Prayer to our Lord
“To the Heavenly King, Comforter, Soul of truth, Who is everywhere and fulfill everything, Treasure of the good and life to the Giver, come and dwell in us, and cleanse us from all filth, and save our souls, Beloved. Bless, Lord, and help me, a sinner, to complete the work I have begun, for Thy glory. Lord, Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of Thy Beginning Father, Thou art Thou most purely Thy lips, as without Me you cannot do anything. My Lord, Lord, by faith the volume in my soul and heart spoken by You, I fall to Your goodness: help me, a sinner, this work that I have begun, do it about You, in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, through the prayers of the Mother of God and all Your saints ... Amen."
A Christian should always remember that his life does not belong to him, but only God is the King of everything and his life as well. A person cannot control all events, but he can trust and ask Him to control his life. After all, God's control means a long and blessed life, and a life that is completely controlled by the person himself is usually filled with grief and disappointment.
Therefore, you should take a couple of minutes and think about the upcoming accomplishments, and if they do not contradict the Scriptures and God's Will, then ask the Creator for help.

The host of Orthodox saints includes many people who suffered for Christ and are martyrs who, after death, intercede for people who still live on a sinful earth. Therefore, it is quite possible to ask them for help in some matter, so that they intercede with the Heavenly Father.

Saint Matrona of Moscow is also known to all Orthodox Christians as an assistant to every suffering person and an advisor to the seeker. They turn to her for help when there is a case that in any way affects health or life: a long journey, an operation, treatment, flight, and so on.
