Design of private houses and. Design of a country house or cottage from a designmaster. The interior of wooden houses: how not to miscalculate with the choice

Almost the second story of creating a modern interior begins in a standard way. Married couple acquires an apartment in a new building or in the secondary market, where he intends to create a comfortable layout: a living room with a kitchen, a bedroom, a nursery, a dressing room and a small bathroom.

The owners do not like pretentiousness and overly old-fashioned details, they appreciate minimalism and light shades. The ideal interior in a modern style appears to them to be functional, with fashionable pieces of furniture, lighting and decor.

When construction experience is limited only to cosmetic repairs of the apartment, then the confusion that arises at the stage of interior planning in a modern style is quite understandable. Decisions on the choice of finishing materials and furniture placement will have to be taken independently. Purchase materials ourselves, control the work construction crew, spend a lot of money, time, and sometimes nerves.

In the case of a modern style, its creation will cost "little blood" if you build a design without strict adherence to boundaries. That is, do not blindly follow each of its stylizing characteristics, but adjust the interior for yourself.

For example, the modern interior of an apartment, decorated in a minimalist style, implies a complete lack of decor. Frightened by the thought of living in an almost vacuum space? Bright, active pillows in the living room and an eclectic chandelier in the kitchen add that very emotional mood to the space. A fireplace (or false fireplace) will become a strong visual center in an extremely laconic interior. A cozy sofa area can be organized around it.

What is modern interior design?

Like any other art, modern interior has its own trends. Yes, modern design is a style that easily subjugates any innovations, is loyal to mixing different directions and takes root even in the most boring layouts. But! Does not deny the dialogue between the present and the past, often drawing inspiration from rethinking classic interiors and deciding on the most daring experiments!

Popular designers have no doubt that synthesis innovative technologies and classic interior techniques can bear fruit.

Take a look at the photo - a clear example of this.

The modern, neutral canvas with minimalist fronts of the white, glossy cabinet has a bright accent - a vintage chandelier with candle-shaped bulbs. A lamp hopelessly out of fashion is saved by an unusual color. V this performance the chandelier becomes the main trump card in the deck of stylistic decisions.

When developing the concept of a modern interior, it is extremely wrong not to take into account the architecture of the building. The interior space of the house should be intertwined with the notes of the exterior of the building, without detracting from fashionable modern trends.

So, if the main structural elements of the house are wood and stone, then the modern filling should include these materials in the details of decoration. For example, use parquet, laminate or wooden planks... Lay out some of the walls with bricks - the masonry is always effectively combined with designer furniture, home appliances and works of art.

If you are lucky enough to settle in a house with stucco, French windows and high ceilings, then the perfect design for you is modern and traditional.

A classic in modern processing (contemporary) easily adapts to fashionable innovations, but requires premium materials. It is both graceful and practical at the same time, comfortable and unexpectedly contrasting in traditional settings. In a laconic room full of designer finds, classic elements keep the overall interior in good shape and create a solemn mood.

Modern interior ideas 2016-2017

The lack of a monotonous architecture of modern houses, limited binding to sewer risers, the location of windows, load-bearing walls limit the freedom of choice of planning solutions. As "in the picture" will not work. So you have to improvise. It is possible to combine the kitchen-dining room with the living room (which is completely in the spirit of modern interiors), to maximize the free area for the main functions, to minimize the passage areas (corridors) and be sure to carve out a place for a functional pantry-dressing room.

The choice of color can become a starting point that will predetermine a lot in the design of a modern space. The modern interior of the house, made in black (gray) and white shades with a combination of wooden surfaces, is a win-win option. Dramatic color contrast will create depth and inner rhythm. And the play of geometric surfaces, soft shapes and a variety of textures will add expressiveness to the space.

A good help for creative imagination and inspiration will be a free layout of an apartment or house. The design in a modern style, not divided by internal partitions, involves the use of a minimum amount of furniture and the most light shades.

First, the compositional center of the living space is built. Most often it becomes a living room. Around the guest area, combined with the dining room and the kitchen, all other rooms are located - a bedroom, a nursery, an entrance hall with a dressing room, an office and a bathroom. Placing rooms in a circle makes it possible to completely get rid of non-functional rooms - vestibules and corridors.

