As an organizational form it is planned to register an ordinary individual entrepreneurship. OKVED code - 28.52 “Processing of metal products using basic technological processes mechanical engineering". Taxation system - simplified tax system, 15% of the enterprise's profit.

Marketing and business promotion

Even at the business planning stage, we will need to find potential sales channels for our products. Corrugated sheeting is a fairly popular building material. The scope of its application is quite wide: construction of walls and fences, roofing of houses and workshops, construction of hangars, garden and country houses, construction of pavilions. Therefore, despite the presence of competition, we do not see any serious problems with sales. We will advertise our products through the following channels:

  • Internet - creating your own website, with good catalog and selling articles.
  • Outdoor advertising in construction markets and near large private sectors.
  • Advertising in newspapers and specialized magazines.
  • Cooperation with construction hypermarkets in the city and small points selling building materials.

Financial plan

Monthly expenses based on the production of 11,000 m2 of profiled sheets:

  • Rent - 64,000 rub.
  • Salary - 115,000 rubles.
  • Contributions to the Pension Fund and Social Insurance Fund - 34,500 rubles.
  • Electricity - 40,000 rub.
  • *Raw materials - RUB 2,233,000. (1 m2 - 203 rub.)
  • Transport costs - 15,000 rubles.
  • Other expenses - 30,000 rubles.

Total - 2,531,500 rubles.

How much can you earn from the production of corrugated sheets?

* From one ton of sheet steel you can get 270 m2 of profiled sheet of grade C-8. The cost of raw materials is 55,000 rubles/ton. Thus, the cost of material for the manufacture of 1 m2 of corrugated sheeting is: 55,000 / 270 = 203 rubles. Monthly income: Revenue from the sale of 11,000 m2 of finished products at a price of 260 sq/m2 will be 2,860,000 rubles. The enterprise's profit before tax will be: 2,860,000 (revenue) - 2,531,500 (cost) = 328,500 rubles. Net profit minus taxes (USN, 15% of profit) according to the plan will be 279,225 rubles. per month. With such indicators, the project pays for itself within 8 months of the enterprise’s operation.

Corrugated sheeting is a modern building material. High performance properties and low price make it very popular in the construction market. For this reason, the production of corrugated sheets today is one of the most profitable business projects. Both large factories and small factories are engaged in the implementation of this production.

In this article we will look in detail at what stages the production of corrugated sheets consists of, what equipment is needed for this and what sizes of sheets there are.

What is corrugated sheeting?

Corrugated sheeting is a metal profiled sheet that is used as fencing, fencing, roofing, building cladding, and flooring. The steel “filling” makes the coating strong and durable, profiling adds rigidity, and the outer coating adds aesthetic beauty. The production of corrugated sheets is carried out from steel with a thickness of 0.45 to 1.2 mm, by rolling metal.

Metal tiles are a type of corrugated sheeting. A significant difference in the production of the two materials is the arrangement of the shafts on the production machine. It is these differences that give steel the shape of natural tiles.

Important: installation of corrugated sheets and metal tiles, despite almost identical production, is carried out according to various technologies!

Grades of corrugated sheets - sizes of standard sheets

Today, factories for the production of corrugated sheets, responsible for the quality of their products with their reputation, produce raw materials based on the standards of GOST 24045-2010. Profiled sheet different brands standard type differs in corrugation height, shape and size. Let's look at the most popular types of material:

    C8 – decorative wall sheet. Material thickness is from 0.4 to 0.7 mm, useful width – 1150 mm, actual width – 1250 mm. Length to order, maximum length 12 m.

    C21 – wall, used for cladding walls and building fences. The special trapezoidal structure of the sheets ensures higher rigidity of the rolled product and high versatility. Usable width 1000 mm, thickness from 0.4 to 0.9 mm, length - up to 12 m.

    NS-35 - one of the varieties roofing. A special feature of the manufacture of corrugated sheets of this class is the formation of a large number of stiffeners, each 7 mm wide. Production is carried out from high quality galvanized steel, galvanizing density is 250 g/sq.m. The useful width of the sheets is 1000 mm, length up to 14 m, profile height – 35 mm.

    N-100. Load-bearing type of corrugated sheet with a corrugation height of 100 mm. Used for the construction of floors. Due to the significant wave height this type rolled is the toughest, but has less usable area– 845 mm. The distance between the ribs is 60 mm.

