Small sauna in the country. Sauna in the country (35 photos): ready-made structures and inflatable options. Do-it-yourself erection. Building on your own

Almost any owner of a personal plot would like to build a bathhouse there. However, its area may be small and it is not possible to build a full-fledged structure. In such a situation, you can build a mini-bath for a summer residence. It will be as functional and comfortable as the traditional one, but its construction will require less materials and effort. Even a novice home master will be able to cope with this task.

If area suburban area does not exceed 10 acres, then best solution will become a small-sized bath. It is quite obvious that the dimensions of the building must also be ergonomic and not exceed 4x6 meters. There are several designs that meet these requirements:

  • Frame - the simplest structure of this type is installed on a lightweight base and has a wear-resistant frame made of wood, sheathed quality material. Also, to minimize negative impact temperature changes and moisture, the structure should be insulated and waterproofed.
  • Monolithic - wood concrete, which is a mixture of sand, can be used as a material, chemical additives, cement and aggregate.
  • Mobile - there are several variants of this design, for example, an awning tent.
  • Ergonomic - the most popular here is a barrel bath made of wood.

Design features

Bars are laid on top, which are then covered with waterproof material such as bitumen. If the soil is soft or wet, then it is better to use a strip foundation.

The prepared trench should be covered with a layer of sand and gravel, after which it should be well compacted. Then to be done cement mortar and pour it into the ditch. As waterproofing material it is worth using ruberoid.

You can build walls different ways. For a small bath, the best option would be frame structure. To create it home master you will need the following materials:

  • Wooden beam 5x5 cm.
  • Boards with a thickness of at least 2.5 cm.
  • Polyethylene film for waterproofing.
  • Thermal insulation material.

The frame is assembled from timber in accordance with the draft. inner side structures must be sheathed with a board. Anchors or self-tapping screws can be used as fasteners. Then it is necessary to provide the building with reliable thermal protection. To solve this problem, it is worth using expanded clay or sawdust. As a waterproofing material, bituminous mastic is perfect. The final stage of building walls will be interior decoration board. To mount it, follow these steps:

To ensure the full drainage of water after the completion of the bath "session", you should create drainage system. To do this, just dig drainage well close to the building. In the washing room, it is necessary to make drain holes and bring pipes to them at a slight slope in the direction of the well.

You can heat water using a heating element or a mini-oven. Create ventilation system even easier - just make a few holes in the wall located near the entrance and close them with shutters. On this, the process of creating a small-sized bath can be considered completed.

Often land only the construction of vitally necessary buildings. The small area of the site, the use of every piece of land for planting or thought out simply does not leave room for additional buildings. In this case, there is only one way out for lovers of bath procedures: the construction of a mini-bath. What is a mini-bath for a summer residence, how to build it and what is needed to build it - let's figure it out.

Mini-bath for a summer residence. Advantages and disadvantages

The main advantage of a mini-bath is the area of the site occupied during its construction. The second, no less important parameter is the cost of building a mini-bath in the country.

Usually mini-ovens for small volumes are metal structures designed to generate steam. As an example, consider the stove for the bath Varvara "Mini".

Sauna stove Varvara Kamenka mini

This is a wood burning stove overall dimensions 48×66 cm and 88 cm high. steel structure The top of the firebox itself is covered with a casing, inside of which there are convection channels. The air, heated in the area of the firebox, exits through the holes in the casing into the heater, thereby quickly heating the stones. As a result, the oven heats up very quickly, warming up without large room in a very short time.

In addition, there are also simpler designs of stoves in which the heating of the heater is carried out directly by the action of heat from the combustion of fuel. Using in the steam room, you need to provide a place for storing fuel, or a shed near the bath.

With small volumes of a steam room, in some cases it is advisable to use electric sauna stoves and electric heaters.

On a note! Installing a heat exchanger on the chimney will allow you to quickly warm the air in the steam room. But this option is possible with the appropriate dimensions of the bath.