There is an opinion that you don't need to look at the designs of modern interiors for a long time, you need to live in them. The atmosphere of coziness envelops as soon as you cross the threshold of such a house. What's the secret? White color and soft wood texture create a special mood. The presence of space is made by the inclusion of brightly colored textiles. Against the background of white brick walls, gray sofas with multi-colored pillows seem especially soft.

Modern style in the interior of an apartment and a house

The complexity of decorating living rooms, bedrooms and kitchens in a modern style arises from the fact that the renovation is being undertaken in an era of synchronization of completely different civilized, cultural and personal stories in the same period of time. Therefore, in order for the project to turn out not momentary, but individual, relevant at all times, it is necessary to adhere to the recommendations.

Modern interior design rules:

  • do not skimp on finishing;
  • to pick up each item in the house with meaning and purpose. Just do not put furniture "for beauty";

  • make part of the walls and ceiling white. In addition to the visual expansion of the space, white will favorably emphasize other colors and shades, make the furniture group and decor elements expressive;

  • lighting in a modern interior is done with different scenarios. Luminaires placed at each level of the room (on the ceiling, at floor level, in furniture, in niches) will visually emphasize its depth and create a three-dimensional space;

  • remember that the modern interior of a cottage or studio apartment is plastic and multifaceted. The space absorbs the motives of many directions. Loft, minimalism, eclecticism, hi-tech, modern, eco, pop art - all these styles in one way or another have a significant impact on the formation of modern design.

Examples of modern interior design

Design options different rooms in the apartment, clearly demonstrating the ideas of modern design.

Modern kitchen interior in the apartment

The photo shows a modern kitchen interior with a large window from the architect Stanislav Lukin. The installation of a rounded corner sofa has significantly increased the level of comfort in the kitchen. The model of this sofa provides storage systems in the lower part. The glass surface of the table can be folded out if necessary.

The designer used all the corners in the kitchen. The worktop in the kitchen work area forms a convenient working triangle with the main areas.

Tip: the modern interior of the room will always look neat and neatly "combed" if the presence of open shelves is minimized. Lockers with blank doors are always better than dusty ceiling racks cluttered with incomprehensible things.

Modern interior of a children's room

Another one interesting idea architect Stas Lukin - a children's room in a modern style. The interior turned out to be dynamic and bright, and competent zoning made it possible to combine important spaces in one room.

Modern living room interior

To create a textured accent on the walls, decorative plaster, wood panels, 3D panels or bricks are often used in the living area. The rest of the surfaces are left light, neutral in color.

The best option for covering the floor of a living room in a modern style is parquet board from natural wood or laminate with a spectacular imitation of a natural pattern.

The ceiling in a modern studio apartment is mostly white. This color erases the boundaries between volumes and gathers all the "pieces" of space into a single whole.

If in a country house there are non-hemmed floor beams, then it is not necessary to arrange the space in the country or Provence style. Within the living room of the cottage, exposed beams become part of modern design when painted white and used to mount fixtures. Dark brown or black beams look no less impressive on the light ceiling of a modern living room.

Modern kitchen interior in the house

Standard set: sink, stove, kitchen table, - no longer satisfies the needs of modern owners. In the planning of fashionable modern kitchens, professional designers are increasingly abandoning dull solutions, transforming kitchen meters beyond recognition by:

smooth facades that do not attract too much attention and look like a background;

using unusual visual details: designer lamps, paintings, beautiful dishes - it is not customary to make a laconic interior in a modern style "too smooth";

splashes of bright colors - juicy yellow chairs against the neutral background of a modern black and white kitchen, work great in contrast.

In order to create a modern and functional space, there is no need to be afraid to combine natural wood and glossy monochrome surfaces, polished metal and veneer. Do not get carried away with excessive decoration of the kitchen - it is too easy to cross the border of good taste. It is better to focus on texture and color, and not make fashion the only criterion when choosing a design.

Modern bedroom interior

Three colors and three textures are enough to make a modern bedroom beautiful. Matt white ceiling, glossy black and white furniture, wood floor - this ternary system always wins. It's hard to be wrong about it.