Factories for the production of corrugated sheets

World-famous manufacturers include the Finnish brand Ruukki and the Pruszynski corrugated sheet production plant in Poland. Production under the Polish brand is organized throughout the world by subsidiaries - the product quality is the highest.

There are several enterprises in Russia that have proven themselves in this area:

    ProfStalProkat LLC and Stalkomprofil LLC - industrial production in the Moscow region;

    "KSP" - Samara region.

    LLC "Ural Plant of Roofing Materials" - production of corrugated sheets in Yekaterenburg.

Production technology

The technology for manufacturing corrugated sheets is simple. The process is carried out using the method of cold metal rolling. Rolls of thin-sheet galvanized or polymer steel are formed into metal sheets with the desired profile and shape using special equipment.

Plants for the production of corrugated sheets operate according to the following scheme:

    The steel roll is installed on a special unwinder - the equipment will correctly and evenly open and feed the raw material for further processing.

    The automatic system sets the necessary parameters for the sheet: production speed, sheet length and number of sheets.

    Launch of the production line.

To make corrugated sheets, you need the following equipment:

    Hydraulic unwinder. Controlled automated system. In addition, the equipment has its own automation unit, thanks to which you can adjust the feed speed of the steel strip depending on the speed of sheet processing in the rolling machine.

    Cutting device. Installed immediately after the unwinder, it is necessary for cutting the roll if it needs to be replaced. For example, in the production of corrugated sheets it was necessary to replace a galvanized roll with steel with polymer coating.

  • Rolling or forming machine. It is the main element of the production line. The equipment turns an ordinary sheet of steel into a profiled sheet. Forms a profile by rolling metal through rollers of a certain shape (the shape may differ depending on the type of profiled sheet).

Rolling machines can be pneumatic or hydraulic. The first type of equipment can produce profiled sheets up to 2.5 m long and no more than 1.5 mm thick. Hydraulic machines are more powerful, which is why they are installed in large factories for the production of corrugated sheets. The equipment allows you to produce material of any length.

    Hydraulic shears with a blade shape that exactly matches the profile of the sheet. Cut the finished sheet according to size.

Important: cutting with flat scissors is strictly prohibited - this is a serious violation of GOST standards for the production of corrugated sheets.

    Automatic control system. Minimizes manual labor. Human participation is limited to monitoring the rolling of raw materials.

Without exaggeration, sheet steel can be called the most widely used building material. In addition to direct use for the manufacture of various building structures, such steel is also used for the production of corrugated sheets.

Raw materials for the production of corrugated sheets

To maximize service life, profiled sheets are made from sheet steel with a protective anti-corrosion coating.

It could be:

  1. Zinc protective coating. In accordance with the requirements of GOST 3640-79, zinc grades DO or Ts1 are used for galvanizing sheet metal. At the same time, aluminum, lead and some other metals are added to the coating composition in small quantities. The quality of galvanized steel is regulated by the requirements of GOST 14918-80.
  2. Aluminum-zinc protective coating, also called aluzinc. The coating must comply with the requirements of TU 14-11-247-88. It is obtained by applying a composition of 43% zinc, 55% aluminum and 1.6% silicon to the metal surface.
  3. Colored polymer protective and decorative coating according to GOST 30246-94).

Steel for the production of corrugated sheets must have certain technical characteristics. This is due both to the requirements for the finished product - corrugated sheets, and technical characteristics equipment used for the production of profiled sheets. Raw materials for corrugated sheets must meet the following requirements:

  1. The thickness of the steel sheet is 0.4–1.2 mm.
  2. The total width of sheet or coil steel is 1000–1250 mm.
  3. The steel grade must comply with GOST R 52246-2004.
  4. Consumption of zinc to create anti-corrosion protective coating- 220-295 g/m².
  5. The polymer protective and decorative coating must comply with GOST R 52146-2003.
  6. A roll of metal for corrugated sheeting (when using production lines with a special unwinder) should weigh from 5 to 8 tons.

For the production of galvanized steel sheets, cold-rolled low-carbon steel coils are used, and the surface quality of the galvanized sheet must comply with GOST 16523-89. Depending on the production method, galvanized sheet steel can be of several categories:

  • galvanized sheet steel with index ХШ is intended for cold stamping;
  • sheet steel intended for cold profiling has the HP index;
  • galvanized sheet for application paint coating has a PC index;
  • galvanized sheet steel general purpose marked with the index OH.