Mini-pools for a bath

Additional installation in the bath will expand the functionality of the bath and add comfort. It is worth noting that it is better to initially foresee the laying of a pool in the bath project, since mini-pools for a bath require summing up water supply systems, draining water, and heating.

For this reason, embedding a pool in finished bath The work is quite troublesome and costly. There are several types of pools designed for installation in a bath:

  • Stationary. In this case, the pool is initially laid in the bath project, a foundation pit is pulled out under it, the walls of the pool are concreted and covered decorative coating. This type of pool is mainly used for full-sized bath buildings.
  • Font. metal or plastic construction designed for installation in a pre-prepared box. To put it into operation, you only need to connect the font to the water supply system.
  • Portable pools. Metal constructions with plastic trim. As well as the font, they are installed in a prepared bed, after which they are connected to the water supply system.

Pools can be equipped with water heating systems, hydromassage equipment, but in this case, the help of qualified specialists is required to connect them.

Mini-sauna for a summer residence

From the bath is distinguished by the type of steam and temperature. In order to make a sauna out of a steam room, it is enough to install an electric steam generator, an electric heater or a wood-fired sauna inside the steam room. When using a steam room for a sauna, interior decoration from one type of wood is recommended: pine, linden or alder. A mini-sauna in the country should be as closed as possible, almost sealed. Special attention it needs to be insulated. This is necessary to maintain a high temperature inside the sauna for a long time, while minimal cost energy carrier.

How to build a small bath for a summer residence with your own hands

Before construction, you should familiarize yourself with the projects of already built baths and choose the most best option. Projects of mini-baths for giving with their own hands (both frame and timber) are quite widespread, and it is not difficult to find them. Before you build a small bath with your own hands, you need to decide on the type of bath, the material for its construction and location.

After all organizational issues are resolved, you should proceed directly to the construction process. First of all, build a foundation and, after that, proceed with the construction of walls, and interior decoration.

This technology is used to speed up the construction of not too heavy buildings, other architectural structures. In the article you will find step by step instructions erection of structures and useful advice from experts.

The main requirement during construction is accuracy. Everything must be done calmly and without haste. This will allow you to build a bath in short time without incidents at work.

Helpful advice! When purchasing materials for construction, focus on the medium and high price range. soft materials for roofing, heaters and a vapor barrier, purchase according to a pre-calculated estimate, + 10% for the stock of material.

Important point when building a bath - do not forget about. For a steam room of a small volume, a channel in the wall is sufficient; for larger rooms, a fan will be required. This is necessary so that our small bathhouse in the country is a place comfortable rest and not a peddler of miasma.

Small baths for giving - a few interesting projects for independent construction

Bath is one of the main buildings on the modern personal plot. Here you can relax and take a break from household and garden work while improving health. However, in order to bath building functioned correctly, when building it, you should take into account a number of nuances.

Traditional bath includes several functional premises, however, due to territorial limitations personal plots, home craftsmen strive to minimize the dimensions of the structure. Sometimes this reduces the area of \u200b\u200bthe premises, and in some cases one of them has to be completely abandoned.

This article outlines several useful tips on design and construction of small bath facilities.

Features of bath buildings

Traditional Russian bath was made from wood. However, today such structures can be built from any building blocks.

Ideally bath building should include the following areas:

  1. dressing room. This is an ordinary entrance hall or dressing room, in which there is a closet where the clothes of bath visitors are hung, as well as a place to store fuel.
  2. Restroom- usually the largest room in the bath, where there is a table at which you can have tea parties and have conversations with friends.
  3. Washing where a container with water is located for receiving cooling procedures.
  4. steam roomthe main place in the bath, where stove stove installed heating the air in the steam room.

Unfortunately, due to space savings, such a set of rooms is not present in every bath, which will be discussed below.