Fresh flowers, soft textiles, a fluffy carpet and a couple of bright pillows on the bed will be responsible for the cozy atmosphere. They will also dilute the straight lines in the interior.

The success of a design project depends not only on the idea, but also on how correctly the ceiling height and the shape of the space are taken into account.

An unbeatable idea for a modern bedroom is a floating bed illuminated by LED lights in the dark.

There should be no random things in the bedroom. Only what is needed for a comfortable life: a large bed, a comfortable work area, a couple of bedside tables and, possibly, a spacious wardrobe.

Bright accents above the headboard - yellow frames framing loft-style lamps - effectively fit into the modern design of the bedroom.

Modern bathroom interior

Fashionable palette range modern bath not limited. But all shades look especially gorgeous in the bathrooms. white.

In the photo, the walls of the bathroom are tiled with porcelain stoneware with a concrete texture.

Bathrooms with marble surfaces are among the favorites of our time. It is not necessary to "dress" the room in a natural stone from head to toe. Fashion designers offer a compromise solution - to combine marble with stainless steel. An example in the picture.

Curtains are not curtains. Window decoration in modern interiors

When choosing a space to live, most of us are guided by the size, the number of windows and the views that open from them. Having got rid of the purely decorative techniques- curtains with lambrequins and jacquard curtains, it will turn out to pay more attention to its main values - air, light. And to the person who lives in this space.

Modern design a one-room apartment for the most part does not require a lush framing. And shutters in this context - the best way decorating large windows when you need to create the perfect darkening for watching a movie or sleeping.

Shutters in modern interior design in the photo

Anyone who has ever done a renovation in a modern style knows that it is a great success to find a good designer who would strive not only to realize his ambitions, but also to co-create with customers, to embody their ideas about the future home. But it is no less difficult to find the main component of success - the idea. We hope that our review has helped you organize a modern space in which it is good to relax, receive friends and just live.

If you are the owner country cottage or a private house located within the city, you understand perfectly well that the matter does not end with the arrangement of your home. A lot of time, effort and money is spent on the effective and beautiful design of the territory adjacent to the house. Nowadays, even the most remote villages have heard about landscape design. But not all of our compatriots will agree that the time for the beds, laid out throughout the personal plot, has passed, giving way to alpine slides, fountains and artificial ponds in the oriental style.

Most owners of private houses (both within the city and outside) choose the option to decorate the territory adjacent to the dwelling, but with a functional background. In order for your work to be embodied in a harmonious, beautiful and practical landscape design that will delight you and your family all year round, it is necessary to approach planning with all seriousness. Fortunately, there is more than enough information on this topic now. Equip private territory it is possible with a minimum of financial costs, but you will have to spend a lot of time and effort. To maintain the beauty of your site, you will need to find an opportunity, and pay attention to plants, buildings, reservoirs and even garden furniture.

Planning the beauty of the yard

The courtyard around a city private house or a country cottage is an adjoining territory that meets not only the owners after a hard day (or a week, in the case of country estates), but also their guests. We can safely say that the impression of homeowners begins to take shape already at the first glance at the design of a personal plot or yard.

Before you start planning your landscape design, decide what “beautiful yard” means to you? How would you like to see it, is it important for you to amaze your neighbors and guests with the splendor of the yard, or do you put practicality and convenience at the forefront? What is your lifestyle, are there children and pets, are guests often going to barbecues and barbecues, are there evening gatherings at fresh air? In many respects, the set of "decorations" for your private yard depends on the answers to these questions. Considering at the initial planning stage the many nuances of the further operation of your site, you will save not only money, but also time for subsequent alterations, reconstructions and corrections.

Of course, in many ways, the landscape design of your yard will depend on its size. If the territory is large, then the flight of your imagination will be limited only by the financial capabilities and features of the landscape of the territory, the type of soil and location in relation to the cardinal points. But if we are talking about a small backyard of a city private house, then in this case it is necessary to set clear priorities. Several square meters it will be difficult to place both a playground and a place for barbecue, and a patio for relaxation, and large flower bed with flowers.