Cink Steel various brands may differ in the thickness of the anti-corrosion zinc coating, and this thickness may not be uniform over the surface of the sheet, which is called “variation of thickness” of the coating. Galvanized sheets with normal thickness variations are marked HP, and those with reduced thicknesses are marked with the UR index.

The thickness of the zinc coating can be of 3 categories:

  • category 2 - zinc layer thickness 10-18 microns
  • category 1 - zinc coating thickness 18-40 microns
  • category P - zinc layer thickness 40-60 microns

Galvanized sheets are also distinguished by drawing depth: VG - very deep, G - deep and N - normal. It is this indicator that determines the mechanical characteristics of the metal sheet.

Galvanized metal for the production of corrugated sheets must be of normal thickness, have the first category of protective zinc coating and correspond to the HP or PC groups. The service life of a profiled sheet made from such galvanized steel can reach 40 years or more. It is this service life that guarantees high-quality raw materials for the production of corrugated sheets, the price of which is approximately 50 thousand rubles. for 1 ton.

If the price of metal for corrugated sheeting is significantly lower, then most likely we are talking about sheet steel with a smaller thickness of zinc coating, which significantly reduces the service life of corrugated sheeting. Some manufacturers, instead of 280 g/m² required for the first category of coating thickness, reduce its consumption to 150 or even 100 g/m², which is more than 2 times less than the norm.

Therefore, if you are interested in the quality of your products, it is better to buy metal for the production of corrugated sheets produced by one of the large metallurgical companies, whose products have long been known in the market for their quality and are in deserved demand. Metal for the manufacture of corrugated sheets is produced by such large enterprises as MMK (Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works), NLMK (Novoliptsk Iron and Steel Works) and Severstal.

Large enterprises have established strict quality control of finished products, so each roll of sheet steel they produce has a certificate and its own “individual” passport.

Thin-sheet steel from European manufacturers, for example, metallurgical enterprises in Slovakia, is also in fairly high demand on the market. The raw materials for corrugated sheets produced by these companies, the price of which allows them to successfully compete with the products of Russian manufacturers, are of high quality. The European standard for applying a layer of zinc to metal is 275 g/m², which corresponds to a layer thickness of approximately 25 microns and corresponds to the 1st category of protective coating.

In addition to metal produced in Slovakia, on the market you can buy metal for corrugated sheets made in Germany, England, as well as at enterprises in Ukraine and South Korea.

Galvanized steel with polymer coating

The growth in popularity of corrugated sheets has been significantly facilitated by the appearance in the building materials market of profiled sheets with a colored polymer protective and decorative coating in the last 10-15 years.

It is made from the same galvanized steel, onto which a colored polymer film made of synthetic resins or plastics is applied over the zinc coating. Such protective and decorative coatings vary in thickness and resistance to external influences. In addition to increased resistance to corrosion, profiled steel sheets with colored polymer coating have high decorative qualities.

The higher the resistance of the polymer coating to aggressive environments, high temperature and solar radiation, the more expensive it is. Therefore, you need to choose a painted profiled sheet taking into account the conditions of its future operation.

The table shows prices for 1 ton of thin sheet steel. Since you are purchasing a roll of metal for corrugated sheeting, its price will be higher, since the weight of the roll is much greater. Typically, production lines for the production of corrugated sheets are equipped with unwinders designed for a weight of 5 to 8 tons.

Corrugated sheeting is cost-effective, easy to use and reliable material, in demand in many construction fields. It is used for external and interior decoration, arrangement of barriers, hangars, workshops, internal roofing. Light weight good performance rigidity, long service life, low installation and maintenance costs have determined the popularity of this roofing material in mass and private construction.

Below is information about the production of corrugated sheets, equipment for production with a video of how they are made, as well as additional helpful information to organize your business.

The situation on the domestic corrugated sheet market

Considering the large volumes of consumption, the production of corrugated sheets is a promising and highly profitable activity. However, a newcomer to the market will have to face serious competition.