Reasons for building a small bath

Nowadays small bathhouse can be built for several reasons:

  1. Lack of free space.
  2. Low price, because the costs for small-sized construction will be much less.
  3. For practical reasons. The smaller the building, the lighter it is and puts less pressure on the foundation, respectively, it is easier to maintain it in proper form. Yes, and a lonely person or a small family simply does not need to build a whole tower to receive bath procedures.

About the distribution of space in small baths

If your goal is small bath in the country with their own hands, then to save space you should heed these tips:

  1. dressing room and rest room most often combined into one large room. Naturally, if it is not planned to operate the bath by several people at once, then it is better to make the rest room small, cozy room, putting here a table for four people and four stools.

Advice! Should be used exclusively simple wooden furniture . Cushioned furniture, covered with leather or fabric for such premises is not suitable, because constant humidity will have an extremely negative effect on appearance such upholstery.

You also need to decide from which room the fuel will be loaded into the furnace.

Often the oven is loaded from the rest room, because:

  • It is more convenient to store firewood here, in which case they do not need to be brought into the steam room.
  • Despite the small size of the steam room, it will be inconvenient to load fuel from this room.

  • One wall has a place for storing firewood, a stove door and a door to the steam room.
  • On the opposite wall we have a wardrobe and a table with chairs.

Advice! The interior of the rest room should be as simple as possible. Before decorating it various items, consider whether they are suitable for this room. Skins and stuffed animals are obviously a bad choice.

  1. If you plan to build a very small bath (for example, 3 by 3 meters), then you can completely refuse the rest room.

In this case, you must do the following:

  • At the entrance is small hallway, which fits a cabinet and a place to store fuel.
  • Fuel loading is carried out in the steam room.
  • The interior consists of three rooms: an entrance hall, a sink and a steam room.

Calculation of space for bath rooms

Wishing build a small bathroom, it is very important not to overdo it, because space saving considerations should not be higher than the functionality of the room.

  1. The volume of the rest room should be calculated taking into account the fact that each visitor has 2-3 square meters of area.
  2. The area of the washing room is calculated similarly to the rest room.
  3. The steam room can be closer, one and a half or two will be enough square meters per person.

It is desirable that in each of the rooms there is one small window. This will save you energy costs when taking bath treatments in daytime days.

Advice! Windows should be located at a height above the height of the average person, that is, at a distance of 185-190 cm from the floor.

Construction planning- a very important stage, since it is during the development of the plan that further comfort from using the bath is determined. Therefore, making project of a small bath for a summer residence, you should compare all the pros and cons as much as possible in order to get the most functional structure.

Small baths to give a photo

Want to get a bath, but your summer cottage is so small that it does not allow you to build a steam room standard dimensions? The best way out of the situation is a mini-bath. In terms of functionality and comfort, it is in no way inferior to traditional structures, but it takes up much less space and does not require serious costs. In addition, you can easily make a small steam room for a summer residence with your own hands - then we will tell you how to bring such an idea to life.

Even a small bath cannot be built without at least the simplest project, so the first stage of work is drawing up a plan. Here you need to indicate the location of the main objects and their dimensions.

As a rule, four zones are distinguished in the bath:

  • dressing room - enough space with an area of 1.5 x 2 m;
  • rest room - about 2 x 2 m;
  • shower room - at least 1 x 1 m;
  • steam room - no more than 1.5 x 2 m.

The plan of a small bath for a summer residence

Thus, we obtain the minimum dimensions of the bath: length - 6 m, height - 2 m, width - 2.5 m. This is quite enough to equip a comfortable and practical steam room.

The second stage of work is pouring the foundation. When deciding on the type of foundation, be guided by the type of soil of the site.

If the mini-bath is being built on hard and dry ground, you can limit yourself to a lightweight foundation: lay flat stones over the entire area of \u200b\u200bthe future bath, cover them with clay, tamp, and arrange a dense layer on top wooden beams and treat them with waterproofing bitumen.

If your site has soft soil, lay a strip foundation: dig a trench, alternately fill it with layers of sand and gravel, tamp the base and fix the reinforcing mesh on top, and then fill the pit with cement mortar.

