerless. It is very important that the metal surface is not damaged in any way from such cleaning.

Components for 10 liters of water:

  • Silicate glue - 1 bottle.
  • Laundry soap (the simplest, 72%) - 1 bar.
  • Soda ash - 1 glass.

Pour water into any dish of suitable volume, add glue, grated soap and soda there. Put on high heat and stir until the soap shavings dissolve. Dip the pots intended for cleaning into the solution and after boiling, reduce the heat to a minimum. Close the container with a lid. The duration of the boil depends on how heavily soiled the dishes are, but on average - from an hour to two. After the time has elapsed, turn off the stove, remove the pots and finish cleaning mechanically: using a plastic or synthetic sponge.

It is believed that baking soda should not be used to clean aluminum pots. This is only partly true and only applies to cookware with a nickel coating, which is irreversibly destroyed by any abrasives. "

If we are talking about means of industrial production, then choose those whose PH is neutral... Typically, they contain the words "metal cleaning liquid / gel" in their name. They have a complex chemical formula, due to which they cope with severe pollution. Such funds should be washed off very carefully. As for soda products, they should not be used daily.

It should be noted that soda, both plain and soda ash, gradually destroys the protective oxide film on the aluminum surface. This is not critical, provided that cleaning with the use of these substances is not daily, and the procedure for restoring the protective film is carried out at least once. The process is the same as for preparing a new saucepan for use: roasting the dishes with vegetable oil and salt.

Aluminum pans cannot be washed in dishwashers. Inside them, conditions are formed that contribute to the destruction of the oxide film, which is applied to the surface of aluminum to protect it. In the absence of an oxide film, the metal first begins to darken, and in the process of further operation it gradually collapses.   • the container is filled about 1/3 with water, placed on the stove for heating;
  • Laundry soap is cut into small pieces, about half a piece (for 5 liters of water);
  • ½ cup of 9% table vinegar is poured (for 5 liters of water);
  • the composition is heated, mixed thoroughly;
  • a prepared hot solution is poured into a dirty pan in a volume that keeps the pan afloat with its mass, preventing it from turning over when it is placed upside down in this large container (as if pressing it to the bottom);
  • the container, with the pan placed in it, is closed with a lid, heats up to the boiling point;
  • after boiling, the fire is reduced to the minimum mode;
  • in the "steam bath" state, the pan simmer in the solution and its vapor for 30 minutes with a medium degree of contamination, 60 minutes with a strong degree of contamination.

Then the fire turns off, the pan is removed from the container. For final cleaning, you will need an abrasive sponge, salt, any dish detergent and 9% table vinegar. A small amount of dishwashing liquid is dripped to the bottom of the pan, a teaspoon of 9% vinegar and a tablespoon of salt are added. Rubber gloves are put on and all areas are thoroughly cleaned with an abrasive sponge. First, the inside of the pot is cleaned, then the top is cleaned, including the bottom, sides and handles.