This material produces a whole series of large factories specializing in rolled metal, as well as a large number of individual entrepreneurs. Accordingly, before deciding to open production, it is necessary to carefully analyze the prospects for work in a particular region. The following parameters will help you decide:

  • Presence in the immediate vicinity of another large plant for the production of corrugated sheets. Not having significant amount funds to start, it is quite difficult to compete with such a competitor. On the contrary, if there are no similar enterprises within a radius of 200 km, and the consumer is forced to purchase corrugated sheets in remote regions, it becomes possible to attract the client by reducing the price, primarily due to minimal transportation costs.
  • Presence of rolled metal manufacturers in the region. Obviously, purchasing raw materials directly from a manufacturer whose facilities are located nearby is more cost-effective than executing a supply agreement through an intermediary.
  • Cost, list of items, sales volume, competitive advantages of “neighboring” corrugated sheeting manufacturers.
  • Features specific to a particular region. Here we are talking about construction volumes, seasonal fluctuations in demand, the most popular types of products and other factors.

When developing a development strategy, it would be useful to think about the vector of work of the future enterprise for the production of corrugated sheets. So, in accordance with the nature of demand, you can focus on construction companies or private customers. Clients of the first group need profiled sheets of various profiles (8-114 mm) and consume about 60% of the total production volume. In individual construction, “low” profile sheets (8-21 mm) are more often used, and the main selection criteria are not high price and acceptable quality of products.

Registration moments

For this business, it is better to choose first, because An individual entrepreneur is liable for the company’s obligations with his property.

When registering a company, you can indicate the following OKVED :

  • 27.33 “Production of bent steel profiles”,
  • 51.53.24 “Wholesale trade of other building materials»,
  • 52.46.73 " Retail metal and non-metallic structures, etc.”

Corrugated sheeting is not subject to mandatory certification, but it is recommended to adhere to the standards of GOST 24045-2016.

Raw materials for making corrugated sheets

For the production of corrugated sheets, rolled metal of the first or highest categories is used. It can be either ordinary galvanized steel (GOST 14918-80) or metal with a polymer coating different colors(GOST 30246-2016). In some cases, corrugated sheets are made from coated aluminum-zinc steel.

To enterprises equipped with automated lines, raw materials are supplied in rolls. Manual profiling is performed using ready-made rolled sheets. A large share of the market for the supply of metal raw materials falls on domestic producers. Also in demand are rolled metal products from China, South Korea, England, Germany, and Slovakia.

Equipment for the production of corrugated sheets + Video on how to make them

On the territory of the Russian Federation, corrugated sheets are not subject to mandatory certification. However, many customers prefer to deal with a product manufactured in accordance with GOST 24045-94.

Depending on the level of mechanization of the equipment, the production of corrugated sheets can be carried out automated, semi-automatic and manually. Technologies differ in line performance and cost.

Production on automated lines

The basic advantages of automated production of corrugated sheets are high productivity (about 1000 m² per shift), a wide range of products and ideal geometry of products. The equipment can be easily adjusted to any parameters and requires virtually no minimal intervention human factor One employee is enough to control the process.

Among the disadvantages of the lines is the high cost of the units themselves and their maintenance.

Stages of the production process

Raw materials for corrugated sheeting are supplied to the enterprise in the form of rolled steel. Next, the workpiece goes through several processing stages.

  1. The roll is placed on the unwinding device. The free edge of the metal is fixed on the filling stand of the rolling mill, and then fed at a set speed for processing.
  2. The profile height and width parameters are set depending on the requirements for the final product. The width of the profiled sheet is limited by the size of the roll. The length of the corrugated sheet can be any, however, as a rule, no more than 12-13 meters, which is due to the dimensions of the freight transport.
  3. Sheet metal under the influence of rolling rollers of the working shafts during the production process it acquires the necessary geometry. Moreover, rolling of all corrugations is carried out simultaneously, which allows us to obtain products of the highest possible quality and level of accuracy.
  4. After forming is completed, the rolled sheet is cut using guillotine shears.
  5. The finished corrugated sheet arrives at the work table, where it is formed into bundles and sent to the finished product warehouse.

Video how to do it:

Composition of automated lines

The main manufacturers of units are the Russian Federation, China and Germany. A typical set of equipment for the production of corrugated sheets includes five basic machines:

  • software control unit, through which product parameters are set and units are controlled;
  • unwinder in the form of a shaft on which rolls are placed, with a lock;
  • a forming machine, where the corrugated sheet is directly formed;
  • guillotine scissors for cutting finished profiles into sheets given size;
  • receiving table for stacking and packaging products.

