Features of installation of the supply system

The assembly of this type of equipment is not particularly complicated. Most often, in private houses, not even an air supply unit is installed, but simply valves. The latter are pieces of plastic pipes insulated from the inside with mineral wool. To install them, holes are simply made in the walls. Outside, each valve is closed with a mosquito grid.

In a large residential suburban building of 2-3 floors with brick or concrete walls, complex supply and exhaust ventilation should be installed. The air squeezed out of the premises is removed through the ventilation shaft. If necessary, fans can be installed that remove air from some rooms (bathrooms, dressing rooms) forcibly. Check valves with or without electric actuators are installed in the air duct system to ensure the overlap of the channels and prevent reversible air supply.

The use of air handling units with a recuperator is gaining increasing popularity due to its efficiency. The recuperator is a plate heat exchanger that allows you to reduce the cost of heating or cooling: the exhaust air transfers a significant part of its heat (up to 85-90%) to the supplied one.

A recuperator in a supply and exhaust ventilation system is a preservation of up to 80-85% of heat. In other words, a significant reduction in heating and air conditioning costs when the ventilation system itself is operating all year round!

But, as a rule, as part of the system, there is still a heater with temperature sensors and regulation of heating power: it allows you to additionally heat the air and prevent the supply of a low temperature air mixture. By the way, in summer, the picture is different: the already cooled air blown out partially cools the supplied air, which reduces the cost of air conditioning the whole house!