Having worked optimal plan creating landscape design - we go to the terrain and mark the exact location of all objects (gazebos, flower beds, rock gardens, ponds and patios). Experts recommend dividing the entire site into squares for simplicity. Each such segment will have a key figure - a building or a decorative element. Thus, it is easier to distribute all the conceived landscape design items evenly and create a balanced appearance of the site.

Before the start construction works(if any are planned) it is necessary to check the condition of the territory. If segments of water accumulation are found, lay drainage. At the same stage, all communications necessary for watering plants and work are laid artificial reservoirs, fountains and waterfalls.

Paths, steps and flower beds

Garden paths are an integral part of any landscape design. In addition to its main goal - to organize safe movement around the site, the paths perform the functions of zoning and decorating the territory.

Garden paths can be laid out from large, but flat stones, concrete slabs, clinker or ordinary bricks, cobblestones, cover with fine gravel or pebbles, fencing with special low curbs. By combining the material of the paths, you can get not only the necessary functionality, but also a decorative decoration of the garden or yard.

Landscaping and geometry are inextricably linked. For some, harmony and balance in environment seen in flowing lines, rounded shapes, winding paths and oval flower beds. Someone needs severity and clarity - straight garden paths as satellites from point A to point B, strict forms of shrubs, trimmed what is called "under a ruler" and an absolutely even lawn. Only the owners know which plants and tree shapes can caress their eyes and bring calm and balance to their mood.

Planting flowers in flower beds or garden pots, pots, it is better to plan in such a way that the flowering of some is replaced by the flowering of other varieties. In this case, your yard will be able to delight you and your family. bright colors throughout the warm season (in most regions of our country, this is from about mid-April to early October).

If the landscape of your site is hilly, then instead of fighting nature, creating artificial embankments and leveling slopes, you can succumb to the natural arrangement of hills and lowlands and build beautiful steps that can act as a focal point, attracting everyone's attention.

Artificial reservoirs on the site, fountains and cascades

Rarely is an oriental landscape design complete without a small artificial pond or small water source. And as we know, all European and American landscape designers, and our compatriots as well, draw inspiration from the founders of the art of bringing beauty and harmony into the territory surrounding the house - the eastern peoples.

Japanese masters consider water not only the source of life, but also together with the earth - a symbol of harmony, balance of all living things. It is not easy to organize an artificial reservoir on the site, you will need to contact specialists, study the features of the soil and landscape in order to choose the right place, carry out communications and subsequently tirelessly take care of the health of the fountain or cascade. But all the effort, work and money spent will pay off when you can watch the fish in your artificial pond or watch water flow into a small reservoir.

Efficient private courtyard lighting system

Lighting the territory of a private courtyard is not only a question of the possibility of extending the time of communication with the surrounding nature, but also a priority of safety. A well-thought-out and harmonious lighting system will allow you to safely move around the site in the dark, be in the patio and enjoy the illumination of the most important for you items of yard landscape design.

First of all, think over functional lighting - illumination of the facade of the house and additional buildings, the entrance to the garage or parking lot, the main entrance. Experts recommend placing lighting fixtures in such a way that the outlines of the perimeter of your yard are visible and highlighted possible ways moving around the site - garden paths, steps.

Next, you can start developing a decorative lighting plan. You can create lighting near a flower bed, garden sculpture, rock garden or a pond. With the help of LED strips, trees and shrubs are illuminated, the so-called "illumination without lanterns".

In the spaces between the degrees, lamps can be built in, but this point must be thought out at the initial stage of designing the location of landscape design objects. Currently, there are many lighting devices that operate on miniature storage batteries that draw energy from sunlight. You do not have to spend money on electricity bills, the dim light of energy-saving lamps will be enough for safe movement along the paths of the site.

Even on small area you can find a corner for organizing a resting place with the possibility of cooking over an open fire. Agree, it is unfair to deny yourself the opportunity to invite friends for a barbecue, living in a private house with a yard, even if it is located in the city center.

The round hearth serves as an excellent focal point around which garden furniture (chairs or small sofas) is located, paths are formed and plants are planted. In this case, the beam layout system will be the most advantageous.