To purchase such a line you will need from 1,000,000 rubles. Over time, the production can be retrofitted, for example, with a heeling table or a unit for removing scraps. This will make it possible to speed up the production process and thus increase the productivity of the organization.

Production of corrugated sheets using manual equipment

Machines of this type can be found in small enterprises with a productivity of up to 400 corrugated sheets per shift. In this case, all operations are performed manually, which requires serious physical effort on the part of the staff.

The production line is a single unit in the form of a frame with symmetrical pairs of shafts, which form the corrugation by mechanical pressure. Only galvanized sheets can be used here as raw materials for the production of corrugated sheets. The equipment also allows you to produce roofing elements.

Among the advantages of the solution are low cost, low maintenance, quick payback, the ability to corrugate corrugated sheets different shapes at a constant height.

Disadvantages include low productivity, high percent defects and high labor costs - at least two operators will be required to service one mill. It is also not recommended to work with painted metal. In addition, there are strict restrictions on the types of products produced. Thus, the length of the sheet cannot exceed 2 m, the thickness of the metal is 1 m, and the height of the corrugation is 15 mm.

Most of the manual equipment for the production of corrugated sheets on the market is of Russian origin, and its cost starts from 70,000 rubles. In most cases, construction companies purchase such machines to cover their own needs.

Production of corrugated sheets using semi-automatic equipment

In many situations, this option turns out to be the most cost-effective for a beginning manufacturer of corrugated sheets, since with relatively low initial costs and high quality products (compared to the manual method), it allows you to significantly increase the volume of the product produced.

To ensure the operation of the workshop, 2-3 qualified operators will be required per mill. Also, the production owner needs to take into account the presence of a moderate amount of defects due to the influence of the human factor at the stage of cutting products.

Semi-automatic line includes:

  • unwinding machine;
  • guillotine shears;
  • rolling machine;
  • table for cutting sheets.

The operating principle of a line for the production of corrugated sheets is similar to an automated one, with the difference that metal cutting is done manually. The dimensions of the equipment make it possible to produce corrugated sheets up to 10 m long. The maximum productivity of the equipment is about 700 m² of metal products per shift. The cost of units starts from 700,000 rubles.

Workshop equipment

For the production of corrugated sheets, it makes sense to rent a premises with an area of at least 300 m². Here it is necessary to provide a production area (150 m²), storage space for raw materials (50 m²) and storage of the finished product (100 m²). It is optimal to have a flat floor and at least two gates: for receiving rolled metal and shipping profiled sheets. In addition, you will need to connect communications, including heating and 380 V power supply. For maintenance production processes You will need specialized equipment with a lifting capacity of 5 tons or more - a beam crane or a monorail.

Packs are formed from ready-made corrugated sheets and laid on wooden pallets and secured with foam or metal straps. Wooden spacers are placed in the places where the sheets come into contact with the constriction and in the corners to prevent deformation during transportation.

Storage and transportation of corrugated sheets

Requirements for storage and transportation of profiled sheets are regulated by GOST 15150.

Packs are formed from ready-made corrugated sheets, placed on wooden pallets and secured with polypropylene or metal belts. Wooden gaskets are placed at the points of contact of the sheets with the constriction and in the corners to prevent deformation and mechanical damage to the coating during transportation. Loading and unloading operations are performed using soft slings.

In warehouse and in the back vehicle packs are placed in one tier, except for cases where 1 m² of products weighs less than 3,000 kg/m². Products can be stored in open areas.

Staff

To ensure the operation of a small line for the production of corrugated sheets, a minimum of four employees will be required: a master equipment operator, two auxiliary workers, as well as a director, who at this stage assumes responsibilities for ensuring the supply of raw materials, searching for customers and other aspects of the enterprise’s activities.

Sales market

Sales of corrugated sheets can be carried out in three directions. Wholesale and retail sales involve cooperation with warehouses, supermarkets, as well as the involvement of dealers. You can arrange wholesale supplies to large enterprises through participation in tender procedures and auctions. In some cases, production/work “to order” with clients who require profiled sheets of non-standard sizes turns out to be profitable.

The specialized PKF "Metinvest-Service" sells rolled metal products in an assortment. The company organizes the production of corrugated sheets to order. We organize the production of corrugated sheets in the Moscow region on an automated line (CNC), with control at each stage of the production process, in particular, rolling speed. This allows for optimization of all process parameters.