Important! Strip foundation be sure to cover with a layer of waterproofing. The easiest option is sheets of roofing material.

On soil with a high content of sand, a foundation of concrete blocks can be laid under a miniature bath. For a lightweight design, 10 blocks of standard dimensions of 20 x 20 x 40 cm are enough.

Bath frame construction

The best method of building a mini-bath is frame. It is light, fast and economical. To build the frame you will need:

  • bars 5 x 5 cm;
  • boards 2.5 cm thick;
  • waterproofing film or foil;
  • thermal insulation material.

Construction of a bath

First, a frame is assembled from the bars, corresponding in size and configuration to a previously developed project. From the inside, the frame is sheathed with boards. To connect the elements to each other, use all kinds of anchors and multi-format screws. Insulating materials are mounted on top of the boards: mineral wool, expanded clay or sawdust can be used as thermal insulation, and bituminous or polymer mastics. It is necessary to isolate not only the walls, but also the floor and ceiling.

Advice. It is advisable to additionally close the heat and waterproofing of the ceiling with roll-up shields - next to wooden boards.

After the insulation procedures, you need to take care of the roof. As a coating, you can use corrugated board, slate or metal tiles: first mount the truss system on the frame, and fix the roof on it with self-tapping screws. When constructing the roof, leave an opening for the chimney.

Outside, a mini-bath can be sheathed with a block house or clapboard - these materials will give the structure an aesthetic look.

Arrangement of communications

The final stage of work on the mini-bath is the arrangement of the necessary communication systems.

Supply and discharge of water. The feed can be made self-flowing:

  1. Prepare two tanks of 50 liters each, a hose and a pipe with a mixer.
  2. Tank for hot water install 0.5 m lower than the cold tank.
  3. Connect the tanks to each other with a hose: fix one end in the lower zone of the “cold” tank, the other in the upper zone of the “hot” one.
  4. Additionally, connect the tanks with a pipe with a mixer at the end.

To ensure the drainage of water, you will need a drainage system:

  1. Dig a drainage well near the steam room.
  2. Make drain holes in the bath floor.
  3. Bring the pipes to the holes, mounting them with a slight slope.
  4. Guide the pipe into the drain well.

Arrangement of a washroom

Water heating system. To heat water, you can use a mini-stove or heating elements. In the first case, you must first install the device, and then in its hottest place, rounding the base of the chimney, mount a U-shaped metal pipe: the inlet end of the pipe should be placed on the body, and the outlet should be 5 cm higher. In the second case, it is necessary to install heating elements under the "cold" tank and connect them to the water supply system with hoses and pipes.

Ventilation system. To ensure ventilation in a small bath, it is enough to make holes with a damper in the wall opposite the entrance.

A mini-bath is the choice of those who do not want to give up a full-fledged steam room due to the modest dimensions of their summer cottage. As you can see, building it with your own hands is not difficult: foundation, frame, communications - you will successfully cope with these tasks if you follow simple recommendations and rules.

Do-it-yourself mini-bath: video

Home sauna has the most simple design and small size, which greatly facilitates its construction. The most responsible process is the arrangement of the furnace and ventilation, everything else will not require much effort and material costs. An inexpensive and comfortable do-it-yourself sauna in the country is not only an opportunity have a nice rest but also cause for pride.

For the construction of a sauna, a site located near the house is chosen, where it is possible to dig a hole for a septic tank. It is undesirable to grow nearby big trees destroying the foundation of the structure with their roots. For the convenience of steaming in the sauna, 1 person should have at least 2 cubic meters premises.

If we add the dimensions of the locker room and the washing room, then the minimum building area will take 10 square meters. m. A pit for draining water can be located under the washing room, which will save space.

The body of the sauna can be made of brick, timber and even metal frame, insulated and sheathed with siding. Inside the premises, they must be upholstered with clapboard or ordinary boards. The choice of tree is very important: the most good option is linden or alder. conifers very useful, inexpensive and have a pleasant smell, but with high temperature release resin.

