During the briefing, the employees are informed about doing the right thing in the event of fires, the operation of protective equipment, and also explains the fire safety requirements. Briefing may be needed in different situations, therefore, the corresponding norms indicate the distribution by species.

Induction training

Introductory briefing is a type of briefing that is conducted for all categories of workers. Staff members, travelers, students and trainees are required to listen to its content. Since ensuring fire safety is the responsibility of management, the director may approve additional conditions for instructing.

The manager appoints a person responsible for fire safety, securing his functions by an official order for the enterprise.

The responsible person must go through a special in an authorized organization and have a valid certificate. If the volume of briefing increases due to specific topics, then it is allowed to involve other employees as instructors.

Employees are told about fire safety laws, regulations and regulations. The briefing also includes information about the fire safety system and familiarization with job responsibilities affecting this area... The briefing program is approved by the head or responsible for fire safety. When compiling it, refer to the regulatory and technical literature. In case of educational institutions the program is additionally coordinated with the State Fire Service.

A class is equipped for instruction. Literature should be available, guidelines, information and training stands. The theoretical part is followed by practical lessons... Their goal is to visually demonstrate the basic principles of fire safety and test the knowledge gained.

Initial briefing

Like introductory, initial briefing can only be carried out responsible person... Its purpose is to explain the methods of compliance with fire safety at a specific workplace. It is conducted with new, temporary and seconded employees, those who change workplace or is undergoing training (practice). Temporary employees are considered seasonal and hired workers.

The procedure for approving and developing an initial firefighting briefing program is similar to the actions described in the induction version. The difference is observed only in the individual approach, that is, each employee is instructed separately. It is allowed to conduct briefing with several people if they are employed at work with the same equipment.

There are repetitive and targeted briefings. The focus of the latter is narrower, and re-training of fire safety is carried out after a certain period of time. It is necessary to consolidate knowledge and skills and reporting to the supervisory authorities.

Accounting logs

The briefing is proof of compliance with one of the basic requirements of the fire safety regulatory document. Therefore, it is necessary to obtain official confirmation of the instructed person. The instructing officer also signs a certain form on the log book.

Enterprises often keep different magazines for each type of instruction. However, for the primary and introductory, one log book is sufficient, if staffing the staff is small. It contains information about the date of the training, the surname, initials and position of the employee. Indicate the structural department in which the instructed will work.
