  • We install formwork around the perimeter from wood panels so that the upper edge of the formwork is 15-20 cm above the ground level along the perimeter.
  • Next, a reinforcing mesh with a cell width of 15-20 cm is created from metal rods and laid at a distance of 6-8 cm above the level of crushed stone. Bricks can be used to raise the reinforcement. The reinforcing mesh should be approximately in the center of the concrete slab after pouring the concrete.

Construction of frame and walls

The roof of the “motorhome” is made of boards 10x2.5 (10x4) cm. They can then be sheathed bitumen sheets, which can be laid directly on the sheathing of the building. It’s even easier to finish the roof with metal tiles or corrugated sheets. But in this case, you will have to spend money on purchasing these rather expensive materials. Fastening of corrugated sheets or other roofing products is carried out according to suitable technology, which involves the use of appropriate hardware and electric tools.

Sheathing the garage roof with bitumen sheets

A mandatory element of a garage roof is a drainage structure. You can make the simplest spillway from sewer pipe(plastic) by cutting it in half.   • From a 4x2.5 cm profile, you make a frame for the doors, which then needs to be sheathed with two-millimeter sheet steel.

And the function of reliable bolts in the gates will be performed by metal pins that need to be inserted into tubes of suitable diameter. It won't be difficult for you to make them. Be sure to process all elements of the metal gate with a file and sandpaper, and then cover them with drying oil to increase the protection of the structure from rust and paint.
