Water loss test of a fire water supply system

The main purpose of the tests is to determine the operability and technical characteristics of the fire water supply system, which must ensure the required level of fire safety of objects (buildings, settlements ...).

  • Inspection Regulations ( NPPV) installed SP 8.13130.2009"Sources of external fire-fighting water supply." According to it, during the inspection, the required fire water consumption for external fire extinguishing of the facility is determined.
  • In accordance with clause 55 of the Rules of the fire regime in the Russian Federation, approved by the Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 390 dated April 25, 2012, it is recommended to carry out inspections at least 2 times a year (in spring and autumn).
  • A check is carried out during the period of maximum water consumption at the facility, which contributes to a more accurate determination of its consumption.

To check the fire water supply system for water loss:
