How to rewind the fire hose in 3 steps

Why do you need a single roll?

If you have just bought new fire hoses, they are in the single roll when one of the connection heads is hidden inside the roll. This is a transport and storage roll of fire hoses and is completely unsuitable for laying in fire cabinets and connecting to a fire hydrant.
The thing is that when you unwind the fire hose and fill it with water, it will simply get tangled. You will not be able to roll it out properly and most likely the water will not reach the fire barrel. The fire hoses rolled up in this way will greatly arouse the interest of the fire inspector.

We roll up the fire hose into a double roll:

After you have bought a fire hose, you need to rewind it in a double roll.
It is also necessary to roll the fire hose into a double roll after each use, but dry it before these (if water was supplied).
A double roll-up of a fire hose is the most optimal way of laying a fire hose, although there are still ways of laying with vertical and horizontal accordions.

Step 1.

We unwind the fire hose to its full length. We put it on exactly one edge.

Step 2.

We take one end of the fire hose and go to the second (far) end. We pass by the half-nut half a step and put it on top. It turned out that we folded the fire hose in half, only one end is slightly longer than the other.

Step 3.

We return back to the place where the fire hose was folded. It is important that the ends are laid exactly on top of each other on one side. We take the place of the fold in our hands and begin to tightly twist the fire hose. As soon as the roll ceases to fit in our hands, we put it on the ground and begin to roll it along the ground, as if we were rolling a wheel. Roll until you get a picture, as in the photo below.
The connecting heads are located outside the roll, and the sleeve itself is laid in such a way that when it is deployed, the possibility of tangling is excluded.