The main element of the sauna is the oven. It is best if it is real, lined with red brick and heated with firewood. But the construction of such a furnace is only possible experienced master, therefore, without special knowledge, it is not worth taking on its construction. The optimal solution will be the acquisition of finished metal furnace with built-in heat exchanger and water heating tank.

Foundation construction

For construction column foundation you will need:

  • supporting pillars;
  • garden drill and shovel;
  • roulette and level;
  • septic tank;
  • crushed stone and sand;
  • concrete mortar.

Step 1. Marking the site

First, markup is made: the location of the corner support is determined, a peg is driven in and the distance to the second corner is measured. Further perpendicular and lines mark the sides and 2 more corners of the building. You should get the right rectangle. The perimeter of the future sauna and internal partitions marked with a rope stretched between the pegs. Support posts must be installed at each corner, under bearing walls at a distance of 2 m and under the intersection of internal partitions.

In addition to the location of the corner posts, you should immediately determine the place for drain pit. If there is a large container for a septic tank, the dimensions of the pit should correspond to the volume of the container, otherwise you need to dig a square pit with a side of 1 m and a depth of about 1.2 m. Holes for support pillars are easiest to make using hand drill. For light wooden saunas, the depth of the holes for the foundation pillars is 40-50 cm.

Step 2: Preparing the Pit

At the bottom of the pit, sand is poured with a layer of 15 cm, rammed and a layer of rubble is poured. After that, a container with perforated walls is installed, the top is leveled and strengthened. In the absence of a barrel, the walls of the pit are laid out with bricks, leaving small uniform gaps in the masonry for water seepage. Starting from half of the pit to the top, the masonry must be made monolithic in order to avoid soil shedding.

Step 3. Building the foundation

Logs are suitable for support posts, metal pipes and concrete poles. The tree must be chosen the most dense, preferably pine. To avoid rotting, the surface of the logs is thickly coated bituminous mastic and dry.

Metal pipes are first treated with a primer with anti-corrosion properties. Crushed stone is poured at the bottom of the holes, after which the pillars are installed and aligned in height and vertical. Next, the holes are covered with soil mixed with sand, spilled with water for greater compaction and rammed.

The top of the pillars is covered with roofing material and the base beams are laid around the perimeter future construction. Fasten beams with staples or nails to support legs. Inside the perimeter, additional bars are mounted in increments of 20 cm and parallel to each other. This will be the basis for floor covering. You can replace the beam with a reinforcing mesh, install the formwork and pour concrete.

Brick buildings, even small in size, require skill, especially when building corners. It is much easier to build a frame from a bar and sheathe it with boards. After insulation, such a building will be no worse than a brick one. You can assemble a frame from glued or profiled timber, which is the most popular option for a country sauna.

So, to assemble the frame you will need:

  • timber 100x150 mm;
  • wooden slats 40x60 mm;
  • support beams;
  • level;
  • screws or nails;
  • primer;
  • metal staples;
  • glassine;
  • mineral wool;
  • foil vapor barrier;
  • sheathing boards.

Step 1. Installation of supporting structures

First, corner support beams are mounted: they are fixed with spacers, aligned vertically with a level and attached to the base with metal brackets. From above, along the perimeter, the frame is fastened with bars. Further along the walls, intermediate ones are installed every meter. vertical bars and fix them with brackets to the lower and upper strapping.

Door and window frames are mounted between the racks, cross rails are nailed to strengthen the structure. At the corners, braces from a bar are installed, directed in different directions.

Step 2. Outer skin of the frame

The wooden frame is sheathed with boards from 3 cm thick. They start work from the corner and from the bottom: the first board is applied to the supports parallel to the ground, leveled so that the edge does not go around the corner, and nailed. It is undesirable to join the boards in the middle of the span, their edges should converge on one of the vertical racks. The rafters are sheathed last, while it is necessary to leave a hole in the roof for the chimney.