An outdoor fireplace or a large stove, laid out of stone, will become not only a functional embodiment of cooking various dishes on an open fire, but also form a resting place where you can simply relax while watching the flame in the hearth.

Outdoor dining area or canopy

For installation lunch group very little space is needed. You just need to purchase a table and chairs (or mini-chairs) to be able to dine in the fresh air.

But if you have the opportunity to organize covered canopy for the dining area on the site, in this case, bad weather conditions will not be able to influence your plans. In hot weather, you and your family or guests will be protected from the sun, in rainy weather you can safely continue your lunch or dinner.

How to set up a small backyard

Very often, urban private houses cannot boast of having a large adjacent territory. Usually in front of the house there is a place for parking a car or arranging a garage, and all areas for recreation, games and outdoor cooking have to be transferred to the backyard, the size of which is very limited.

In this case, it will be effective to locate a wooden platform or deck as a basis for arranging a patio or dining area on outdoors. Perennial plants in bulk beds along the perimeter of the territory or near the fence, they will not only decorate your backyard, but also hide your site from prying eyes.

Further, you just have to choose garden furniture, which will serve to organize a place for relaxation or outdoor dining. Outdoor furniture can be portable or stationary. Usually, stone or solid wood furniture acts as stationary furniture, but for small courtyards without awnings, this option is not the best option. It is better to give preference to folding furniture, which you can hide in the pantry or in the attic with the onset of cold weather.

There are now many garden furniture options for every taste and wallet size. The most popular among our compatriots is outdoor furniture made of plastic ( affordable price and ease of transportation) and artificial rattan (looks respectable and expensive). But there are many models made of wood, forged metal, stone and even bamboo. The choice of furniture for a private patio will depend on your financial capabilities, frequency of use and the ability to care for the furniture. For example, plastic furniture can be washed with a hose, but rattan products are very dependent on moisture. Forged chairs and tables need to be tinted every 2-3 years, and wooden furniture needs to be impregnated with oil and coated with varnish or protective antiseptics.

Decoration of your backyard can become a hedge. In addition to the main purpose of fencing the territory and protecting against the penetration of strangers, the fence can also perform a decorative function. Its frame can serve as the basis for the location of climbing plants, forming a combined hedge, or the design of the fence itself can stand out against the general background of landscape design.

The unusual design of the fence or its bright color will bring a positive mood not only to the recreation area, but also to the entire territory of the backyard. Furniture matched to the fence or soft fillings for it will create a harmonious patio with an attractive appearance.

The backyard area, in addition to the option with a wooden platform, can be laid out with concrete or stone slabs, cover with fine gravel or decorative pebbles, outlining the boundaries with low borders or metal (polycarbonate) stops. But in the case of loose flooring, one must be prepared for the constant pouring of material and leveling it over the site.

Setting up a dining area on a wooden platform is one of the most common uses for a small backyard area. What could be better than a meal with your family or with friends and family in the fresh air? In such an environment, the appetite is better and the food tastes better.

For the outdoor dining area, it is better to use light, but stable furniture, which you can bring under a canopy or even indoors, put it in storage in winter period time. But in addition to the design and material of garden furniture, the design of the products, their color and texture, also matter. If the entire composition of the dining area is designed in similar colors, the place for eating will delight and calm, creating a pacifying atmosphere. If you decide to use bright, accent pieces of furniture or decor, then the setting of the dining area will become tonic, charging you with optimism and good mood. It all depends on the temperament of the homeowners and the result they want to get from being in the backyard.

In addition to organizing a seating area or dining area, a barbecue and barbecue segment can be placed in the backyard. Whether it will be a stationary hearth, a portable grill, a real Russian stove, or just a large grill - it all depends on your preferences and the size of the yard. But in any case, you will need to take care of seating near the fire and a table that will serve many functions.

Modern construction and Decoration Materials, raw materials for the manufacture of furniture and decorative elements allow us not only to design our home for comfortable and functional use, but also to embody our cherished design ideas. A private house these days is not only walls and a roof, it is a whole world for its owners, a reflection of their views on aesthetics, practicality, functionality and beauty. The experience accumulated by designers over the long years of existence of such a concept as "creating interior design" allows us to create original or traditional, practical or luxurious, avant-garde or minimalist - any options for decorating their homes, there would be a desire and means. But in the variety of ways to create a modern, stylish and at the same time practical design for a private household it is easy and confused. We offer you a small collection of practical and effective advice who will be able to assist in the design of modern private apartments. The recommendations of the designers are certainly not a dogma, but they can help you make your own decisions on the choice of the design concept for your home, decide on the color palette and style, highlight the accents and ultimately create the interior of your dreams.

Actual ideas for creating a modern design for a private house

1. Alignment of functional segments. The connection within one room of several zones does not lose its popularity. In private houses, this design technique is no less widespread than in apartments. Combining several functional segments in one room allows you to maintain space and freedom of movement, even in small spaces. Typically, such studio rooms have high level natural light - two or more large-scale windows, in some cases glass doors (exit to the backyard). The combined spaces are also convenient from the point of view of operation and cleaning.

Most often, such functional areas as the living room, dining room and kitchen are to be combined. The arrangement of these three important life segments under one roof creates a practical environment and a beautiful, bright and spacious room with high aesthetic qualities. With the help of modern household appliances with high power, but low noise level, the organization of kitchen work processes does not interfere with relaxing in the living room segment or eating in the dining area.

But it's not just the kitchen, dining and living room segments that need to be combined. For example, workplace can be placed within the living room or bedroom. It is rare in which house a separate room is allocated for an office (unless the main work of one of the household members takes place in the home office). It is also rare in which private apartments there is the possibility of allocating a separate room for a library, as a rule, bookcases and cabinets are placed in the living room or bedroom (depending on the size of the premises and the personal preferences of the owners).

2. Plain wall decoration is a topical idea of interior decoration. V modern design projects it is less and less common to find the use of wallpaper with a pattern for wall decoration, unless this print imitates a concrete wall, brick or masonry. Monochrome finishing materials have become the undisputed favorites. And the point is not only that for small rooms such an approach to wall decoration is preferable - light, neutral tones help to visually enlarge the space. Even in fairly spacious rooms, designers recommend using a monochromatic finish. Material with a print, pattern or ornament is used only to decorate accent walls or even their individual sections.

Such a trend only "plays into the hands" of those who are not yet confident in their abilities and capabilities in the field of decorating their own home. The light, neutral tone of the finish is the perfect tone for any furnishings and decor. You do not have to rack your brains over color combinations, combination of shades. Even upholstery in pastel colors looks impressive against a white background, not to mention darker or brighter colors.

The use of the "accent wall" design technique has not lost its popularity, it has simply undergone some modifications. If earlier in the design projects of living rooms, bedrooms, and even children's rooms, dining rooms, one could find the use of two types of wallpaper from one collection, ideally complementing each other, then in modern design options for these rooms, various imitations are increasingly common. An accent wall is a brick or masonry surface, finished with wood or ceramic tiles, mosaics. You can create a simulation using decorative plaster, textured or liquid wallpaper, wall panels, laminate.

So, finishing materials in a modern interior should have the following qualities:

  • be environmentally friendly, safe for humans and the environment;
  • if possible, let the air pass;
  • be easy to install so that the finishing can be done independently;
  • be unpretentious in maintenance - surfaces in rooms with high humidity and a level of possible pollution must withstand cleaning with household chemicals and not lose their aesthetic properties;
  • should be easy to combine with each other.

3. Bright, original furniture is the accent of the interior. Considering the fact that the main trend in interior decoration is neutrality, the use of plain, light-colored materials, the role of accent elements is shifted to pieces of furniture. This trend is most vividly used in the interiors of bedrooms - the bed in such rooms is most often the only accent design object. Not only the design of the bed structure itself, but also its textile design becomes a priority.

In living rooms, dining rooms, offices and libraries of private houses, upholstered furniture plays the role of accent elements. At the same time, bright, variegated or contrasting dark color upholstery of upholstered furniture may be present in more than one piece of furniture. For example, in the living room, two sofas facing each other can be made in different, but equally accent colors.