Step 3. Insulation of walls, floor and ceiling

From the inside, the walls are upholstered with glassine or plastic wrap for waterproofing insulation. Along the edges, the film is overlapped by 10-12 cm, the seams are sealed with construction tape. Plates are tightly inserted between the bars of the frame mineral wool, the thickness of the insulation layer is at least 10 cm.

From above, cotton wool is covered with foil material that acts as a vapor barrier. The foil side must be located on top to reflect heat from the inside of the room.

The floor and ceiling can be insulated with foam plastic 10 cm thick. The base boards are covered with plastic wrap, the edges of which should extend to the walls by about 3-5 cm. mounting foam, and a screed is poured on top. You can also make a wooden floor, although the boards will last less in such conditions. You can lay tiles on the screed - it is easy to clean and is not afraid of changes in temperature and moisture.

Where the furnace will be installed, a fireproof base must be made: a square metal sheet is nailed to the floor, the dimensions of which exceed the area of the furnace, and bricks are laid on top of the edge in dense rows. A clay-sand mixture serves as a binder solution. Brick is used only red burnt, other types are not suitable.

The ceiling is insulated as standard: a foam plastic is inserted between the ceilings, all the cracks are blown out with foam, and the vapor barrier layer is fixed with the foil up with a stapler. After that, the wiring is laid, the walls and ceiling are sheathed with clapboard.

Arrangement of internal premises

After the construction and thermal insulation of the building, you can proceed to the main part - the installation of the furnace and interior arrangement saunas. It is very important to properly insulate wooden surfaces located next to the oven. For the wall adjacent to the furnace, red brick is ideal and aerated concrete blocks, in extreme cases, you can use a sheathing made of galvanized sheets.

To equip a sauna you will need:

  • metal oven;
  • stainless steel tank;
  • connecting pipes and tap;
  • bench boards;
  • self-tapping screws;
  • roulette;
  • screwdriver;
  • chimney with a protective cap.

Step 1 Mounting the oven

They lay out a wall of brick or aerated concrete blocks, corresponding in width to the width of the furnace. If there is no desire to mess with bricks, you can beat the adjacent walls and part of the ceiling with special felt, and then sheathe it all with galvanization. A stove is installed on a brick base, a chimney is led to the attic, pipes and a water tank are connected to the stove.

To avoid fire truss system, around chimney knock down a box from the boards and fill it with a mixture of sand and clay. The pipe is in the middle of the box and cannot heat wooden elements the buildings. Around the furnace, a protective frame is also constructed from scraps of lumber. Wooden fencing can be round, square or rectangular; it should not rise above the heating elements by more than 5 cm. A distance of 7-10 cm is left between the heater and the fence.

Step 2. Installing shelves and doors

The lower shelf is attached to the walls at a level of 50-65 cm from the floor, the upper one - at a distance of 1 m from the sauna ceiling. Usually they make 3 shelves with a width of 30 cm or more, depending on the composition of the household. For the manufacture of shelves use the same boards as for inner lining. Previously, they are thoroughly polished, impregnated with an antiseptic, then with a special varnish.

Doors in the sauna are recommended to open outwards. AT door leaf you can install window from frosted glass. bottom edge doors must be cut by 5 cm to ensure air flow. As locks, roller or magnetic latches are used, which, if necessary, open very easily.

Step 3. Laying the stones

For a sauna choose stones of a rounded shape, without cracks and deep potholes. Before laying, they must be washed and dried well. First, large stones are laid, trying not to leave gaps between them, and then the remaining space is filled with small stones. During the operation of the sauna, the stones will have to be periodically inspected, washed and removed pieces that have broken off.

Step 4. Finishing

At the final stage, lamps, towel hooks, and a clothes hanger are installed. Light bulbs are best mounted above the doorway or in the corner opposite the shelves. In order not to get burned by the lamp in a cramped room, it is recommended to close it decorative grille. It should be borne in mind that all lighting devices must be moisture resistant.