4. Storage systems - rational use of space. In modern design projects, you can increasingly see storage systems located from the ceiling to the floor. This approach allows you to make the most of the available space. In kitchens, we see the upper tier of cabinets, suspended from the ceiling itself (it often has two levels, different in depth). Of course, the uppermost level is not suitable for daily use; it is simply inconvenient for a person with an average height to get household items from the upper shelves. But from the point of view of storing utensils that are rarely used, this approach helps to unload storage systems in other rooms, and to keep the kitchen itself in order.

If we talk about storage systems in living rooms, then they are conventionally divided into two types - built-in racks with open shelves and low modules with facades. For books, documents and photos, open shelves are used within the framework, for everything else that the owners would like to hide from the guests' eyes, compact dressers with drawers, low modules with hinged or sliding doors.

5. Lighting devices - diffuse or localized lighting. Whatever the size of the room of a modern private house, it rarely manages with only one source of artificial lighting. After all, the lighting system is not only the ability to illuminate one or another part of the room, but also the ability to create a certain atmosphere, zoning the space or highlighting especially significant segments. Well, when combining several functional zones in one space (studio room), a lighting system should be present in each.

One central chandelier is never enough in a bedroom. Even if you are not in the habit of reading before bed, lighting from local sources (wall sconces, table or floor lamps) in the bedroom is simply necessary - to create a certain atmosphere of preparation for bed. Even in a small living room, only ceiling lamps... A floor lamp or table lamp is needed in a soft seating area, reading corner or near a coffee (coffee) table.

6. Textile decoration - laconic design. If we talk about draping window openings, then designers recommend using the simplest textile solutions in form and execution. Traditional curtains- straight canvases, falling from the ceiling itself to the floor in uniform vertical folds, can appear both solo and in a company with a translucent veil (most often plain and smooth).

Another actual way of textile decoration of windows in modern interiors of premises with a wide variety of functional purpose- the use of fabric roller blinds (Roman, textile blinds, Japanese screen curtains). The design of vertical canvases in width just covering the window opening and capable of gathering into evenly distributed horizontal folds ideally suits the laconic mood of modern rooms.

If we talk about another option for using textiles for decorating a room, then the most striking and accent is the use of sofa and other decorative pillows. It is the simplest, fastest and most inexpensive way changing the character of the interior - changing the color in the performance of textile decor on the bed in the bedroom or sofas and armchairs in the living room. Replacing cushion covers is much easier than changing walls or upholstery, which is why designers and their customers love this design technique so much.

Actual color palette

As mentioned above, monochromatic wall decoration has become the undisputed favorite in the field of residential design. And it will not be news to anyone that light shades in a monochromatic version are the most common way to create a universal background for a room. A light tone helps to smooth out imperfections in architecture and surface treatment, will not focus on the flaws in the installation of window or door openings, will help to visually increase the volume of the room and will become an excellent background for accent furniture or decorative elements.

The use of white for wall decoration is also dictated by the influence of Scandinavian style on the formation of a modern style. Snow-white walls combined with warm wooden floors are one of the key motives for decorating Scandinavian dwellings. Maximum space and light is a priority in a room of any size. Namely, the white color, which practically does not absorb the sun's rays, is the best fit for the tasks and basic principles of the Scandinavian style.

Gray doesn't go out of style. Its relevance can be observed for several seasons. Universal, neutral, but at the same time noble and solid - gray color is perfectly combined with various color solutions interior. Depending on the selected shade, you can create a calm, dynamic and even dramatic atmosphere in the room. It is enough to choose a company gray a couple of tones (most often white and black, or snow-white surfaces and wood) and make one bright accent - original interior ready.

Black and white combinations in the design of modern rooms are not the last in the list of current ideas. On the one hand, such a design is easy to organize even in the absence of design skills, but on the other hand, you can get a truly original, dynamic and stylish image of the room. Depending on the size and purpose of the room, which will be decorated in a contrasting version, light and dark tones are used in varying degrees of intensity. Of course, for rooms of a small area, a light tone becomes the main one, a dark color is used only to emphasize geometry and highlight particularly significant interior items. In spacious and light rooms, a dark tone can be used as the main one for the execution of large furniture or finishing one of the surfaces.

Along with the relevance of the use of white and contrasting combinations, exists color palette which will always be used. Warm shades Brown color- from light beige, pastel shade to a deep, dark color of "bitter chocolate" always create a cozy, comfortable environment for everyone, in which you just want to relax, rest, gain strength after a hard day for new achievements. That is why the beige color scheme can be found in a wide variety of rooms - from the bathroom to the living room, from the hallway to the kitchen.

Phased implementation by example

How is the work on the project carried out

Analyzing the situation

Customers are a young family with 2 children, a 3-storey country house, the material of the outer walls is a monolith, the second light in the living room is a ceiling height of 6.7 meters, we need to make 2 children's rooms, 3 bathrooms, a functional attic floor.

Before starting work on the project, our designers went to measure the object, took photographs of all the premises and communication units. Directly at the facility, a technical assignment is drawn up with the customer, where we discuss each room in detail, find out the customer's preferences, his lifestyle, in order to provide everything necessary when preparing a planning solution.

We are working on a planning solution

Literate planning solution is the key to a comfortable life. The layout is the skeleton of the future interior, so at this stage it is necessary to think over everything to the smallest detail. The binding to communications largely determines the location of the rooms. As a result of redevelopment, a maid's room, a sauna, gym and a rest room. The layout turned out to be logical and very convenient. The customers were satisfied.

Working on a conceptual solution

Before we start working on visualization, we select analogs in a given style direction. Which we analyze in detail at a personal meeting in order to determine which of the style and functional solutions like the customer.

And having already defined the concept of the interior, we proceed to the development of sketches.

The whole studio takes part in the work on the sketches, everything is carefully thought out, discussed and then finalized. Only after that ready-made 3D visualizations are shown to the customer.

We make drawings for builders, prepare an estimate

For builders, we make detailed drawings, schematics and diagrams necessary for the implementation of the project.

All finishing materials and furniture used in the project, we enter in the statement indicating the articles, quantity, cost and addresses of stores where they can be purchased.

The hardest part is probably the most interesting part. Perfect renovation no problem it's a MYTH! It is always necessary to come to a compromise in the struggle for space, aesthetics and value for money already during the construction process.

In the process of implementation, it always arises, I repeat, there is always a need to solve a bunch of problems: to make changes to the project, to change the position of ordered materials and discontinued furniture, and hundreds of other problems that will require an urgent solution. An unprepared person simply cannot cope with such a job. We do it professionally with due enthusiasm and scrupulousness, which guarantees 100% exact compliance with the implementation of the design project without the participation of the customer.

The house shown in the following photos is distinguished by its industrial style, both inside and out. The facade of the house has a new metal cladding made of steel sheets with bright red inserts, which are also present in the interior and go well with the red brick walls. Divided over three levels, this private home consists of a lower floor, which is rented out, as well as two upper ones that make up the owner's duplex.

As you can see, this house is quite small, but the light walls and furniture make it feel quite spacious. The interior design has hints of refreshing Scandinavian style, as well as Provence and minimalism. The kitchen is tiny, but at the same time very comfortable for both cooking and eating. Open shelves throughout the house do not steal volume from the space, but they make the home very cozy and spiritual.

That's what "Wow effect" means!

8. Eclecticism and retro in the interior design of a private house

During the renovation of this old private house, its owners wanted the interior to become more open and free. To this end, the designer decided to remove some of the brick walls from the front side, replacing them with large glass doors and windows. In addition, the interior also lost part of the internal partitions and doors, and separate areas of the dwelling began to be separated by various floor coverings.

As for the decor, it is completely different here for all rooms. Natural shades and natural materials blend with vibrant and glamorous décor, English furniture stands next to Chinese furniture on a Tibetan rug, and antique bathroom details come to life under a disco mirrored ball on the ceiling. As a result, this home is an amazing mix of practical and bohemian, open and cozy, brightly colored and soothing neutral.

9. Interior design of a private house in eco style

Eco style can have different manifestations.
